Reet - Yes, I did tell DP about the OPK's, but not about the HPTs. I didn't know how, and thought he'd probably just think I was crazy anyway. He was really nonchalant about af arriving, too. I didn't really expect him to be any other way though. I mentioned it since I was writhing around in pain, and told him it looks like he has to get back to work this month cause we didn't get there this time. He turned to me and said "Well, I didn't expect for it to happen straight away", with this tone that made me feel about *this* big. *sigh* MEN! And yes, I have most definitely joined you all in crazyland. LOL... it's hard not to get sucked in. I hope af shows up for you really soon, and your body starts behaving. You're such a good role model for me exercising etc.. but you know I won't do it and LOL @ you egging Iona on to test early. You're so naughty.

Matthews mum - I used to take naprogesic, but somehow can't justify buying medication for such a specific purpose... which only happens once a month. Is that a strange way to think? Or am I wrong, is it good for random headaches, too? It's been years since I bought it.

Trea - Hi, I don't believe we've crossed paths yet. I'm relatively new so just wanted to say a big hello to you.

Angelfish - I'm sure I've read some of your posts around the place before. WELCOME to the thread, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you find this place as comforting and as much fun as I do. The girls in here are fabulous.

MsKara - Use the toothpaste trick wisely, my friend. LOL.. I've been using that trick since I was a teenager. Works wonders! And leaves you with a minty fresh forehead. I'm not sure why anyone would want that, but it can't be a bad thing, right? Was it difficult to get the black dye out of your hair? It took me 18 months to go from reddish brown to blonde, despite that being my natural colour. To answer your question, no, I don't share everything or even a lot with my DP. He was so against TTC for so long I don't want to scare him off. I figure if he wants to know, he'll ask. Apart from telling him in no uncertain terms when it's time to DTD, (NOT NEGOTIABLE.. lol) and when af arrives, that's it so far. Sometimes I wish he was more supportive, or even knew the things I'm going through on a daily basis, being the woman and all.

Damprye - Hoorah indeed. I am lucky. I hope your cramps and lower back pain ease up soon, maybe seeing a doctor is a good idea if only for your peace of mind.

Possum - LOL @ your lost post. I know that feeling. It's happened a few times to me, except on my smartphone, which I agonizingly thumb-typed while the computer was broken. Horrible!!

Iona - Look how well I'm doing at lying low! LOL So far I managed to stay away while I was at work. So not an achievement at all...... haha. I'm addicted to this place. I find it really entertaining and would hate to get behind on what's going on with my girls. I can't believe af is due in 2 days for you already! I bet your 2ww flew by faster for me than it did for you, hehehe. I hope the queasiness is a good sign... and don't listen to Reet, she's gone bonkers. Haha, sorry Reet - you know I love you...

Dory - af is definitely a misery. I forgot how crappy it really was, but I'd rather have a sucky 2 days a month than those dreaded bcp headaches I was getting. You know, the kind that last for days and even 4 nurofen plus can't kill. I went to see some random doctor at one point demanding to have my prescription changed, and he just shrugged me off and said 'you'll get pregnant on a mini-pill, so stick to the one you have'. (He had no basis for this, btw) What an idiot. Anyway, that's my little rant over... lol. I hope you're well, and thanks once again for all your kind words. I hope your furbaby is recovering nicely after the tooth extraction.

AFM, nothing to report. Except a frustrating day at work dealing with disgruntled old battleaxe co-worker spending most of her day looking for reasons to hassle me, and leaving all the extra work (we're short staffed right now) to me, while complaining how busy she is... sipping her 5th cup of tea for the morning and spending half the day in the toilet. ARRRGHHHH!!!!!! lol I feel better now.

I have a question too: Where do I get a cycle ticker?
