    Hi Girls,

Hi Tina- sorry you are back here, that must make it more painful but I hope you find the support you need, I know I did and still do.

Smallfryplus- yes we are all TWW buddies so lots of and for all of us. I'm planning to do a test on sunday even though it will be early, just can't wait.

I chart and now use OPKs too. I wish I'd used them before because I can now see a few months where we were days out because I expected to o heaps earlier than it happened. My temps are pretty obvious and there is always a very distinct rise after I o. I've found I do need to use the OPKs for several days (in my case cd15 to cd25) so i use the cheap ones off the net. The only prob is that you have to use them each day because they don't get more and more positive, it's such a small window because one day its negative and then I get 2 days of positive. Makes things much easier for me though given that I'm not dtd at frequent times.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Sunbeam! We're buddies!!! YAY someone to obsess with!!!

I have only 1 pregnancy test in the house and I have not ordered more off the net so Im "TRYING" to hold out. I seem to get spotting or lightly discoloured CM at 11DPO so i need some nerves of steel.

    Here's hoping!!

    Coco,

Having a look at your chart, and it really could go either way. The thing that will differentiate between day 12 and day14 as O day is the difference between the temps on day 8 and 14, cause day 14 is the only one that's close to any other temp in the 6 prior. But then the spike on day 13 throws things out too, and would suggest O on day 12. If you look at day 14 as not being higher than the previous 6 readings, then I would atually say that O is day 15, cause the next three (although there's only two) readings are higher However, you still got positive opk's which wouldn't happen if you had already o'd, plus the ovulation pain....hmmm.......( i hope this makes some kind of sense to you?!?!?!)

my verdict: I would say you o'd between day 14 and day 15 due to incorporating the other factors of opk, pain and mucus. The good thing is you bd on each day so chances are you caught it! Go with your initial feelings of when you o'd. I reckon you're about right.

i think i may have confused you even more??? This isn't a perfect science, but your chart looks pretty promising to me.

Really hoping for a bfp for you soon. Very exciting!!

Can I ask why this would be the last month of charting?

Im so sick of random people asking if im pregnant yet! Like we just arent trying hard enough.
I went to the newsagents this morning to get a few pregnancy magazines to check out the fashions for work and the ladies behind the counter almost screamed as she asked if i was expecting. Then she continued to tell me how both her children were by accident. Grrrrr
Im not sure why people who arent even my friends or family think i would tell them anyway.

    Sorry about the winge.

Hope everyone is having a good day today.
    all round.

    Jukes of course,

I just need a break from the obsession. IF im not pregnant this month, Ill be stopping temping but Ill still be doing opk's.

I dont know how well it will go but i think the dissapointment every month is getting much too hard for me to bear..so a break sounded like the right thing to do...I am considering maybe charting until my FF account runs out if not pg before hand..

    Hi girls

Hey coco-yes i'll obsess with you no problem. I have 12 tests in the house and they are the really early ones so I'm starting on sunday even though I never got a bfp before day 14 before with the shop ones. I also had really sensitive bb's the last 2 times so I'll be watching for this as it's not something I usually get with a/f. I'm feeling pretty happy and healthy within myself so I'm glad we ttc this time even though its before a/f returned.

If you are going to stop charting are you just going to do OPKs over several days? I figure that should be just as affective since temps don't really tell you much until after you o'd.

Milly- I'm sorry people are being insensitive around you. After my m/c I had a week off and had to phone and cancel my clients. One lady asked if it was the flu and I said no I'm just feeling really unwell and dizzy (which I was due to the anasthetic from d&c) and she said, "gees I hope you're not pregnant." I could so have sreamed down the phone at her.

I'm trying to type to you all but my DH wont stop harassing me and sticking wet fingers in my ears or playing with my boobs he's wanting some attention so i will be quick i am getting closer to ov time and it's suppose to be the start of my fertile days and as usual my DH and i are working every day he is doing 12 hour shifts from 6pm to 6am then he has to get some sleep and i am working days so trying to bd at the right time is going to be impossible so i'm not very optomistic we will catch that egg unless i ov a bit later than normal so i feel sad that i will miss another month now

Coco-the obsession is the worst i am that bad my DH say's i make appointments to have sex so i dont miss the egg that made me feel bad.

Maddison-i get it every day at work (are you pregnant yet) it makes me feel like a failure

Anila-hope you get your BFP soon

anyway im going to give my man some attention that i havn't booked in (LOL)
and it's 8 days until the geneticist app for our verdict

Coco - fair enough too. I understand how charting can be intense at times, so not a bad idea to give it a break. Your OPK's will give you what you need to know - that is if you need it - sending you lots of positive vibes.

