Oh Kit, I'm so sorry you had that awful day and THANK GOODNESS your DH was with you. I would be scared witless with the bleeding, you sound like you handled it very well, you are very strong. Firstly - so lovely that you heard a heartbeat!! And your levels sound great!! I just wanted to tell you there was a woman in my BB group who bled - lots, like you have described - and is still going strong with her pg. With her, they said it was from a blood clot near her cervix and wasn't anything to do with mc but she went through a terrible time worrying about it. I'm so relieved that your bleeding has stopped - please do what your mum says and lay down for as long as you can or need to! Trash TV is good - maybe not time for True Blood? (weak attempt to make you smile). I also believe chocolate would be very helpful at this point - and lots of cups of tea (did you read my post about Chocolate Chai...mmm, it is good and no caffeine). Big hugs to you lovely, yes and definitely I would go Friday - why wouldn't you? I didn't understand that at all. Knowledge is power and, I think, it gives us strength. You will have a positive scan and it will give you strength to believe all will be well. Lots of love to you x

MurryCod!!! Clever woman - I'm smiling ear to ear for you - been busting all day to get home and read how you are doing. WONDERFUL news - 5 blasties and counting and a lovely perfect little one snuggling in right now!!!! Well done!!!! We're here for your crazy TWW - god I hope it flies by for you, I think it's going to send me a bit mad waiting too!! Rest up and try to enjoy this time (remembering that you are pregnant until proven otherwise!). I had a little mantra I would say to myself last time I was in the TWW (and I made DH say it too) "hatch, attach and grow" "hatch, attach and grow". I'm saying it for you now! Sounds so hopeful for you xxx

Ric!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a beautiful Mothers' Day present!! Can't believe you could hold out on us for all those weeks!! Wonderful news - I hope you have a very happy and healthy pg x

Crafty - your turn next, then me!!

So for no more persies tonight, a bit brain dead and tired so heading off to bed.

AFM - had a really positive session with the TCM doctor today - she was very pleased with my chart, temps getting high and hormones seem to be evening-out. Diet is really agreeing with me (now I'm over my grumpiness and have got myself organised, I'm actually enjoying taking more time to cook and prepare yummy things for myself and still have had no sugar cravings which has made a huge difference to how I'm feeling). Still blissfully happy that have given the crap job the flick and no longer have to expend precious energy on it but can put some in reserve and last night I had a dream and in it DH was holding a baby in a harness and I was pushing a pram too! Twins!! That's how positive I'm feeling!! One, just one, will be more than enough for me.

    Sweet dreams all,

    Alice x

First of all- Ric- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What a great mothers day present!!! Be sure to keep us filled in with how u are going. Everything will be just fine for u x

Forshelby- God u make me laugh!!! haha and i thought i was crazy wanting to test now..AFTER i have o'ed!! ur wanting to test before u even have hahaha.. good on u girl.. love ur enthusiasm towards it all and yeah i reckon day 12, 14 and 16 shld be good for u to bd on.. i do reckon u shld get some opks tho if u do want to try really hard this month.. cos u cld be later..or earlier then that..especially since ur bding is on a weekend schedule lol.. or u might just have to seduce ur dp every 2nd nite until the end of ur cycle..just incase! And i know u just forgot, but thanks for rubbing it in about how i shld bd to keep my mind occupied.. my dh is working away!!!! Good one forshelby!! just cos u can have ur way whenever u want!! hahahaha, but nah hes back on friday for a week.. yay! so we'll be bding quite a bit i imagine. He doesnt ever let me get away with going one nite without it, even when he has 6 weeks off over xmas.. i actually look forward to him going away so i can have some time off! hahaha im glad he has a high sex drive tho, cos mine is almost non existent.. i blame it on being on bcps for so so many years!
Im on cd20 and around 5dpo.. im pretty sure i o'ed last thurs.. well according to opks i did.. but since i was randomly bleeding, im not really sure what was going on!! if im not pg this month all i can hope is that my af comes naturally in a weeks time and i can start seriously ttc next month! I am over my messed up body! I cant believe what the bcps did to me.. plus the mc didnt help at all either. But no i didnt find out why i was bleeding, cldnt be bothered trying to get an appointment with my gyno, i just figured that maybe the progesterone tablets i took a couple weeks ago to make me get af finally properly kicked in.. but who knows really.. i dont!!! all i can hope is that im either pg or my body does exactly what it shld next month!
Anyway i hope ur headaches go away soon.. drink heaps of water! x

Just a quick one from me, need to get to bed.. early start in the morning!

