Forshelby~ Hey hun how are you? Great to see you popping in from time to time hope everything is going great for you and your bub.
Mummytotwo~ Sorry for your loss hun, great to see you have a positive attitude towards TTC again darl, I wish you all the very best of luck and sending you lots of :pink-babydust: Hope you find some great support in here and feel free to post anything we need some noise in here atm it's getting a little to quiet.
Sweetie~ Sorry AF arrived and couldn't wait for you to get your results back darl.
Joeve~ I picked my Clomid up the other day and had a good read of all the possible SE and WOW......but I'm still gunna give it a go, there's so many ladies that do take it and have had great success with it so I reckon it's worth a try darl. How are you going in your 2WW darl?
Mum2ramone~ Good Luck with catching that egg darl. Hope time goes by quickly for you and you get your BFP at the end of this cycle, FX for you.
Melster~ Good luck with your scan bet your counting down the days now.
Minnie, Stoked~ Hope all is well with you both and you are having a wonderful week end.
AFM~ Had some EWCM a few days ago then a few days of not much CM then yesterday and today lots of EWCM and a temp dip this morning so I'm only guessing but going by past cycles the temp dip is usually a good sign for Oing today but this is the first cycle I have had EWCM before Oing, never had it like this before. In saying that we have only DTD once this cycle and not really phased by that this month I would like to get my horse broken to saddle before my BFP. So the 2WW for me will probably only be waiting for AF to arrive to start my Clomid. I have my tablets ready and waiting now I just have to get some more OPKs. I have a good feeling about my new approaching cycle, so I have my FX for a BFP next month.
-
Clairesmummy - oh good for the ewcm! You may just do the one shot wonder and get your BFP! What days are you supposed to take your clomid? I hear lots of different things but my FS has said days 2 -6. Some girls seem to start on day 5.....
-
Clairesmummy - Things are going along pretty smoothly, can't really complain. I may have to have a cs if my placenta doesn't move up a bit, but that's so far just a small chance. Baby also has clubfoot (both feet) so our poor little darling will have to have braces of some sort, or plaster depending on the severity. Having a u/s to check on that in about a month. Enough about me though, EWCM is a great sign, yaayyyy... you might get a sneaky one in this month, who knows?! If not, the clomid should do the trick, can't wait to see you in the PAML thread, I know it won't be long. :) Oh and good luck with the horse, too. I'm terrified of them, frankly, they're bloody huge! Beautiful, but huge and I don't like being too close to them. Luckily, there aren't many in the middle of the city/suburbia lol.
-
hi girls,
i feel really behind here.......
clairesmummy wwhhoo on the EWCM, it would be good to get a sneak in a bfp without the clomid, don't worry about the side effects if you need to use it, if you looked at the side effects of any medication it wouldn't sound good but just remember its only a small percentage of people who get the bad effects
joeve: how are you feeling about things
Forshelby: sorry to hear you have stress with bub having club feet, my DD had a really bad talipe on one side when she was born from the position she had been in, she went into plaster for her and eventually a splint and she had physio on it and exercises at home, she is 4 now and it hasn't been a problem in a long time (years)
afm: im getting annoyed that i don't seem to be ovulating, day 17 now and still negative opt's, it usually happens late for me but im finding the waiting hard and each day i think oh tomorrow i might get a positive test and then nothing the next day and so it goes on
hi to everyone i have missed, i'll try and keep up more
-
Hi minniemouse, things are good here just TWWing again. Not feeling very hopeful, I was yesterday but today I have no symptoms of anything and tbh don't expect to be pregnant! How frusting that your opk's are not showing ov. Hope you are dtd anyway just in case :) good luck.
-
Joeve~ I'm to take the Clomid from CD5-CD9 and 2 tablets everyday. So I'm just sitting around waiting for AF to arrive, I know I haven't O'd as yet so could be awhile before AF raises her funny head again for me....lol.....I was told the best time to take the Clomid is night time though, so I will be doing that. I just hope that I remember to take them. I was shocking when I was on the pill I always forgot to take the darn thing...lol.....FX for a BFP for you darl and you don't need to take the Clomid.
