Hi girls! Just wanted to pop in to say I'm thinking of you all! For those of you used to me posting everyday--I'm sorry--I know it's probably been really unusual to see how little I've been posting lately! Just been super busy, but always thinking of you! :grouphug:
Ruthie - It's good for you that you've got an answer. Now it's only a couple of months til 2009 and you can work on your dream plan. Here's praying that it will be a quick journey for you and your doctors can do everything to get your little bub in your arms. Always thinking of you

I agree with you at work i've noticed so many pregnant customers come in and i think to myself i want that to be me again.
Me- Not alot to report, still no AF. Its been 5 weeks since m/c and d&c and nothing. I do see gyno on the 28th nov, so if nothing shows up i'll be asking questions.

He has to have surgery on his hand today, so he'll be off work for 4-6 weeks! He's being very optimistic about it all.... he seems rather thrilled with the thought of me needing a wheelchair, and is determined to do his part in making sure that is a necessity! He's liking the idea of having me all to himself while the kids are gone at school--so much for me getting a break during the day! :rolleyes: 4 weeks at the rate we've been going lately, and I'll need a gurney for sure! Thnks girls for all your lovely words of support. After a few days of feeling horribly sad, I have definitely picked up and am feeling much better. Just a quick questionf or anyone - how late into pg is it safe to do a longhaul flight?

Princess: welcome to the thread. Sorry you need to be here though. Big congratulations on your engagement. It took a long time after my D& C for AF to show too - but she came eventually. This cycle things seem back to normal - with ovulation around day 14/15.

AFM: Had three blood tests in last week to see when if I have ovulated and it has finally happened :clap: Am now booked in for frostie transfer on friday. Wish me luck. I am starting to get a bit anxious about it but glad that something is actually happening again. So want it to be a success, but on other hand don't want to get too excited as the success rates aren't great and I don't want to get too disappointed. Also worried that if it is a BFP then I will be sooo anxious about m/c again. Was really anxious the minute I got a BFP last cycle and then the worst did happen. Wish I could just think positively but it is soooo difficult. Anyway fingers crossed, and if it doesn't stick then i think I can go straight into another cycle.
It's so HARD to just "lurk"..LMAO!!!!!

Jen - dont want to speak too soon but yes I am late. Usually I start spotting on Monday and AF is in full flow (TMI) Tuesday but so far NOTHING. Temps are still up. BB sore.

Hi everyone...I am a bit of lurker here too...so just popping in to say hello and wish you all well and the best of luck....
afm...well DH and I trying naturally in the hopes of a miracle before resuming IVF...chances of conceiving naturally VERY slim, but nevertheless, did OPKs this month and got a positive, along with bad ovulation pain, so at least I know I have ovulated again since the D&C, and DH and I DTD at the right times...so we are in with a chance, however slight, this month... pretty scared about the chance of an ectopic in my remaining tube (which also has adhesions etc) to be honest, but we decided to give it a go anyway

So the doctor assumes I am 4 weeks and 1 day...
Going for a dating scan next week and another scan at 7 weeks.
Hoping this is a sticky one!
It's only been 6 weeks since my missed miscarriage and D&C...
We only had sex once this month and here I am!
So much for my month off... :doh:
I know how lucky I am - so I'm crossing all my fingers.
Just very excited and very scared - taking it day by day...
Bec - wow honey that is fantastic :happyforyou: news. :leap:Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy. All I can suggest is to take it one day at time in these early stages. I know that it can be a very anxious time when you have already had a m/c.

