atm....well my period hasnt arrived and no signs of it...just a few pains.....so maybe it will all start sinking in soon....im so tired...i cant wait to get home actually and get dd sleeping properly so i can sleep...still got another week to go tho......cant wait for my obs app for some reasurrance......

minniemouse-i've been taking all the tablets,got a phone call from dr who wants to see me tomorrow,i'll ask her opinion as well about going ahead with transfer in dec.Are you taking higher dose of clomid this cycle?..melstar-being tired is a good sign...joeve-hope you caught that egg,they can be slippery little things sometimes...hugs to all

Think im just coming out of O'ing now, test line was lighter again this morning. We DTD this morning and have gotten about 3 lots of B'ding in I think (sorry if TMI lol). So now just praying for a miracle but not holding my breath. I guess you are all right though - one day we may get a fluke and it just might work. I guess we have to keep trying and trying because the FS did tell us the DH's samples vary all the time and that makes it hard. One day his sperm may be at prime and we might be lucky with the timing.

Mum2Ramone~ thanks hun for the lovely words, hope AF is being nice and leaving you as I type darl so you can get to O'ing and FX your BFP.

AFM~ Well ladies not much happening at the moment, DD is pretty crook with a bad ear infection and she is feeling pretty darn miserable atm. Got DFs SA results back today.......and I must say a huge WOOHOO DR said nothing there at all to be concerned about all is good with DFs swimmers.....so awesome awesome news. So here's to praying and hoping that this Clomid will get us our 2011 BFP, FX.

clairesmummy: i have been wondering where you were. great news for you on dh results, its looking good for you now, come on af so yo can get onto the clomid ! im only taking 50mg, i have never needed any higher than that when i have taken it before. i hope your DD is feeling better soon.
i have one more day of clomid then the testing and dtd begin ! im pretty lucky i don't seem to get side effects from it, but i know people who have had really bad ones, hopefully you are one of the lucky ones like me

minniemouse-spoke to dr today about levels rising in regard to the transfer in dec,she said in her opinion she thinks i should go for it,that the levels should be fine & shouldn't hinder implantation.How are you??..clairesmummy-great news!!..loops12- hope the timing & the sperm was spot on...afm-cycle day 1 today,start again,trying natural this month,before attempting frozen transfer next month

Joeve~ We haven't even DTD at all this cycle yet yeah I know we are being a bit slack this cycle....lol....but in saying that AF has only left me a few days ago. She hung around for 10 bloody days this time only 2 days of bleeding and the rest were spotting and light bleeding.....grrr that was frustrating but she has finally left now...lol....can't wait to hear all about your FS appointment this week, good luck darl and thinking of you. Hope you caught that egg this cycle be great for you to get a BFP darl.

AFM~ Well after AF hung around for 10 bloody days this cycle I'm now at CD13 and OMG I actually have EWCM today, I can't believe it I am in total shock.....lol....we haven't DTD as yet but maybe will tonight if I don't fall asleep first I feel so tired this month but having a rough time with DD being crook and been working my bum off out with the horses everyday so keepin very very busy trying to make the time go quicker to give the Clomid a try. Ladies what day do you start testing for ovulation , if you do test?

Mum2Ramone~ Depends how long your cycle usually is.....going by your ticker you have a 31 day cycle so I would start testing at CD10 just in case you O early in your cycle. And just to give you a little heads up my OB/GYN told me at my appointment the other day they have now found if you O at say CD14 you should start DTD at CD10 and keep DTD every 2nd night until a couple of days after you O. He was telling us that the couples that started DTD early in thier cycle had a better rate of getting a BFP than those who held out and started a day or 2 before Oing. Just thought I would share that bit of info with you all. Hope that helps you Good Luck.

Clairesmummy- thats interesting a friend of mine who falls easy as - 3 boys all conceived in first 2 months of trying, says that she always DTD as soon as her AF stopped every second day for a week and thats it...again depends on your cycle of course but interesting nevertheless.

I'm gunna give it a go and see what happens. Yeah I thought it was a little interesting bit of info for us all anyhow. I guess if it helps or not it could be worth trying hey. My Ob/Gyn told us that when I start the Clomid to DTD from CD10 as I usually have a 26-28 day cycle and he is hoping that the Clomid will make me O at CD14. So he told us start DTD at CD10 continue every 2nd night up until I O.

We sort of tried that this month - check my chart! We did every 2nd or 3rd day from when AF left, I usually o CD16....

good idea, I will definitely try to do that too this month !

Hi All, just wondering if anyone had testing down after their miscarriage? Doc was able to tell after my D&C it was a girl and had down syndrome :-( Now I'm worried DH and/or I could be a carrier... Doc sent us off to have a karotype blood tests last week and it takes awhile for the results to come back. I just don't know whether to go ahead with frozen embryo transfer later this month. What if all my embryos are no good?! I suppose must wait for the results :-(

day 12 for me no sign of ovulation, started testing yesterday, i figure i should ovulate between thurs and next wednesday, so frustrating i can't narrow it down anymore than that !

Sweetie ~ Haven't heard that one before - testing for down syndrome after D&C. Id try not to worry too much (if possible), it was probably just a once off fluke thing. I guess ask your specialist some more questions. Wishing you all the best - hugs

AFM ~ Thought couple of days ago I was out of O'ing period but when I got home Sun late arvo I thought Id do another OPK just to see and the line was basically as dark as the control so we DTD that night. Havent since because im a bit sore LOL (sorry if TMI) but hoping that we've done enough. :pray: The line the next morning was a lot lighter again.

Question: someone once told me that a woman is more fertile of a morning or that is the best time to DTD (conceive), does anyone know if this is a myth or have any of you heard that before?