Forshelby~ I will be praying that your placenta moves for you darl, FX. Unless of course you would prefer a CS. Honestly that was the one thing I was scared of happening when having DD, naturally is I can't say easier cause it's not in any way easy but the recovery time is so much quicker, but I guess I was one of the lucky ones that only suffered real bad pain when I needed to push. The rest of the time I was just cruising along and had a heat pack on my back then a shower after I told my MW I felt like I wanted to push she told me NO you won't be ready yet she got me on the bed and checked me then had to do a mad dash out to get another MW as I was 10cm dilated and more than ready to start pushing. In 25minutes my birthing was all over. And yes I'm praying like anything #2 will be even quicker.....lol.....I'm so sorry to hear about bub having Clubbed feet hun, I have never even heard of that happening so can't offer any advice on it at all. But I will be praying for you that bub will come out fit and healthy and no braces or plaster will be needed darl. I will be sure to let you know if we do get a sneaky one in....lol.....wink wink....
Minnie~ Grrrr for your body not playing your game.......how frustrating for you. I hope you are getting lots of bding in just in case. And you know what they say practice makes perfect.......I'm not all that concerned about the side effects of Clomid any more, just gunna go with the flow and let whatever be will be. I hope your chooky comes to your party soon darl and you can catch your egg. I have my FX for you darl.
AFM~ I have now had 2 "whole" days of EWCM, I am in total shock (HUGE TIME) and am very tempted to take advantage of DF tonight and see what comes to us in a couple of weeks.......hmmmm thinking thinking....and to add to everything else sorry if tmi ladies but I'm feeling as randy as a rabbit in spring time...... :o lol..
-
Thanks Clairesmummy for the welcome. Throwing lots of babydust right back at ya.
I take Clomid days 3-7 & my actual Ob recommends it days 2-6. Wonder where all the variations come from.
Who cares as long as it works huh.
My positive mind set will take a beating if it ends up taking as long as it has in the past to get pg but as long as I can share
the hardships with people who understand....that is half the battle!
Hoping good things happen in this thread real soon!
-
mummytotwo~ Your are very welcome hun. Thank you for the baby dust I need alot of that as it seems I'm not as fertile as I used to be...lol....but ah well here's to the future of us all getting our BFPs real soon. They say it happens in 3s so Melster has kicked started the BFP run for us so we just need another 2 or more to keep it all rolling on. And feel free to vent as much as you want to darl about TTC we all understand how you feel when it takes awhile to get a BFP. My DF and I have now been trying for 2yrs and 2months we have had 1 MC and 1 Missed Pregnancy. It would be great to find out why the OBs have different recommedations as to when we should start taking our Clomid........hmmm wonder if there are any answers out there to that one.......I don't have a great memory darl and too lazy to look back at your last post just wondering what CD are you on now? Are you in the dreaded 2WW or waiting to catch that egg? Which ever it is I am here wishing you all the very best of luck.
-
Clairesmummy - get to it horny toad:whip:
Mummyto2 - thanks for sharing your clomid days. :) goodluck hope you are out of here soon!
Waiting waiting waiting for something....
-
Joeve~ at the :whip: you have now given me some huge ideas.....if all else fails maybe tonight I may just :whip: him into shape........:jawdrop: I can just see DF running for cover.....lol...... DF= :hide: ME= :whip: he he he ha ha ha......lol..... The 2WW feels like eternity darl hey...it's just cruel and horrible, but please stand by reassured if I ever get to Oing I will be joining you in that dreaded waiting game........
Oh our lovely DD had 2 chickens given to her today at a friends place so DF is real impressed as now he will also have to build us a chook house........lol.......I love to keep him on his toes.......Lucky he loves us....
-
Ha ha ha...ohhh chookies!!
What do you do with your horse? I have some too!