Babymiracles goodluck for Friday and I will be :pray: for you that this frostie sticks, my friend is on her fourth IVF cycle and she has just started taking the drugs, she will get her transfer around the end of the month. she's also 37 turning 38 tom and is hating the thought of having to go through this again for the 4th time but Im sure she will be lucky this month I can feel it...she's also been going to acupuncture and we have a lady who is 46 wanting to try and fall pg who goes to our acupuncturist and she also has many women in their 40's falling pg and delivering healthy babys ...so lets hope this is a lucky month for many of us.
plc and Jen thanks for your thoughts am doing fine, onwards and upwards, am getting heaps of CM now and also temps are all in order, have also started taking the Astrix 100mg aspirin so we are going to give it a go this month, third time lucky hopefully but my acupuncturist explained to me the reason behind thinning the blood because when the blastocyst comes down into the uterus and attaches to the lining it needs to be fed by the blood in our uterus until the placenta takes over if the blood is too sticky it can't penetrate the thin membrane into the cell to nourish it and help it grow, when its thinner the blood gets through much easier....I was like oh wow no one had really explained it to me like that and it makes sense.....so am giving it a go it can't hurt.

AFM - going to the FS tomorrow, a litle nervous! Good news, DH had his sperm tested and we got the results (had to wait 3 days!) and it was all normal! So happy about as I know DH would've taken it hard if anything had been wrong. So either something is wrong with me or we have just been very unlucky for the last 12 months. I guess we will have to wait and see.
Will try to log on and let you all know how I go tomorrow.
Does anyone know how I become a belly belly member? I would like to join so I can join you all in Friday night chats but not sure how?

Monday truly was crappy...I was so sick I didn't even bother getting out of bed...that sore throat last week was a pre-cursor to this weeks illness!
yesterday...came in to work but left very early...today...still yucky AND to top it off...AF showed this morning! YUCK!!!

Sorry I have not posted in a while. Have been caught up in this whole second IVF attempt. In truth, it has been not been easy. Feeling emotionally spent and have not even done egg pick up yet (scheduled for tomorrow). Very nervous about the whole thing, particularly that I will ovulate before pickup and we will have blown another month (and $3.5K).
Sorry no persies, but :grouphug: to all you guys :D. Great to see some more BFP's popping up on this thread :dance:

mel - Its good to know that everything with DH is in working order, at least its one step closer to finding some answers. Hope it goes well with the FS.
melissa - Good for you attending your SIL's birth. Its okay to have a meltdown every once in a while. I had one a few weeks ago and am now feeling much better. A meltdown is simply a purge of all the emotions that come with TTCAML - and there are a lot of emotions! Just let yourself feel whatever you feel and to hell with everyone else. Just because other people don't get it, doesn't mean you have to justify your feelings to them all the time. If all of us angel mums pretend that we're fine, how are people who haven't been through it supposed to understand how hard it is? (Hmm...must be channelling Angel) :hug:

afm - Not much going on. Work is super busy at the moment - hence I'm reduced to lurking. AF actually took it easy on me last week - arrived on time, with very little PMS and get this: No pain! Had some O pains yesterday so will probably be pretty scarce this weekend since the BD marathon has begun. LOL. Take care girls and have a great weekend all.

Well what else can i say but i got my :bfp: yesterday. I am so worried I have been running to the toilet and checking my undies and toilet paper every five minutes. I am so scared of having another m/c. I have had a slight back pain all along my 2ww so I am a bit worried about that. Please keep me in your prayers.

Possums: Just noticed that you also have two poodles - I have two white fluffy toy poodles - half sisters and 9 years old. Too intelligent for there own good sometimes. What sort of poodles have you got?

Blueji :welcome: So sorry for your loss. Hope your stay in this thread is very short. I am also undergoing IVF and m/c with my first IVF attempt. Just had a FET today. Such a stressful process isn't it? I must say though that FET is so much easier than stimulated cycle. I have had to take no meds and had to go in for just three blood tests and the transfer today - so much easier and more relaxed

AFM: Well 'frostie" was put in today. Busy day with rushing to acupunturist before and after transfer but all good so far. Best news is that I had four frosties (blastocyst stage) and the first one they thawed survived the thaw - so I still have three up my sleeve. It is about 11 days till blood test - hopefully it will go quickly. Work is busy at the moment and I am off to sydney for weekend after this one so hopefully I will not have time to be too anxious. Having a relaxing weekend though - going to give frostie every possible opportunity to stick!!!!