Maddison - it's amazing how people feel the need to comment. When i was m/cing i went to the chemist and bought 4 preg tests cause i knew i'd want to keep testing to see if there was any remote possibility it was going to be ok. the young girl behind the counter remarked, that 'wow want to see it four times huh?' with a big smile on her face. i felt like saying 'actually i'm in the process of losing a baby and am monitering how things are going' and walk straight out, but of course i just smiled like you and wanted to burst out crying. I guess unless you've been in our situation people just don't have the sensitivity of what others could be going through. bloody frustrating!

Sunbeam - wishing you luck and hope you get your bfp soon with all your tests! ha ha

hope everyone else is going ok

AFM - just having dinner with DS. going to acupuncture this thursday and am really looking forward to it for some reason. just means i'm a bit closer to ttc again. by my calculation i'll be 4 weeks away from ttc again - and gee that sounds like forever away. actually looking forward to af coming this month. life is cruel sometimes isn't it - af = something you can look forward to one month and yet hate the next for what it represents. aaaagggghhhhhh!!!!!!!

    HI ladies,
just a quick post - feeling blah, AF sucks, bawled my eyes out last nigh, still feel "hung over" from not sleeping and crying last night.
    Thanks for the support.
FIngers crossed for you coco, sunbeam and anila in your 2ww, and who ever else is there too that I missed.

Hi ladies, been a while since i posted and i missed a lot!

Greenslw I am so happy for you, i think we all look to you for inspiration and hope and are holding our breath with you every step of the way- lets hope the scary bits are done with

Welcome TinaR, I am so sorry, I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through- you are one strong person and I can understand not knowing if you have the courage to try again.

Ferals4 fingers crossed for your genetic tests, keep us posted, I am thinking of you

Juleswa I feel so like you, want to start TTCing straight away but also need to wait for my cycle to settle- or do I?? its driving me mad! I think I have decided (with DH) to give it a go, if it happens my body must think its ready and I guess I should trust it (despite feeling let down after the m/c). But all this talk of painful o'ing after the m/c is starting to freak me out! I only just stopped bleeding so maybe thats whats in store...guess u have to O to get a BFP so if it happens I will try and look on the bright side...

I can empathise with everyone's complaints- my sis found out today that she is having a girl. I am so happy for her but at the same time so sad for me, I just want to be pg so bad-it consumes my day, I actually am glad of work cos at least it forces me to think about something else...otherwise i spend too much time in "would have been" land!

    for everyone!

    Evening Ladies.

I can't believe after being so tired all day I now feel sick as a dog and can't lie down. So it's crackers and pepermint tea and chuzzel...... I need rest.

KM1 Thanks for your kind words, I hope you can get a BFP soon so you and your sister can compare notes. I do think it's hard. If my First IVF had worked I'd have a baby now, my friend is due in two weeks, it would have been nice but I guess it is better to have a baby away from others, or they compare and of course your baby is always the best

Ferrals thanks for the great visual I think it's so cute I hope it was a good BD and lots of

I hope everyone is nicely tucked up in bed were I really wish I was...... Dam feeling sick.......

greens - thanks for the reply to my cm question... I'm trying not to post in here too much during my TWW because I know it'll just drive everyone nuts! Have you tried ginger? When I was pg with DD1 I had really bad morning sickness, losing weight up til week30 it was so bad, the only thing that helped it was ginger so I had it in all forms. The most effective was the blackmores (think it was blackmores anyway) ginger and vitamin b ms tablets. They were great. Only problem is that because it sometimes didn't prevent chucking up, it took years to be able to have ginger again!!

cat - welcome to the thread. It's possible your post has been missed, I didn't see it til this morning for some reason even though I had been through yesterdays posts??! Weird. Very sorry to hear about your losses but, as we tell all the new ones (and as I was told too!) this place is great for support and information. The ladies here are all very sweet and I've personally had a really special experience since joining only a couple of months ago. I'm afraid I can't help you with Sydney fertility specialists (I'm in Melbourne) but I'm sure there is someone else in here who will be able to.

Sunbeam, coco, anila, hope your tww is not too stressful for you. Have you tested again Anila? Any symptoms of AF?

Hello to everyone else hope today treats you well.

AFM - I'm studying for exams while ignoring the sore boobs, twingy abdomen and fatigue... too much fun. hahahaha

    Goodmorning all,

catherineq - I also missed your post sorry. Have you got your blood test results?? I hope you get good results. and

Greenslw & Milly5 - I hope you both managed to get some sleep last night. Our bodies can be very cruel to us. Sometimes for a good reason and sometimes not.

