Forshelby- OMG I am so excited that you are 9dpo already, not to make you too excited to but that is when a few people get their second line, of course it can still show a false bfn that early. I wish mine would show early, the earliest I got a bfp was after 7weeks lol, hang in there and I cannot wait to find out your results in a few days
Don't take what your friend said as anything to go by, perhaps she is somewhat jealous. She had no right for saying it under any circumstances anyway.
Oh and blue veins in the breasts is a sign hehe.

Kit- It is ok for symptoms to come and go, it does not mean that your lil tiger is not striving, how far are you now? perhaps the placenta is starting to pick up a lil slack, that tends to decrease the Mother's symptoms. I fully understand you being worried, I know when I was pg with my lil man that anything would set me off especially in the first trimester. I remember when I was a lot further along that I called an ambulance because I felt that something was wrong but everything was perfectly fine.

Sending you both and all other bellies sticky vibes and everyone TTC baby dust

AFM- I only just started checking temp and so far I am usless lol, I always forget. I am sure that once I get into the routine of it I will be able to start properly charting. I mainly go by CM and that usually gives me a good indication as to O day but with my body being so screwy lately I don't trust myself.
Unemotional me (normally anyway) just bawled my eyes out in front of my Mother of all people all because my lil sister is fat (so is everyone else in our family) and I was like WTF why am I crying this is just so wrong.... now tonight my lower back really hurts lol.

Firstly, thanku everyone for all ur well wishes.. i know u all understand how hard it is to see that bfn... like someone else said.. u stare and stare at it hoping that line appears but it doesnt. I feel a lot better now, especially after gyno appointment this arvo. I will do persies first then update u on wats going on with me!

Kit- Yep ive started pumping the maca again.. ive been on and off it for the last 6 months, but from now on.. im gonna go hard! especially if u put it down to ur bfp! im so glad ur doing so well.. pregnancy involves just 1 obstacle after the other! first u have to time it right, then tww, then testing, then check that hcg levels are going up.. then wait for scan to see heartbeat.. THEN wait for 12 weeks etc!! Ur getting there tho babe! ur over half way to 12 weeks! x

Forshelby- Can u pls pls pls test!!!!! Please!!! we are all so excited! if ur symtoms are this full on it will defintely come up positive if ur UTD!! obviously ur hormones are going crazy!!! Yay!!! Im so jealous (in a nice way ) that ur body is being so kind to u after going off bcps.. a year down the track mine hasnt sorted itself out! And to answer ur question of how long ive been trying natural.. i havent really tried it at all. Once i went off the pill last may i got 1 period and then didnt get another one for 4 months, i then got 1 but it stuck around for 12 weeks!! drove me insane! went to my normal dr and she said to go back on bcps to settle hormones down.. WHAT THE??!! i got a referral to gyno who put me on clomid to make bleeding stop and to help me to 'o'. I fell pg after 2 cycles of it, miscarried and ever since then my body has been a mess again!
Oh i hope ur pg!! Are u defintely going to wait til the weekend to test?? do u have the willpower???

Alice- sad to see u go good that u will still be lurking tho. I hope u get a sneaky bfp before the 4 month mark.. if not tho the next few months will go pretty fast i think. Why do u have to wait that long to do ivf??? Good luck x

Ionamacca- Oh i hope the rest of the tww goes quickly for u! when will u test.. early or wait til af is late??

Possum- OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! i hope that line keeps getting darker and darker... yay yay yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! pls keep us posted!!! x

Damprye- U poor thing.. sounds like ur body is giving u a hard time as well. Hope it sorts itself out soon or even better gives u a sneaky bfp!!

Matthews mum- oh its all happening! good luck with the following few weeks.. hope everything goes to plan.

A big hello to everyone else!!!!!

