    Hello all
    Ferrals so sorry you have AF too she is a biatch this month comming when shes not wanted to you and me oh well look on the bright side we get to be on nearly the same cycle again ! well if my damn body decides to play the game and not muck about anymore ! Have a question If i press m on my monitor is that it the start of a new month and is it even worth trying the cbfm anymore my hormones are obviously up the swanny and not behaving themselves !
    My son and DIL have gone for their first scan today ! I feel really bad that I still can't be happy about it what is wrong with me I used to be so sensitive to other people now I am a grumpy bad tempered old cow !
    When you let rip that was just like me the other day I was crying saying why oh why of why I didn't even get a TWW this time ! Guess I am counting again now !
    T hopes congrats on the job glad you feelin better and glad I am not the only wifey who nearly killed her DH this weekend SHAME I feel so bad now he is 45 tomorow and has to put up with my shi*.
    By the way ordered some chinese medicine a 50 day supply supposed to get my cycles regular and my bleeding under control and hopefully ovulating on time or at all would be a bonus !
    Mumof4 great blood results told you you will be ok keep thinking positive !

    Will pop back later love to you all !

    Mathewsmum-the meds will supress O but as the follicles grow your body still reacts because it knows that O is comming so you will still have all the fertile signs its just the meds stop the actual eggs from releasing until you have the trigger injection.

    Crafty-AF is not here yet but with the period pain i am having wont be long it is usual for me to have two days of cramping before she turns up and she is due tomorrow.
    And yes when you press the M it is the beginning of a new cycle and if i were you i would still use it because if you do have a normal cycle you dont want to miss that egg if you still have a mucked up cycle this month then maybe stop the CBFM until your cycle settles down with the herbs you brought then try again.
    It must be hard knowing your son and DIL are going for their scan it will be alright you will put on a brave face for them you are a mum and know how to get through it even if we don't want to.

    Murrycod-Thinking of you hope you are doing ok.

    AFM-well i caved and poas and of course a BFN so happy Bday to me on friday NOT!!!
    DH and i ordered our chinese herbs from the US because we can only get them in AUS if we see a naturopath and pay all the consult charges so we found a US company that do it all on line so i got super fertility #2 which has all the chinese herbs to help fertility and egg quality and it has been proven to lower FSH levels i also got the anti stress one which worked when i got it here in Aus and we got DH mens fertility which has chinese herbs for sperm quality and it has Don Quay (i think thats how its spelt) in it i can take that to as it helps egg quality and cell production so all up $112 where here in AUS i would have paid $110 consult fees then $120 for the tablets so a fair bit cheaper only problem is with our customs being very strict it can take 2-3 weeks to get to us so in time for next AF.

    Ferrals: Cramping means lots of things, some ppl swear AF is coming only to get a BFP on DPO 14 or later. Didn't you say you O'd later than usual this cycle? It's really good that you got the herbs for cheaper. And vent all you want, this is the place for it!

    Crafty: Hooray for herbs! And my grandmother had my mother at 46, her sisters asked for another boy to help out more (they lived on a farm) so the boy part didn't go so well, but they were happy, lol.

    MatthewsMum: Good luck for the scan on friday! Hopefully we hear about lots of fat juicy eggs!

    Possum Magic: Oh it sucks when youdon't get the reassurance you want! I think trust your body, you think you O'd, so you probably just missed the surge. Have fun BD!

    MillyD: Probably just too early hun, it depends on when the little chicken implants as to when it shows up, and sometimes they can take a few days to get all good and snug.

    Ric: Congrats on the new job! Yay!

    AFM: Still going crazy. DH is home for easter holidays, so he spent yesterday playing computer games and I spent it indulging myself in looking up BFP symptoms and trying to figure out where in my cycle I am. I had a bit of EWCM yesterday, and apparently that can happen about 7 DPO? Cos estrogen does a bit of a rise before she goes for the big dip. Had some cramping, but that could mean anything! Has anyone heard of the yellow booties good luck thing? If you put yellow (has to be yellow) booties out in the house, or in your wallet/purse, then it's meant to be good luck for TTC. I brought a pair the month I got Splat, so I've put them out in the house again. C'mon yellow booties, do your thing! If I could knit with any degree of competence, everyone in here would be all yellow bootie'd up. Love to everyone! xo

