Just wanted to put my toe in the water after lurking for a while! I thought it was only fair as it has helped me to read about everyone's experiences. I lost my baby at about 12 weeks on 9/9/09. I started bleeding at 9 wks. Multiple scans kept showing all looked good (hb ok) then the baby died a couple of days before my 12wk scan. So glad I hadn't told everyone yet...Didn't mind people knowing about my miscarriage but I was glad I didn't have to 'untell' them about my pregnancy en masse and could do it in my own time.

Problems continued after my d&c. I kept bleeding for 3 wks. 2nd d&c. Kept bleeding and scan showed 'retained product' so i had a 3rd d&c in Nov (obgyn said little choice for me). I bled for another 6wks after that and only stopped in Dec (3mths after baby died) when i passed the last of the products of the pregnancy (sorry if tmi). Dr thinks I had a placenta accreta (placenta grew into lining of womb) which is why d&cs weren't successful. I was desperate to try again straight away but couldn't while bleeding. Then after so many procedures i was told to wait another 3 months.

So here i am... it's my EDD early next week and have just finished 1st mth TTC. No BFP but at least cycle seems regular.
