WTH - fabulous news on the scan, and congrats on this small reprieve from the first trimester craziness! I am so glad you got to see that heartbeat and I wouldn't be too concerned too much over bub's size. My ds measured a week behind when I thought we were 7w, and by 12w he had caught up 5 of those days! Big and make sure you get some sleep tonight...
AFM - nervously awaiting my first scan on Friday. Have convinced myself everything can't possibly be ok (stupid I know and I have now banned myself from having any thoughts whatsoever until further notice). We found out last night that our close friends are expecting their second bub 6 days before us which will be so great if everything works out for us. Terrible though - my first thought was "oh no, that's even more pressure for things to go ok". I said this to dh and he told me to have some positivity - insensitive bugger! I said I can't wait to be positive, but am too scared to do so until Friday and then unleashed hormonal deranged woman on him (hehe)

I just came back from giving my little niece a bath. She is soooo cute. She's 19 months old at the moment and is such a little cheeky monkey. She even showed me her monkey face (that I taught her last week to my SIL's disgust ) to prove her monkey-ness. After the bath she told everyone that "Disdy is my favorite now". Ummm, yeah, I'm "disdy" . Still can't say my name quite right, but if I'm her fave then I forgive her!
Oh, and a funny story from last night... I hoped into bed with DH last night and complained that I was over-analysing symptoms. He agreed but told me he was sure that we're pregnant this month and we just have to be patient. He then let me know that he'd been having some pregnancy symptoms too, LOL! Apparently his BB's are definitely tender, but he hasn't had excessive urination yet