    morning all
    ferrals - sorry darlin, about your bfn but great to hear about the herbs on their way! My chinese doc is so cheap so i am very lucky! I pay $55 for acupunture and 1 hour appt + $45 for herbs which last about 10days, i take different ones depending on where I am in my cycle. she mashes them up herself depending on the person and their problems! So I hope they arrive for you soon and they help!
    kit - no havent heard of the bootie thing! I'll give anything a shot though!!!
    crafty - dont feel guilty for your feelings about your son. its perfectly normal for someone in our position to feel envious or jealous or wonder why not me?? its just what you do with those emotions....
    mummyof4 - terrific news lovey!! so so happy for you! keep the updates coming!
    possum- hope you caught that egg lovey! im going to see my doc next week for some of that reassurance too! coming on 7 months of ttc for us and starting to worry myself!

    afm - well day2 of a new cycle.... very boring! But on the up side i have a great great flow!!! I had forgotten what a good period was, its been so long! Im just so happy that I went and saw this chinese dr! just blows my mind that she has got me to have 2 normal periods straight away! DH took me to the movies last night - saw 'She's outta my league' was a good laugh! just what we needed!
    My g/f told me i should get the 21day blood test to see if everything is ok? can someone explain this to me?? She said they take 16 viles or blood!!! Gulp!

    ferals-sorry i was no help to you,i hope you don't mind if i throw a ivf ? at you or other lovely ladies what might know-i have lots of white ,stretchy cm which i think usually indicate'o',but isn;t the gonal injections supposed to supress o'ing,until later,my follicle scan not till friday,scared i'm going to before then or have 'o'd'.
    Just to reassure you it is HIghly Unlikely that you can O when your stimming for IVF, the Gonal F doesn't suppress ovulation, it stimulates your follicals to produce more eggs.

    I was once worried about this myself and I asked my FS - and he was not worried at all when I had ewcm

    morning everyone-ferrals-sorry you got a bfn,even when you expect it ,it still hurts & is frustrating.Bargain with the herbs,good shopping.Thanks for the info...crafty-hope the chinese meds work a treat.Try not to be hard on yourself about feelings towards your ds &dil,i think when you hold your grandchild in your arms ,you'll be flooded with good feelings,there will be a bit of crafty in him/her....kitfaerie-on the search for yellow booties now...t-hopes-good sign af is back to normal.Ihad day21 bt when i was on clomid,checking time of 'o' it was usually only 1 or 2 viles.I've heard you can have extensive testing down'16 viles',searching for reasons for loss.Ithink they are recommended for recurrent loss but you could always ask dr about it...wouldloveabubba-glad you decided to join in chatting,thanks for the info.What stage of your cycle are you up to?wishing you the best of luck,sorry to read of your previous losses...dory- good to hear from you

    THopes - your g/f is probably talking about the blood test they do for elevated activity of natural killer cells. They do the test between days 21 and 26 from memory and if the nk cells are elevated it can cause implantation failure and miscarriage.

    Kitfaerie-I put yellow and white booties under my pillow the month i fell pregnant with abbi how bizar i will have to put them back.

    DH and i just packed away all the baby things we took the cot and change table down and put it away going through all the baby stuff looking for the yellow booties made me just not want to see it so i guess that is it i won't touch it or look at it again until i am either pregnant or decide to sell it or god forbid my son makes me a nanna (please no not yet).

    wouldloveabubba - welcome to this thread! the gals here are fab. all the very best for your IUI. fingers crossed xx
    millyd - oh sweetie... i know how you feel, your today was my Sunday and i was so crushed too! I spent the day on the couch balling my eyes out and its ok to do that today. But... tomorrow is a new day and it will be better, even if its on a tiny bit... Tomorrow, pick yourself up and dust yourself off... there is plenty left in you because there has to be... cause we know that if its a baby we really want, then we have to keep fighting! No matter how many battles we have to lose, we will eventually win one and thats why you have to keep going!!! You can and will do it! Just think... in a bout 13 more sleeps you will be o'ing again, tick the days off the calendar (i find this helps) gives me a count down cause a full month looks very daunting so break it down! Look after yourself ok, AF has started and there is nothing you can do, dont add more stress. accept it and focus on your next cycle
    trea, missk, matthewsmum, thanks for the info!