    Goodnite all xxx

Alice your dream is going to come true, just a matter of time, June/July is not far away, and I am going to be there through it all the way babe X
Glad your session today wen't well, and glad to hear all that hard work you are doing is paying off.
Oh I sooo wish I could quit my job. I think the only thing that keeps me going, is the hope of being able to take maternity leave withing the next....ah....seven months, but I feel like I am kidding myself.

Ric, wow you did hold out on us! Congratulations X

Forshelby, LMAO at you busting out the lingeree to have school night sex!!!!! OMG, 'sigh'.
Yeah those days sound pretty fine to me, I'd sneak one more in somewhere, to seal the deal X TBH, my sex life is non existent ATM. After the biopsy, I was in too much pain, then I got AF 4 days after that, got a few quickies in whils starting my injections, then became too sore again, post EPU, too sore, post ET, still a bit tender, more scared too!!! Didn't even get a look in, for my 30th Bday last week, that is totally depressing. The only thing my Bejayjay has seen on a regular basis for the past month is a speculum or dildocam.............ok now I'm depressing myself.......
    I'll move on.....

Crafty, so you getting in before me Huh??!!?? That's ok, you can test the waters first!! I'm too scared!

Dory, thanks for checking in on me, love to you XX

Reet, I had a dream the night before my ET, that I was at work, and did a full 8hr shift. Yeup, sick patients, showereing old people and all. Even the same biaaatches i hate to think about when I'm awake!! I woke up stressed out and totally exhausted from working in my sleep!!!

Kit, My Darling, promise me that you will take it easy XXX Love to you XXX

Girls, I know I don't wan't to bother you too early into this, but how am I mean't to hold any hope, when I am constantly cramping?? I hate cramping.

MurryCod my love I had really strong cramps in my TWW before getting our BFP, so strong that I was convinced AF was on her way. It is normal to have cramps, it doesn't mean this little embie isn't going to stick. Don't forget you will be physically exhausted from the last 10 days of injections and your egg pick up, not to mention a drive to and from Adelaide. You need to rest, as much as you can. I know my FS is happy to give me doctors certificates for as long as I need. Even if you can skip work just for the next two days to let yourself recover some energy that would be good. And don't feel guilty about it! You don't need to washing the oldies right now - I worked as a nurse assistant in a nursing home for years so I know how tiring and demanding that work is. Give yourself a break if you can. It's hard not to analyse every single twinge and pain, I know, just rest please and re-read Twilight and eat chocolate and know that there is nothing you can do now that you haven't already done - what will be, will be. And the fact you've had such excellent fertilisation rates and great little embies shows your body is ready and can do this - you are in with a good chance lovely, you are. Big hugs - you post as often as you need to. xxx

PS Bah about your sex life - it will come back! You've had five years TTC, a mc and three rounds of IVF - it's not exactly conducive to bding! Even if you feel like it you're too damn sore to think about it! When you recover from all the prodding and poking, you'll feel like it again. It's the least of your worries right now - lots of love and hugs is what you need. And chocolate. Did I mention chocolate?

Murraycod: Cramping is good, you tell that lil bubba to dig! DIG! And then stay there.

Alice: In tune with June sounds like it's gonna be on like Donkey Kong I did like the trueblood joke

Ric: Cheeky! LOL - so happy for you babe, I know it's hard, but believe, just believe.

Reet: Oooh 5DPO! We have such a love/hate relationship with our bodies, it's so hard to know what's going on! Trust though

Forshelby: LMAO, it'll be worth it love. But hold off on the testing! Good luck!