I am not sure about the clomid dates, i am actually a bit scared to start if AF comes this week as I think maybe the side effects that i could possibly get may infact ruin other peoples Christmas :) no one wants cranky sweaty pants grinching around at christmas so I think i might wait it out a month :) I only have to take 1 tablet a day...weirdness
-
Hey girls
I thought I would join in this thread as we are starting to TTC after my recent miscarraige :(
I only bled very lightly for 1 or 2 days after my D&C... so have already DTD twice in the past couple of days... I really have no idea how this works! I will spot every now and then, like last night I spotted about the size of a 20c piece but that was it!
I haven't been coping well after our loss and I know a future baby/pregnancy won't replace but I think it will help me move on as much as I will be so scared of losing another baby!
Look forward to getting to know you lovely girls :) will be back tomorrow for personals etc :)
Night night and take care :)
Deb xoxox
-
Welcome mummydeb, sorry to hear of your loss :(. Hope your stay here is short and sweet.
-
Joeve~ Between DF,DD & I we have a fair few neddies here, before i met DF I was competing in Dressage and Showing but since meeting up with DF and moving out here there's not alot of Dressage here unless you like to travel 2 or more hours to get a comp. which is hard to do with DD and DF works every 2nd week end as well, so I have been joining in with DF and doing a little bit of Campdrafting now and having a total ball I must add, lol. We are also trying to get our Performance Horse Stud up and running as well, we breed A.S.H and Quarter Horses and I also have 1 Thoroughbred gelding who I have owned since I was 13 and 2 Arabian Geldings. So that's the neddies in a nut shell....lol....I wouldn't stress to much about the SE of the Clomid darl, just blame the mood swings if you get them on PMS it could make for an exciting Xmas for you....lol....especially if it brings you your BFP darl.
MummyDeb~ Hi hun and welcome to BB, I'm so sorry for your loss and sending you some great big cyber hugs. You will find all the ladies in here very supportive and extremely understanding and we all try to give out some good advice. I look forward to getting to know you better as well and wishing you all the very best for a short and happy TTC journey to get your BFP and a healthy little bub. As Joeve said we all hope your stay in here is short and sweet.
-
I didn't test for ovulation today as the last few days haven't had even a shadow of a line, hope that wasn't a mistake !!
I will test tomorrow though because it's getting close.
Last month I had one positive opk out of four, and it was oct 25 th, so hopefully I haven't missed it this month.... I've been so tired if I had ovulated already I'd think I was pregnant.... I even had a nap today. Maybe I shouldn't be up so late on BB every night lol :)
Back tomorrow, hopefully it's your last TWW Joeve ! Just in time for Christmas !!!
-
hi,just a quick hello from me....welcome to the new ladies & sorry for your losses, hope your stay here is a short one..thinking about you all

mum2romone: have you tested yet today ?

afm: im getting niggles in both ovaries today so im getting my hopes up something is going to happen but at the same time im scared to poas in case its another bfn opt !! we have been dtd 2nd daily since the end of last week, didn't want to start too early and be over doing it but the time it was really needed IYKWIM lol
-

Goodluck ladies with the O'ing and B'Ding, waiting etc - :stickyvibesboy::pink-babydust:
AFM ~ Just waiting for AF, dont think I'll get a lil natural surprise unfortunately. Ive been enjoying life though - met Lee Kernaghan on Sat night, got my Ute signed and we all chatted to him - very nice person. The concert was awesome!
-
loops: sorry i keep forgetting you when i post  fingers crossed there is still a chance for you this cycle
i of course got bfn on opt, gosh i wish i was "normal" and ovulated on day 14 !
-
hey ladies....and welcome newbies...
Been thinking of u all
atm..sorry i have been mia........i have a terrible cold at the moment and cant take anything so i am really miserable at the mo....and i have my scan in two weeks which i am terrified......
-
Clairesmummy- i have some oldies here grazing around, one just turned 31, she is a funny old thing still puts on a turn if you try and do anything with her! I have one show horse only at the moment :)
Minniemouse - yes tempted to test - did test and got a BFN devo as you can imagine.
