hahahahaha that is hilarious!!! So does it actually work for ovulation prediction or is that a crock? I'm gathering from your original comment that it isn't real accurate.
I'd read somewhere that there was a way of predicting via saliva... now I knowI have learned today!
I've discovered maybe baby works better if you lick it rather than put a fingertip of saliva on it. Thanks Sallyk61 - for that tip! I never had any luck with it before that and had it for ages and never used it. But then I used it and licked it instead and that is the cycle we conceived.
evening all
i feel so sick, i woke up this morning feeling sick, then felt little better during the day, but i just had greasy dinner the worset fish n chips ever ( too many take outs this week) and now i fell like i wanna
hellopoppy, Greenslw, Sunbeam, sunny, Smallfryplus, coco, Mel, cherished and anyone else i missed!
Gee i dont know where to start with the personals
My brain is not functioning, lol.
I will have to do personals later hubby wants the computer,![]()
Good evening girls
coco-OMG that is hystericalI am totally going to try that with my Maybe Baby. I found it pretty crap at its proper job, so glad I'll get some fun out of it at least

A friend of mine used hers as her sole predictor of ov for 7 months she then threw it out and conceived the next month!
cherished- I'm glad you are still popping in even if you're not feeling great. We are still here for you that does not stop just because you're pregnant.
Anila- hope you are feeling better.
ya finally a use for maybe baby totally useless otherwise
HI everyone:
So many posts ...
I couldn't access BB for a couple of days (computer probs).
Welcome Grake and Kiwigal, I am so sorry for your losses.
Smallfry -
"people suck. I've been trying to tell everyone that for years! No-one believes me though. You could always put them to shame and just lose the plot in front of them, yell, scream, cry, tell them exactly what you've been through and then storm out and refuse to talk to them until they apologise" (not doing the proper quote thing, computer being an arse).
I love it, yes, people do suck!!! And that is my next planned response!! Along with "when are you going to loose weight?" to a really fat cousin, just to rub in something hurtful and nasty (am I a bad person?)
Coco - re your question about family. I have "cut" members of my family, I have nothing more to do with them. If you want to discuss further, pls email me. Sometimes though, I think you do just have to let go. At the time, it seemed so hard, and then after it was done, it was like "why didn't I do that before?" like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Good Luck.
Oh, and the maybe baby thing - ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!
Hello to all the other ladies, too many to mention by name now - hello everyone !!
AFM - I have a couple of questions ladies:
- If I had ov pain for 2 days, would I have ov'd on the first or the second day of pain? Or the day after the pain? (I didn't temp).
Even using the OPK, CM and fertility friend, it gave me a two - three day range for ovulation and I am concerned then that my luteal phase might be too short (how short is too short for sustainable pregnancy anyway???).
I'm wishing I had of used OPK this month, and that I had been temping before.
I did by a thermometer today, so here goes, though I'm not sure how I will go with waking up at different times. I am waiting for AF - any day now, so will start next cycle.
baby dust and sticky vibes everyone!!
LMAO at the maybe baby thing I want to try it!
I actually had sucess using it, i fell pregnant the first month I used it. So hopefully works this time round too![]()
HI ladies
gee i had some catching up to do i've been busy with moving changing phone ,elec ,gas, ect over to new house and work (yuk!)
I borrowed a mabye baby after 4 mths of ttc then the first month i used it i was pregnant so after i lost abbi i brought one which hasn't been real accurate last mth i'm thinking cause of my pregnancy hormones seeing i still have a bit of milk happening so i will try it this month and i will try DH ##@# on it to have a look at the little wrigglers.
Coco-my mum is awsome 90% of the time but can be judgemental when it's not wanted but my sister inlaw the one who's pregnant i want to headbutt slap or just knock out is ##@@### me off she had the hide to go off and blame my mum for telling people she was pregnant before she got to 12 week's when it was me that guessed as she was obvious when not drinking ect. so i mentioned it and asked my mum and she was'nt going to lie to me after what i had just been through so my sister in law got the sulks and went off at my mum and made her cry and made out she would'nt be included when this baby is born so i WENT OFF BIG TIME and said how dare you be so petty over such a trivial thing we just lost our daughter and granddaughter (my mum was in the delivery room with me) in such a traumatic way that you would have no idea as to how it feels to hold your dead baby in your arms and to have to organise her autopsy and cremation and you stand here *****ing because people found out early that you are pregnant with a perfectly healthy baby OH MY GOD it's the end of the world i said get over yourself and wake up then i showed her the pictures of abbi and said when you go through this then you have the right to winge at my mum and i and told her i hope her baby comes out sideways and gives her hell and told her i never want to see her again maybe i over reacted but she can say sorry before i do .
Greenslw-i have a good feeling about this baby relax and enjoy.
Cherished1-your not selfish i would hate to see people leave this thread just cause they are pregnant i need you to encourage me and i would hope when i get pregnant i could stay in this thread at least until i get through the genetic tests give me the all clear.