Ok, I'm gonna go lie down again. Love to everyone that I missed (Crafty! Dory! eep, everyone else!) Still no more bleeding, definitely going to scan on friday, knowledge is good

Reet - Your response gave me a good chuckle. I was lmao while making that post..... hahaha. At least I'm having fun with this. For now! And yes, I totally forgot your DH is away. Do you think I could blame it on pre-baby brain? lol. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I'm sure even with him being away, if he's randy enough to be giving you bd every night, you probably still have more sex than me! Now it's my turn to be sad... lol. I hope the random bleeding doesn't come back, and even moreso, I hope you're pg right now! If not, then yes, in tune for June sounds like a plan. I'm still focussing on yay for May though. I'm about to head out right now to run some errands, so it might be worth getting some OPKS. Should I, or shouldn't I......... I guess my bank balance will answer the question for me. I'll let you know what it decided for me. Haha. Oh, and I can't help it, but you're my favourite. We're close in age, too so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I can't explain it, you're just my favourite. Thanks for making me smile.

Murraycod - Don't feel bad about not having much bd lately, I figure you've done plenty of work in that department over the last 5 years. Let's call it a 'holiday from bd'. And try not to worry about the cramping. I too had intense cramps just before I got my BFP, and was so sure af was on her way i didn't test for a week! Those cramps continued but fairly mildly right up to 7w6d when I mc'd. I'm pretty sure it's all normal, but I know how worrisome it can be. Maybe it would help to imagine the cramping as your little one burrowing in? I can see it now, little embie with shovel in hand, digging away in there. No wonder you're cramping..... hehe

Kit - So good to see you're in higher spirits today. I'm really hopeful for you. I don't know why, I just have a good feeling about this. You can do it! Rest up, and take advantage of the excuse to sloth around a bit. I sure wish I had the opportunity to do it more. Pity my office chair doesn't recline further.

AFM, I'm having a pretty crap day pain wise. Still with the backpain. Today it's actually quite bad, and has got me a bit confused. Gee, confused. That's an original emotion on this forum, lol. I had some cramps too earlier so I'm not sure what's going on. Starting to feel a bit concerned, as endo runs in my family. For the last few months I've had some backpain and cramping on and off the whole month, but no heavy bleeding etc so I'm not hitting any panic buttons just yet. Anyone got any ideas what might be causing it??

    Hi T-Hopes

I have PCOS as well. FX you have O'd on your own. I'm also on clomid. It's very interesting to see your ovaries on the screen and actually see what they are talking about.

    Hi girls,
I was wondering if I could join your thread? I know Porsche from another thread (Hi!)
A bit about me; the abridged version.
PCOS, uterine polyp (removed feb 10)
3 m/c in the past year whilst on clomid & now on metformin, gonal f (FSH injections) and clexane (blood thinner) to begin when I fall pregnant
1 DS who's 3, conceived on clomid, perfectly normal pregnancy, emergency ceasar birth

I was mostly just wondering if anyone knows a good FS who either specialises in pregnancy after recurrent m/c or in PCOS? Mine's a bit of a dud on both accounts, unfortunately! (I'm not wearing "It's just bad luck..." as a response)
    Thanks guys

T-hopes - Sorry to hear about the PCOS. That really sucks. And the dildo cam.... although I can't help but giggle a little bit whenever I see those words. I hope you do indeed O soon, and best of luck with your tests!

Becnxavi- WELCOME! Of course you can join in, I'm technically a TTC noob, and the ladies here have been very welcoming to me. (Thanks, girls... ) I've been lurking for a long time though, so that's why I'm only a technical newbie. lol. I don't have any advice about your FS question, unfortunately... but I just wanted to say hi and welcome. I'm so sorry about your 3 mc's. One is hard enough imho. I couldn't imagine 3 in a row. My heart goes out to you. And one more thing. Xavier is a great name!

Reet - I ended up buying the OPKs. Exciting stuff! It turns out fate, (or perhaps the ATM) smiled upon me. Sometimes it's fun to make small decisions by leaving them up to fate. It sure helps save energy for the big ones, anyway. I have a 28-30 day cycle normally, so I'm going to go smack bang in the middle and start testing on day 12 as the instruction leaflet says. Oh how I enjoyed reading that little manual. It felt good to be holding OPKs and HPTs after such a long time waiting. I haven't told DP I got them yet, I don't know why but I'm nervous to tell him of my little shopping secret. For some reason, it feels naughty. I think I like it, too.... lol.