Sunbeam, Coco, Anila - Is anyone feeling any symptoms yet?? I am 8-10dpo (i think) but nothing really. Had an upset tummy last night so i didnt eat tea but feel back to normal now. Does anyone get symptoms before they miss a/f? Last time i was extremely hungry 3 days before i got BFP the day before a/f was due but no other symptoms.

Where does eveyone get their hpts online? Are they better than the store ones? More sensitive? Or just cheaper?

Wishing everyone a positive and happy day.

The Moderation team here at Belly Belly have compiled some signature guidelines for use in the Miscarriage and Loss and Long Term Trying To Conceive Forums. These guidelines are in an effort to be as sensitive as possible to those in these forums.
These guidelines are in effect immediately and are for all threads in the said forums with the exception of the Pregnancy and Parenting threads of these forums.

In the Miscarriage & Loss threads links to your child(ren) website that fall within our guidelines listed HERE are permitted.
    * In the LT TTC forums links to your child(ren)'s website are not permitted.
    * The following tickers are allowed - TTC Tickers without photos of babies, weight loss, christmas countdown tickers are the only tickers admissable in the said forums} - with the exception being the parenting and pregnancy threads of the above forums.

If you have another ticker or a signature that does not comply with the above guidelines you will be required to turn it off prior to posting.

To disable your signature simply untick the box "show your signature" - you will find this if you scroll down below the text box you post in.

For members who find all signatures/avatars confronting you can disable them across the board via the User profile page and under Edit Options you can tick if you want to see avatars/images/signatures etc.

We understand this can be difficult to remember at times but we ask that you get in the habit of doing this so we can be sensitive to posters in these forums. If you do not remove your ticker it will be edited out. Repeatedly dismissing these guidelines will incur an infraction. For more on infractions see HERE .

Most "older" members are aware that we have had similar policies for a long time now on Belly Belly - however with many new members we feel it's important to set guidelines.

Please be mindful of this when replying to all posts in the Miscarriage & Loss & in the Long Term Trying to Conceive forums.

As with all decisions made by the Administration and Moderating team - this is a united decision. We ask that members gracefully accept this as a rule of our community. Debating with regard to this on the boards will be infracted & posts removed - we ask that members step outside their circle and accept that many find pregnancy and baby tickers upsetting after loss. Those that disagree are by far in the minority.

Thankyou for your consideration & understanding.

G'day Maddison! I love seeing your name, it gives me hope (for those who missed that post, Madison is what we are calling our first daughter..with 1-D though) I have got no symptoms, I am trying to not think about any of it too much this time. I am only 6dpo so wouldnt expect to be feeling much for a while yet.
When I did fall pregnant I felt VERY emotional at 10DPO just down in the dumps but i had no reason to feel that way, 11dpo I was really thirsty, and peeing alot...most likely because i was drinking alot..I was wanting a nap before work (i work evenings) and hungry on demand, like I had to eat RIGHT NOW! 12DPO cant remember, apart from being tired... 13DPO my fave fareyform bra that fits like a glove felt like it was strangling me..I tested that afternoon...not because of my symptoms but because FF said "you can take a test! You are past your luteal phase!" and sure enough it was a bfp

I didnt get any sickness whatsoever..maybe verrrry slight nausea for like 5 mins here and there, but mainly feeling tired and wiped out and hungry...

    HTH?

I havent ordered more tests off the net like I normally do for this month. I normally get them from mums the one.com I havent had a bfp off them yet to tell you whether store brought is better or not...the OPK's seem to be better than store brought? stronger lines, faster result..

I have ONE first response test here and I will order tests on friday..that way they'll come by monday 10DPO and it wont be too early by tuesday 11dpo...well..i hope anyway..I just dont want to waste money on them..but i know ill be buying tests anyway and better buy them off the net being cheaper and getting more for my money..

    I have rambled alot..sorry haha

    Hello ladies

Hi cat- sorry I missed your post too maybe it was moderated before it was posted. Sorry to hear of your losses. I'm not in Sydney either so I can't help with fertility clinic info. I hope you find the support and information you need, these women are awesome.

maddison- yes I'm totally obsessing over every twinge in my body. I'm only 6dpo but I have abdomen aches and pokes, a sore right bb and tiredness. Sort of odd, but signs I got with both last pgs too is a killer pain between my shoulders and clumsiness (dropping things, walking into doors etc.) anyone else get these?
I get my hpts online. You can get them from a few sites and they detect HCG at 10miu which should give an earlier result. If you google early pg tests you'll find them not sure who has the best deal at the moment.

    Stay sane my TWW buddies