Minnie~ Hey I'm still kicking along here, nothing great happening, I'm not even doing OPTs this cycle just left everything in the wind and we have been having a totally veged out cycle this time and haven't even been DTD at all yet. The only thing I'm still doing is my temp every morning just to see if I do O and when. The last 3 days I have had some cramping so I'm only guessing but O time must be coming soon though. But if I go by last cycle who would know......lol.....Hope you O soon darl, good luck with catching that egg and FX for a BFP for you.

AFM~ Well I think you could say we are taking a well deserved break from TTC this month, no OPTs, no DTD as yet anyhow. Just feeling so run down at the moment and the pair of us just can't seem to find the energy or the need to even DTD this cycle. I think the build up of stress from the last 2 years has taken it's toll and now that we have seen our Ob/Gyn we are both totally relaxed and worn out and catching up on some well deserved rest before starting the Clomid next month. Might get a sneaky BD in tonight maybe, and I also think that MAYBE I am about to O. If I am about to O this will be the earliest I have O'd in my cycle since my MC. I usually O at CD19 onwards currently I'm at CD16. Praying AF arrives on time so I can get the Clomid started. Hope everyone is well and having a great week so far. Can't wait to read all the upcoming BFPs that are just around the corner. Oh yeah and speaking of BFPs just heard yet again last night that another of DFs cousins are PG. So they say it comes in 3 so I asked DF who the third person would be to announce thier pregnancy in his family.....I was praying he would of said us....but in true male form he says I don't know could be anybody......lol.....never ask a man a question with out giving him the answer first that you want to hear I guess......lol.....That will teach me hey.....:rolleyes::wall:

I really havent had the energy to post in here lately as things don't go to plan as usual. Dh and I have been having problems and I don't know whether we will even be trying this month to be honest. it doesn't seem his heart is in it at the moment and although he was really happy when we were pregnant he has been really depressed lately.... And avoiding me....etc.

So goodluck to everyone else, I will be lurking but I don't know if it's even worth testing for ovulation, it will probably just make me mad when he doesn't want to try, ... I don't know anymore......

AFM~ Nothing to report at all today pretty boring in my neck of the woods this cycle. No O as yet and still no DTD. Poor DF is going through a bit of a rough trot at the moment feeling a bit down and very worn out. Making an appointment for him to go to the DR and get a BT done just to check him out. I told him this morning I am gunna put him out for a spell like we do with the horses and hopefully he will come back in feeling refreshed and full of energy.....lol.....so next month when I start the Clomid he is full of beans and can rise to the occassion for me IYKWIM.......lol....instead of falling asleep at the drop of a hat.......lol.....At least I made him laugh though he wasn't a happy camper yesterday at all......

Thankyou all for thinking of me. I have been given an IVF timeframe for March next year and FS wants me to have a crack at Clomid, he warned me of the side effects so I am a bit freaked out!!!

AFM~ Well it's CD18 today and haven't O'd as yet, we did DTD last night though. The only thing I have at the moment is a HUGE desire to DTD all the time......lol....sorry if TMI ladies. Had a bit of a headache on and off today and some cramping on my left side so O time can't be to far away I hope.....FX... Praying I don't have a 45 day cycle this time around......

Hi Ladies, I have been stalking for a while now but think it is time I joined you. I must warn you though I don't plan on staying long (famous last words?).....
A bit about me.....had my 2nd m/c (a D&C at 12 wks) a month ago today. Guess who should show up yesterday exactly 28 days later? You guessed it - old af :)
Start clomid tomorrow so really need to think of myself as TTC again now.....
My history......DS who is almost 6 took 2 yrs to conceive & it was on my 4th round of clomid that it happened. 2 yrs later fell pg naturally after 6mnths TTC but had a m/c at 12 weeks. 8 months after that & on round 1 of clomid I fell pg with DD almost 3. This last time fell pg after 6mnths TTC & 1st round of clomid again but ended in m/c :( According to tests I do O naturally but personally I think I need the clomid to give me a 'lift' :)
Anyway, I feel like I know you girls a bit so there's the lowdown on me. I really hope to be a part of the mass BFP party that is about to happen in here so feel like I am joining at a good time. It is always hard TTC in the lead up to xmas but I don't want it to be the "month that got away" so we will be trying while enjoying some xmas cheer :)
A note for those about to start clomid - I have never really noticed any side effects from it (although my husband may not concur). Don't be scared, embrace it & here's hoping it brings you your much wanted BFP.
Also, I must warn you all I am more a reader than a poster but I will do my best.

Oh girls, got AF today :boohoo: That means our test results better come back soon! Otherwise will have to make the decision to start cycle for frozen embryo transfer in 10 days (plus have to pay up on day 11!)... Suppose, if I don't take up the opportunity now, I have to wait for another two months, grrrrrrrrrrr.

i'll be back from a proper update tomorrow but i just wanted to say to joeve try not to worry about the clomid side effects, im sure some people get that but i don't get any (maybe slightly tender breasts in the 2nd part of the cycle but thats normal for me anyway), apart from that i wouldn't even be able to tell i had taken them !

The side effects don't sound too bad, except tthe last two ;) I'd be giving it a go because in hate waiting, and this ttc waiting is the worst lol..... Anything that could help, I guess :)

well we are back in action lol, hopefully this will be the month! I haven't had a positive opk yet but it's not exactly close enough to supposed ovulation to show up yet...( see ticker lol) so I'm trying to relax and not be a drag,

had my obs app and he said i was ovulating and it needed to be over 20 and mine was 35 and i said well im actually pregnant....so i have an app for a scan in two weeks...so i will be seven weeks.........im very nervous and scared....bring on the scan