AFM- Well as i said earlier i went to gyno this arvo, he basically told me that the progesterone pills i took kicked in later then expected so when i was meant to be 'o'ing i actually got af and the clomid pills i took mustn have been effective in making me 'o'.. basically my body is going to do what it needs to do..regardless if im packing it with drugs! so i have another week to wait for af to come, hopefully it does if not then it REALLY means my body is stuffed! at the moment its just a little slow.. its all so confusing! if i wasnt so desperate to have a baby it wld be alright..much less stressful.. i cld let my body do whatever it wanted to do to sort itself out! As for dh's sperm test.. there was good news and bad news.. good news being he has a very high sperm count, bad news being he has quite a high rate of abnormal sperm, but the gyno said it can all be reversed within the next 4-6 wks if he makes a few lifestyle changes.. quit smoking etc. Im so happy with the results, this is DEFINTELY dh's wakeup call.. hes always thought hes invinsible and he wld never have trouble conceiving.. this is exactly what he needed. He jokingly said tonight.. the race is on! lets see who can get there bodies ready the quickest!! Even tho its not his sperm that has been the problem with us falling pg atleast we are sorting it now rather then waiting til my body is sorted and then wondering why we are having trouble and then having to wait til he was all good.
    So yes thats my update..
Now just waiting for af.. hurry up already!!!
    Goodnite xx

Reet - so glad that you got some answers to help you get that BFP. Isn't funny how our partners always have to make something competitive but if it gets them moving let them think that way. Not sure if I will test early as DF goes to melb on the 11th for the long weekend and isn't back until the tuesday so I'll see may test over the long weekend and give him a surprise when gets home.

damprye - i temped with TTC#1, once you get in the hang of it it all comes naturally, when i use to first wake i would reach over for the thermometer and stick in the mouth and go back to sleep hehe. Now a days I find it difficult as every night is different with DS, he either stirs a few times thru the night or sleeps thru so i don't bother hence the reason i went to opk's

oh forshelby, the weekend is getting closer!!!

    Hi to everyone else

AFM - still not much to report hehe only 4dpo

Damprye - That friend of mine is in her late 50's, so I don't think her comments were motivated by jealousy. Probably more because she's a bit of a mother figure to me, she's trying to protect me from disappointment. At least that's how I chose to take it. In her day, there was no 2WW, they were probably using the frog test, still! (I heard from an older woman they used to inject your urine into a frog and if it was dead by morning, you were pg.... dont know whether to believe that one!!)

Reet - Are you peer pressuring me to test? LOL.... don't you tempt me! I was staring at the calendar today trying to find excuses to test early. I can understand your frustration that your body is being such a pain, and mine is being relatively kind to me. I hope you know that if I could give you my well behaved hormones, I would. Honestly. I don't think I would be strong enough to endure such a wait. You're definitely brave. And YES, I think I have the willpower to wait until at least Saturday to test. I am slightly tempted, but I would feel so let down seeing a BFN. Especially after all the 'symptoms'. I'm beginning to question the whole thing now though. I keep flip-flopping. Maybe I should test to put myself out of my misery? AF isn't officially due until Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. Also, I'm really glad your DH has his butt into gear now, and find it amusing he's turned it into a competition. Lol, men... I hope you beat him, just to stick it to him. And of course because you've been the one doing all the suffering! Good luck!

Iona - It's so cute that you're all excited for me to test. I hope I don't end up with a big let down for you at the end of the week.

AFM, I'm still flip-flopping bigtime! At the start of this post, I thought my symptoms had faded a bit and was feeling a lot less hopeful. Now, roughly 5 minutes later, I've got that slight ache in my boobs again. ARGH! I don't feel as sick as I have the last couple of days, so I don't know what to think.

I know I'll definitely miss some, but here are my 'new' symptoms for today.
-boobs still feel bruised around the outsides, vaguely sore on and off during the day, but not as much as I'd hoped.
-Nausea last night before bed, and when I woke up to let our furbaby out for a whiz. I actually thought I might throw up, but fell asleep so obviously wasn't that bad.
-Still hungry. Just HAD to have some chicken nuggets as soon as I got home from work today. I was begging DP for a cheeseburger, but he told me to cook up some nuggets when I got home instead. Lucky for him they hit the spot.
-feeling hot in the middle of the night, (has been happening for several nights but I wrote it off thinking I was over-dressed. Not the case last night....)
    - and the big one for me right now is the 'tightness'. I have this strange tight feeling across my pubic bone. I feel like my muscles are constantly tense, or like something is pulling my uterus every which way.

That pulling sensation has been almost constant today, so I still have hope. In fact, I haven't ever had that as part of my PMS. If I move the wrong way or too fast, it's like a sharp cramp. And today sitting at my desk at work, I felt like I couldn't get comfortable. No matter which way I shuffled around in my seat, I felt like my lower abs (actually lower than that) were constantly tense. It was quite uncomfortable. Still, trying not to get too hopeful and test too early! Though I think for a treat, I might have a squiz at one of my tests, and get it in the 'ready' position. (Under the bathroom sink) LOL.