Loops - hello glad you had a nice weekend hope AF doesn't show.
Melster - goodluck sweetie!
Mathews mum- hope you are going well :)
Yes BFN....wanted to cry but too annoyed now the sulking has gone.
-
joeve-sorry it was a bfn, hope it was just too soon...loops-hope one has sneaked in...minniemouse-did you up your dose of clomid this month ,they had me on 3 tablets at one stage...melstar-good luck with scan, focus on the positive stories out there...afm-nearly due to 'o',so i'll try again, don't really feel like it though & then next month i'll try fet
-
still testing negative on my opk.
Shouldn't I have a positive 24hrs before I ovulate? Just tested then..... Hmmm how annoying I thought I'd get a positive today and another before I ovulated, what's going on? ,maybe I'll ovulate later.....is that even possible?
-
mum2romone - yes you are supposed to get a positive 24-48 hours before. The best til to test is between 10am-2pm apparently :) Do you have any CM? Sorry that a bit personal I know but I think thats a really good indicator
-
That's ok joeve, thanks for helping.... yes it's not clear egg white yet.... Not real thin, is that what im looking for?
Its A bit thick I think still, if that makes sense.... :( help ....
-

-
I just read myfirst post to you and it hardly made sense! I was trying to say the best time to do an OPK is between 10 -2 :) I just turned the light on so I can see what I am typing! Yes thin, very clear and stretchy, its almost like when you wipe the toilet paper kind of glides over the over and you know you need to wipe again...geez how is that for a description! If you see it on the toilet paper its shiny looking...... I think you are at the phase before you get there, so I would start DTD every second day JIC it sneaks up on you.
-
thanks that was a good description, definately know what you mean lol :) thank you....
What day of your cycle are you? shame about your BFN but could it be too early? With my miscarriage I tested after I was four days late.... And it wasn't even that dark of a line..... Cant wait till you get your bfp !!!! I will do a special little dance for you
-
Awww thanks! i can't wait to dance too! Glad you liked my description!:tmi:
I am CD27 I usually get AF at CD29 so i shouldn't have tested but figured if I was UTD it should have shown by now....
-
I think it's too early personally, when did you get you bfp before ? Straight away?
I'd wait to see Af doesn't show, then that's a positive really before you even test IYKWIM? That's why I waited so long last time, so I didn't go crazy testing everyday, but also because I was down to my last test lol :)
-
Still no second line on my opks, I tested at 11. damn these tests.......
Shouldn't I get a second line today.?
Maybe il ovulate later this month... Help?
-
joeve: sorry for the bfn, there is still hope for you this cycle, hopefully there is a bfp just around the corner
mum2romone: sounds like you are playing the ovulation guessing game with me !
is anyone good with opt's ? i always have faint line on them leading up to ovulation and thats what i have had this cycle but now they are even less than faint like it is going away again but i never saw it dark and have been testing twice a day for the past few days so surely i couldn't miss it ??!!! for you girls who get positives how long does it last for ? and does it get fainter again after then go completely ? im so confused :wall: im day 19 today
-
OPKS.....they defiantly interesting and its really easy to miss a positive...i have read up all about it because it was driving me insane LOL
I think that you need to test twice a day so you dont miss the surge, if you're cycles are 28 days you test from day 10 till day 17 or so or until you get a positive....but it really depends were you're cycles are at. if you have irregular cycles and you o at different spots it would really be hard to catch it...if that was the case i would probably buy internet cheapies and test twice a day from when you're period stops to be safe so you dont miss it and test till you get a positive. Also medications and infertilty issues also effect opks
They say positives can last as little as a day so if you're not testing twice a day you might be missing you're positive...they say you normally ovulate in the afternoon....so i would probably test lunch time and then later on that night...
With this one i think i got one positive and then it went lighter by the next time i tested...so if i wasnt testing twice a day i would have missed it..