    xx

    T - Hopes - Your GF would be talking about Progesterone on CD 21, when she talks of the 16 vials of blood, they test for the following list below and sometimes more. Generally speaking they test for the following after 3 m/c, though you can push for testing erlier, and if you have an obliging FS they will test earlier, I said I was not prepared to wait for another loss, when they could quite simply take the blood

    * MTHFR homozygosity
    * anti- beta II glycoprotein
    * prothrombin gene mutation 20210A
    * anticardiolipin anitbody
    * plasma homocysteine
    * antinuclear antibodies
    * prothromin 3
    * protein C
    * Free protein S (antigenic)
    * RVV test
    * Delta KCT
    * Lupus anticoagulant
    * Factor V Leidin

    Hi Everyone,

    Ric - Congratulations on the new job!
    Millyd - It sucks when Af shows up, but it is a new beginning of a new month, I hope Af is kind to you and leaves early~!
    Wouldloveabubba - Welcome, I wish it was under better circumstances but Im sure you will feel as comfortable here as I now do, everyone is so caring!
    T - Hopes & Missk - I think we notice every single pregnant belly whenever we leave the house because we want it so bad, Im also noticeing that the "friends" I had before mc avoid me now too, but i think I prefer it that way.....
    ferrals - I had to pack away everything straight after the mc because I couldnt bare to look at it, I hope it isnt much longer before you are asking Dh to put it all together again and are frantically washing baby clothes.
    Crafty - Big hugs to you! Im thinking of you.
    Kitf - How long until POAS?
    AFM - I think we missed our window this month....couldnt work out when O was excatly, so maybe next month....might try and get a bit healthier in between hehe. But with easter this wkend i dont see that happening.

    xxx

    Good Afternoon,

    This is the first time that I have posted anything so I hope I am putting this in the right place. I am hoping that someone can help or offer a little bit insight into things that are going on with me. I have had 4 miscarriages in 12 months. I have had a successful pregnancy. I had all the tests done after the second loss, consequently, I am now on megafol, progesterone, oroxine and using clexane once I have a BFP. My question really revolves around what is happening with my cycle. After ovulation has been detected then I experience spotting for approximately 10 days before my actual period. In some way I feel that there is a relationship between the spotting and the fact that I cannot carry past about 7 weeks although my specialist says that is not the case. This is the second specialist that I have seen and I feel that he is doing a lot more than my previous one. Also my cycle used to be 28 days on the dot and now, for some reason it has changed to a 21 day cycle for the last 18 months. Sorry if it seems like I am rambling but I am so confused. I have no trouble conceiving just carrying. Has anything like this happened to anyone else and, if so, what did you do to achieve a successful full term pregnancy.

    T-hopes: Whole new cycle babe, go get it! xo

    Wouldloveabubba: Welcome, sorry for what brought you here, but we're happy to have you!

    Dory: Yay! I always smile when I see your name, it's going quick!

    MatthewsMum: Good luck with the hunting!

    MissK: Yup, preg vitamins are awesome, I inflict them on DH too, his taste worse than mine, which I approve of considering all the needles and dildocam's we get subjected to! Mwahahahaha.

    Ferrals: Put those booties back under your pillow! Quickly! Then put away all the other clothes until you need them. Think positive.

    MillyD: Oh darlin, ouch! I'm so sorry. Lots of hugs for you! xoxoxo

    Bons: Being happy is important too! Enjoy easter. I hope you get a sneaky BFP, and if not then schedule lots and lots of BD'ing! As for POAS, the thought terrifies me, lol. Considering my cycle is probably still out of whack I'm gonna wait as long as I can. If I haven't gotten AF in a week I might POAS. I only have two in the house, and not allowed to buy more (I did suggest buying 9, so I could use one each day, but DH didn't approve, he gets sooo nervous when I test I really think if I did it everyday for 9 days the poor man would have a heart attack.)

    AFM: Oh I really dont know! Some sore boobage going on, some cramping. All consistent with AF arriving as well. Next cycle, totally gonna temp and get me some herbs. Trying to deal with the thought of not having a baby in 2010, it just tears me up that it might not happen. 2011 is not so bad. Really. It's not. Deep breaths.

    Love to everyone! xoxo (Even the lurkers, you know who you are)