Please let the weekend come quickly! Oh, and DP's grandma and other family members are coming to visit from Melbourne on the 13th, so I REALLY hope I have some good news for them. Especially grandma. She's 91, and would be absolutely thrilled to be a great grandma for the 6th time. Now, to go and fondle that test a little. LOL

Okay Reet, despite my better judgement I tested. BFN. Not even a hint of a faint line. Damn you FRER! It's so late in the day, I hope it's a false neg. Ironically though, my boobs are tingly/sore again after taking it.

Feeling frustrated. And suddenly, I feel like I need to POAS in the morning now, too. I didn't enjoy seeing only one line, though. I think I should resist the urge until AF is late. Please be a no show, AF.... Come on Saturday! I can't believe I blew it and tested so early. Now I have this feeling that all these symptoms mean nothing. Don't know what to think.

Please tell me some of you have had false BFNs before a BFP. (Like I did last time)

Oh forshelby im sorry.. ur first post made me crack up tho.. i thought theres no way u will just be able to fondle the test and not use it haha.. i cant have tests in the house without using them.. im never buying any ever again until af is late cos they drive u absolutely crazy! i hate them. But ur 2nd post stopped my laughing.. i think its too early.. was it a first response test?? they can come up positive for some women earliest 5 days before af.. so ur only just that now.. maybe use ur next test tomoro morning so u have none left and then dont buy anymore til monday... atleast if u do it tomoro it cld still be too early so dont take too much notice if its a bfn.. there will still be hope. Kinda get what i mean?? And also if it is a bfn tomoro u will feel a bit sad so u wont WANT to test til af is due.. well thats what happened with me anyway...
U have to be pg!! ur symptoms are just so convincing!!!!! Good luck babe! and dont be sad.. it is still really early!! let me know how u go xxx

When I was UTD with DS I tested when I was late and got a BFN but then after another few weeks I got my BFP, he was there the whole time
I hope it is too early for you to test.

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for the congrats!

I'm sitting tight til Sunday to test again (2 days after AF is due) cos i'm hoping for a nice dark second line. A bit nervous because my symptoms were strong for a couple of days then eased off today (milder cramps, not much nausea). I suppose they could go up and down? I'm scared to see blood every time i go to the toilet.

Forshelby 9dpo is too early! I got a faint but clear BFP on about 11 or 12 dpo. You're still in with a chance. In the meantime you made me ROFL with your story about the frog test of pg! Also LOL at your test fondling...but like Reet i had a hunch that if you touched it you'd find it hard to resist peeing on it! LOL about having the test in the 'ready' position! I think it's really hard to know with symptoms sometimes. Every month i've been TTC i've had a few symptoms pre-AF and i've kind of gone 'am i aren't i' because a lot of symptoms feel a bit like AF and pg. But then when i had cramping the other day i thought 'oh, now that feels familiar, yeah that's it'. So i tested early.

Hope people don't mind me lurking a bit... i don't feel quite out of the TTC box until i've got a post-AF time good strong second line. But anyway i plan on lurking some more even after that to hear everyone's BFPs!

hi girls - just wanted to pop in and let you all know that im recovering slowly from my op. Had the op on Monday morn but ended up staying till Tuesday night due to low blood pressure and not being able to wee!! Had to have catheter!! Was so awful, took 3 nurses to get it in, they were hopeless!!! And of course now I have another UTI

Anyway procedure went well but they did find a big piece of endo (stage 3) near the bowel area.

always had problems and pains in that area, heavy, irregular/painful AF/ diarrhea etc - 4 Laproscopys later, i finally get an answer! I have endometriosis!!! I feel so much relief, it wasnt all in my head!!

FS said everything else looked pretty good, flushed my tubes and all that stuff... he said to start trying again this month! We see FS again in 8 weeks for follow up appt and he said hopefully you will be UTD by then! Ohh im praying! Dh has his swimmers tested in the morning so hopefully they are good!

Im a long way behind with everything thats going on but just noticed i owe a big congrats to Possum!! Well done sweetheat, so thrilled to hear your happy news!