AFM, small update... the cramping and backpain subsided after I took a nap. I googled it (of course), and discovered you can suffer from cramps etc after coming off bc. It also explains the random nausea I had this afternoon. I thought I was giong crazy. Now I'm just waiting for some significant CM. Sorry for the tmi, lol.

    Have a lovely evening, girlies!

Hi Bec - welcome to the thread, lots of lovely women here so hope you find the support you need and have a few laughs along the way. Sorry can't help with Melbourne FSs but good on you for looking further afield - agree you shouldn't take 'bad luck' for an answer - you deserve better than that! I hope you find someone good. I've heard Melbourne IVF is v. good but don't know any names (think there might be a thread for this in the LTTTC forum - a sticky, I mean, so maybe have a look there? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere).

T-hopes that's v. upsetting for you to have a diagnosis - big hug. On the other hand maybe knowing there is an underlying problem is also good (I think unexplained infertility would be very difficult to deal with - well difficult in a different way IYKWIM?). I had endometriosis and a history of ovarian cysts, though not PCOS. A good friend with PCOS has just had her baby - there are a few medical and wholistic approaches to the treatment that you will probably want to look into. I have an excellent endo specialist who you could ring to get a name in Melbourne - he is a lovely man and very good - I had severe (grade 5) endo that has never returned after two ops to remove it all and if it is mild (and depending on where it is) some FSs recommend going straight to IVF rather than treating it as being pg will make it go away. I'm happy for you to PM me about it if you want to chat.

Possums - hi and thank you for your lovely post - we need some BFPs in here!

Foreshelby - I'm sorry you are feeling so unwell and would definitely recommend getting it checked out as you would know the earlier you get on to endo, the better the outcome. I didn't get diagnosed until I couldn't get out of bed and by then I ended up loosing a tube and an ovary, not to mention the debilitating effect of living with pain for so long and the stress it caused me in my job, relationship, and self. Proactive is good and it will settle your mind and might be something else entirely. Fingers crossed you are OK.

Kit - good luck tomorrow - glad you've got your feet up. Let us know how you go x

Reet - I'm sorry you are having this frustrating time - hope you are pg or that AF comes when you expect next month so you can get on top of this TTC thing. Good luck.

That's all from me tonight - been a long day and I'm v. tired. Hi to eveyone - thinking of you all,

    Alice x

becnxavi - sorry to hear of the tough journey that your on and for your losses, the girls in here are fab, you will feel very welcomed! They have helped me so much! In answer to your question about FS.... I saw my new FS today! Really thrilled with him! very knowledgeable and a lovely manner about it him. I got more from him today in 30mins today than I have from my 2 other gyns in 10mths since losing our bubs at 12wks! Not sure what part of melbs your in but his name is Dr Haider Najjer. He has his own website, so have a peek and see what you think! Let me know if you have any other questions! Oh and I was refered to him by my g/f who is doing IVF after 3 miscarriages. Hope this helps!

Porcshe - he said PCO but not PCOS as I dont have the other syndromes but the cycstic ovaries?? does that make sense?? I had about 16 follicles on each ovary??! Dont know a great deal about the PCO/S thing! Do you O by yourself or only when on Clomid?

Murraycod - i have everything so tightly crossed for you!

Alice! Hello! so happy to hear things are great with TCM doc! Fab news! ANd even fab'er news about the dream! Life is so much easier when your mind is kind huh! Stress is the devil! We become our own worst enemies sometimes, glad to hear your feeling merrier! xx

forshelby - thanks love, yeh worried about the ovaries but then again its just good to have a bit of an answer! feeling nervous about my laproscopy more than anything! Ah well, hoping it brings us a step closer! glad your cramping has eased for you xx

ferrals - i hope your doing better xx

crafty - hope you caught that egg!
afm - i dunno - just a bit meh! i should be happier than i feel cause the ball is rolling but cant help but feel the ball has 'rolled' away! Ah the joys of TTC emotions! What will be, will be! Whats really crapping me off is my temp not rising! I get so cranky in the morning... i guess i am so worried that i didnt O this month

Thanks so much for the info Alice & Forsehlby! I'm seeing a doc at Melbourne IVF and I'm sure he's great at the IVF part but I need someone who specialises in my stuff IYKWIM. I will google that doc T-hopes! Also the PCO vs PCOS is just relating to how many symptoms you have. Other than polycystic Ovaries you also have no ovulation, no periods, excess hair, insulin resistence and skin tags or a combination of at least 3 of these to have PCOS. That's the only difference. HTH!

