Sorry to hear about the passing of your little boy. So sad your story and i know you want all the answers you can get.

............. Do any of you know if the baby could have contracted this infection, but not me? ......

i guess you will be asking the doctors this one ! I was very sick at about 30 weeks with a cough/cold that i couldn't shrug off....thinking i couldn't take anything i left it....but after a week or so i went to the doc's and they said you MUST take antibiotics as the sickness CAN harm the baby. Thank god i did as i didn't realise how bad it could affect them. My baby died though due to labour problems (but you just wonder....)