Hi to everyone else and ill post properly once i start to feel alive again, still pretty sore and miserable! Its my Birthday today too, pretty crappy old birthday but DH is spoiling me and fussing over me which i cant help but love!

    xx

Iona - I'm waiting until Sunday AT LEAST! That will be CD28, so I hope that isn't too soon. I did a lot of 'calendar staring' today and can't decide if AF is due on Monday or Tuesday. When they say AF will usually start 14 dpo, does that mean ON the day, or the next day? Confused.

Reet - I know, I totally caved! And yes, I used a FRER. So even more disappointed cause it's supposed to be so sensitive. I'm trying not to be sad, so I didn't test this morning, and of course, because I didn't test, I have that tingly feeling again on and off in my boobies. Driving me crazy. My armpits feel sore, too. I just don't know what to think!!!

Damprye - I hope it was just too early, your story gives me a bit of hope. Also from memory, last time I was pg I tested too early then, too because I felt quite sick and didn't know why I still felt sick after a BFN. A week later still no AF so I tested again and BFP. So still hanging on. Thanks for the encouragement.

Possum - Hope that line gets darker for you! I tested at 10dpo, so thought that might be enough... but I was wrong. Or am not pg. Feeling a bit disheartened, but still having symptoms so.. confused, mostly. Oh yes, and you and Reet were right... I couldn't resist. The fondling was too much for me! LOL I'm glad I gave you a chuckle with my crazy antics. Also I'm totally happy for you to lurk, it's really good to hear what's going on in our newly pg friend's lives! It's a nice change from all the OPK's and HPTs.

T-Hopes - Glad you got some answers at last! It must be a huge relief knowing you weren't imagining that pain. I hope DH has some good strong swimmers. and HAPPY BIRTHDAY [COLOR="black"]to you. I'm sorry you have to feel a bit crummy and have a UTI for your special day. At least DH is fussing over you

AFM, getting anxious. I never thought I'd be so keen for the weekend to be over, lol. Symptoms are still coming and going. All the same stuff. I felt slightly nauseated today at work, and had a few dizzy spells, even though I was sitting down. A couple of moments of 'I'm so hot I want to rip off my top' too. Hehe... Still so unsure though. I just want to get to Wednesday and have no bleeding, then I can start to feel confident I might be pg. Until then, I'm just questioning everything.

Anyway, time to go and make a snack because as usual I'm ravenous. Hi to those I missed, and apologies. I hope we get some more BFPs in here soon.

    xoxo

forshelby - how are you today - 1 more day closer to that magic day!! hope you still have all those symptoms!! I think it normally is the day after that AF arrives - not 100% sure!!!

AFM: 6DPO and woke up feeling a lil queasy and very heavy headed even though I had a good sleep....still got a week to go!! Have decided that if AF doesn't show I'm going to test next sunday - that is the 13 yr anniversary of my grandad passing. Just feel it to be a lil significant!!!

Hope you all have a good day lovely ladies xoxox

Reet- It is so frustrating waiting for af esp when you know she must be coming.

Iona- What a perfect time to test especially if there is a lil emby in there.

Forshelby- Come on week pass already I want to find out too damn Time for holding out on everyone lol

Possum- You so have to post a pic tomorrow

T-hopes- I am so happy that you finally got your answer. Knowing what is going on must be such a relief.

AFM- not much going on here, pretty boring actually. AF died off completely on Wednesday, I hope if the next one does come that it will be normal. I have managed to do my temp for the last three days but I don't think yesterday counted as it was a while before I could find the test. I will be updating the results in my sig because I don't want people at hope finding the chart.

    Hi Iona!

Ignore the quote above, smartphone is not so smart these days, LOL.

Yay for your queasiness!! Me, I'm feeling much the same. Had a few lightheaded moments this morning. Feel sickish after eating, and boobies still sore around outsides. Bumps on nipples still there, looking obvious.

Last night at the footy I said my burger tasted weird, and my beetroot was more like dirt-root. Lol. DP gave me a strange look, and said YOU'RE PREGNANT! I laughed it off, not wanting to look like a fool if I'm not. But now he's got a close eye on my strange little symptoms. I was chuffed he seemed so excited. He's come such a long way. He said later "I think junior might be on the way. Or you've been eating dirt." I denied eating dirt, except maybe sneaking a teaspoon before that burger. LOL......

So tempted to test today, now! Oh, and I'm burping a lot. Crampiness seems extremely light, and I have no af symptoms yet. Normally I have a headache by now. She's due anytime from tomorrow. EEEEEEEEP!

Hope everyone is well and being careful not to eat dirt!