    Hello All!

Yay its officially my bday!! And possum magics!! Happy Birthday to us!

Murraycod- U must hold ur hope! I think it was kit that said.. just imagine ur baby digging!! its all going to be good! u have to stay positive. I actually want to start mildly cramping.. its around that time for me that my bub shld be implanting! bring on cramping and implantation bleeding!! I can just imagine how ur feeling though.. u wld be feeling absolutely everything that is going on in that body or urs.. ur poor body has been thru a lot.,. and ur poor mind! Just have a few days to relax if u can. U sure do deserve it. Thinking of u alot. Really cant wait to see ur BFP.. it wont be long now!! yay!!! xxx

Kitfaerie- Glad ur bleeding has stopped. Stay on ur back a bit longer though.. just relax! make sure u let us know how strong lil tigers heartbeat is on friday!! very excited for u x

Forshelby- Pre baby brain???!! haha i might try using that when i say something stupid to my dh.. i dont think it will work though!! haha, he'll just be like 'marita ur f**ked!' haha and i hope im pg this month, u cld still make it!! yay for may!! what cd are u now?? I love reading the little manuals too!! haha i read them still all the time when i do a test now.. just to refresh my memory. haha its all so exciting!! I even read the long info leaflets u get in clomid etc.. its my reading material before going to sleep.. as u can probly tell.. i love information!! i go crazy googling!! I think im like u.. after m/c, i self helped myself using the internet.. it was good Love that u feel 'naughty' buying opks and hpts.. are u going to keep it a secret for a little longer?? If u dont feel ready to tell ur dp ur little secret just yet.. maybe just wait a month.. suss out what ur body is doing on ur own first.. and then in the next couple months u can start opening up more..especially if this is all a bit new to him.. and a bit scary still. Lets hope ur UTD in no time at all tho.. throw ur dp in the deep end! Im glad good old google has helped u to find out why ur aching and sick feeling.. what wld we do without it! Happy ur feeling better, and i hope that ewcm starts flowing freely soon!!! x

T-hopes- Sorry to hear u have pco.. alot of women do have it though, it is very very common so u shld be fine. When i was having troubles after going off bcp's my ordinary dr told me i had pcos, i went for ultrasound etc and she said that i had cysts on my ovaries.. i went to gyno then though and he said i didnt, he said it was common to have follicles on ovaries (im not sure how many follicles i had tho) but yeah he did some blood tests on me and said my hormone levels and everything indicated that i didnt have it. Im glad u are fianlly getting to the bottom of it all, even though it does seem like u have to go thru a lot of tests etc to find out the real problem. U'll be right though. Maybe all u need is clomid and everything will be fine!! I knew it!! U shld just be seeing me.. ill medicate u!! let us know when u get blood test results back, hopefully u have already o'ed! but if not clomid will fix that (haha as u can tell.. im clomids #1 fan!) good luck, thinking of u x

    Hi Ladies

    Hi Bec!

T-Hopes - Not sure what the difference is with PCOS and PCO. I'll have to google. I guess I could O by myself as I have already had 2 children but I have never known how to get pregnant. That sounds really dumb I know but YKWIM? I struggled for 2 years to gt pregnant with my first but by the time I thought "hmmm something's not right here" I was pregnant with my son.

After his birth I went back on birth control for a few months. I came off of the pill thinking it would take me another 2 years to get pregnant and bam I was pregnant with my daughter. I think after giving birth my hormones kicked in and made everything work regularly for the first time. didn't last though.

So I guess I'll never know if I was actually O'ing on my own leading up to clomid. I know that I have O this last month after the M/C because I had heaps of EWCM and my temp rose and now I'm spotting and that for me is a sign that AF will most likley be here tomorrow on time according to my FF chart.

I'm guessing I have the PCO not the syndrome as I don't have any symptoms except the irregular AF's. I'm not overweight, no excess hair, acne etc... All though darn the clomid for the extra 5kg lol.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Reet & Possum! Many happy returns for you.