Anyway im off to bed been at work all day to all the ladies i missed i will make up for it later
Thanks sunbeam & ferralsI really needed confirmation that it's ok for me to be here... It's so weird because obviously after being in this thread you don't feel 'too' confident until you get through the 1st trimester... There almost needs to be a thread for the 1st trimester after loss iykwim... It's nto fair to have a big long fear based post about all your feelings to woman who are ttc... even though you understand... I should just be HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY and not worry and just be dam happy that I am actually pregnant now! Which I am... Oh GOD I am totally hormonal
ferrals I can't believe you SILhow dare she! arrrgggg
I've gotta run to work now sohello to all of you other beautiful girls xoxoxo
Cherished1-I want us all to stay when we get our BFP as i still have to wait until 10 -12 weeks for a C.V.S and exstensive ultra sounds to give me the all clear and if it turn's out the next baby is effected who am i going to lean on for support it will be a very horrible 12 week wait so the ladies who have had early misscarriages it would sort of be the same feeling (is it going to stick, will this one make it ) mine is will this baby have the genetic disorder or not so as far as i'm concerned we all should stay on this thread pregnant or not we all need the support.
I aslo wanted to let you all know we start moving today so my phone and broadband is being disconected they say it could take up to 3 days to get broadband back on so if you dont hear from me you know why it will kill me trying to catch up on all the post's and the goss so wish me luck with my move and dont forget me i will be back.
Hey Ferralsgood luck with the move! The new house will be great! And just think, you get to 'christen' all the rooms
hahahaha (ps. I think what you said to your SIL was completely acceptable and she needs to grow up)
I like the idea of staying in here til the end of the first trimester too. I understand what you're both saying (ferrals, cherished) about the fears of making it through and everything being ok. Even though I haven't gotten my ownyet, I am still scared of if it willl last when it does come and know that I will need the support from you gals in here. It only makes sense as you have all supported me through the last couple of months and know what is going on. This time round, I am even questioning telling hubby when I get a
and waiting a few weeks as it hit him really hard. He lost his older sister when he was a kid and has never gotten over it and I think losing the baby brought all that back up.
Milly - I dont' have an answer for you re ovulation. I have been crarmping on and off for several days now but still have no evidence of having ovulated and I'm day 18. This is around when I usually o so maybe it will show up in my charting?!!
Sunbeam - you asked about if it's too late in the cycle for a pg to happen or something the other day, I don't know if I've always o so late in my cycle but I have a 28 day cycle (without fail) so usually only around 10 days between O and AF, if it has always been this way then it mustn't be a prob cos with my two girls I fell pg just by being looked at it seems! And now, with DH I can't seem to fall and keep hold. Fingers crossed for this month!
Anila, how're you feeling today? Hope things are improving and you're not too sick
Good morning to everyone else - coco, grake, jules, sunny, mel... I know I'll miss some but you're still in my thoughts and wishing you all a happy day!
Hi Girls,
I have been wanting to post in here for a while but have been waiting until I was technically TTC again, had an early miscarriage last month (my first and first pregnancy). Was trying to be patient and wait til first "normal" cycle but I have had AF for 3 weeks straight after 1 week off so not sure whats going on (have dr appt this arvo).
It has been just over a month since my m/c and I still think about it every day, not just the loss of what could have been but the fear of trying again and what the future holds...I know you all understand.
Anyway, you all seem so lovely and supportive that I just had to say hello! Hopefully I will join your TTC club soon, in the meantime good luck to everyone!
KM1,come on in and join... you may as well wait for things to settle down here as anywhere else and you're right, the gals are great
I'm very sorry that your first preg has ended this way. It's hard to lose a baby at any time but I'm sure it's more difficult if it's your first pregnancy because it would add an element of doubt as to if you can ever get there again. I'm sure you will though and that it will just be a matter of time.

Hunni, im so sorry for your loss.
I understand about the fear of trying again, hubby and i jumped straight back into it, and im about 5-6 dpo now, and quietly freaking out cause i dont wanna loss the baby this time.
The ladies here are all very supportive.
afm, woke feeling queasy again this morning, and now i have another head ache, but really its way to early to tell if they are bfp sisns, although at the same stage with my last bfp, i had very similar signs.
Hello girls,
HI KM1- very sorry to hear about your loss I hope your cycle settles down soon. It is about 5 weeks since my second m/c and I still think about my baby every day too. There is lots of loving support here so you are in a good place.
Anila- My fingers are already crossed for you, lets keep those BFP's coming. When will you be testing?
AFM- lots of ewcm today will do OPK later so really hoping I'll be o'ing in the next few dayswould make sense if my cycle is doing what I think it is. Come on my beautiful little egg
you can do it.
I'm so glad the consensus seems that we can stay here for a while when we find out we're pg because I would not want to have to just leave. With what we have been through we will still be supporting each other with the worries our next pg will bring.
Is it common to not ovulate at all? I'm CD19 and am pretty sure I haven't ovulated yet and am wondering if I will or not. I guess it must be a fairly common thing and that it is one of the things that makes it harder to conceive. Just never thought I didn't ovulate every month. Maybe I will or have and just don't realise it. My temping seems to indicate that I haven't but I have experienced some, what I thought were, O pains... thinking next month I'll break out the OPKs for the first time and see if that helps identify things. Or maybe my temping is just unclear because I started half way through the cycle so I should just stop questioning it and just make like bunnies til AF is due!! haha
ps. hello everyone... and is it just me who was struggling with the downtime?!! lol such an obsession... always wondering how everyone is. Clearly Uni isn't keeping me busy enough!