I also had a light line throughout mine before i got my positive..apparently you have the hormone in you're system the whole way through and thats some times why you get a faint line for a while....I would get a faint line and then it would slowly get darker then my positive and then it will go light and then nothing
Good luck ladies.....thinking of you all...mwah
-
thanks Melster: i think i have a lot of hinderance to getting a good clear answer, i have pcos which i think you naturally have a higher lh throughout the cycle), i have irregular cycles and im on fertility treatment ! i hate the whole analysing part of ttc ! guess we just keep bd until im sure i have ovulated. how are you feeling ? when is your ob appointment ?
-
Melster i have another question for you, i think you were a cervix feeler (does that sound weird lol).....i don't usually check mine but did last night and it was high but i didn't really notice anything else, today it is still high but also open, what do you think ? does that happen a few days before ovulation or the day of etc ? and have you found it drops again after you ovulate ? thanks hun
-
Joeve~ I'm sorry for your BFN hun, sending you some huge cyber hugs. In saying that it's never over till AF arrives darl maybe you have just tested a little early FX.
Minnie~ Some ladies Never get a +ive OPK when on Clomid either darl. And I agree with what Melster said you have to test at least twice a day or you can miss the surge, when I got my +ive it would only last a few hours then be faded again. And I am nearly 100% sure that when you O your cervix should be high and open to let the swimmers do thier job and catch that egg. Hope that is helpful darl. I will google it and see what info I can find for you.
AFM~ No O as yet and today is CD23 for me.......had creamy CM yesterday but today I have a little bit of EWCM. So I have no idea what's going on with me, past the point of analising it all and not really concerned one way or the other any more. To tired to keep putting so much effort into negative results all the time. Think I'm having a who really cares day to day.....lol....not stressed not upset in any way at all just not caring at all about TTC this month.
-
Afternoon Ladies.....
Joeve - good description of CM! I find the best way to be sure is to get some between your finger & thumb (gross I know) & it is really strong & stretchy then that is the good stuff & I would start my bd fest.
Matthew's Mum - hope you time it just right this month!
Mum@Romone - how frustrating with the -ve opk's. I fin it even differs between brands. My first lot of internet opks got a really strong line but one's I have used since never seem to give me a really dark line. Probably missing the surge also. Whay does it have to be so hard?????
MummyDeb - welcome, sorry for your loss & hoping you realise your dream again soon!
Clairesmummy - sorry you are having a blah day - they happen though don't they? Hope you get some positive signs too that O is happening & that the stars align & that this is your month!!
afm.....cycle day 7 so things step up near the end of the week/ early next week. Hope I get my mojo back before then as it's a bit lack lustre at the moment :(
Anyway, a big hi to everyone else & good luck to ALL! BBL.......
-
minnie...yeah unfortunately i think all those things can effect the tests...yeah im a cervix feeler (LOL LOL that sounds so funny and so gross at the same time) when you're cervix is out of you're reach or right at the end of you're finger tip, i would say o is very near..also if you have CM and its wet...I found it was really low after period and then would slowly rise up and then eventually when it was high and open thats when o was about to occur or has occured..Yeah its starts to drop after o....good luck darl..i hope you catch that eggie....Im feeling pretty crappy at the moment...i have a real bad cold and i feel like poo. My appointment is the following friday
Clairesmummy...sorry you're having a blah day today..
Joeve...sorry about BFN
Mummyoftwo...good luck getting you're mojo back
ATM........well i feel like i am dying...so wish i could take something for this cold...so i am feeling sorry for myself at the mo....
-
thanks clairesmummy and Melster: im thinking i must be close to ovulating. clairesmummy sounds like this is going to be a long cycle for you, you going to start bd now you are seeing ewcm ?
Melster: sorry to hear you are sick, i hope you are over it and feeling better soon !
-
Hey girls
Thanks so much for the welcomes
Joeve I really hope you get a positive soon, and hope that one day soon you will have your beautiful baby :)
Mum2Romone I've never used OPK but I hope that it shows up soon for u and just keep BD :) I hope its your turn this month or next!
MatthewsMum I hope you catch the egg when the time is right :)
Minnie Mouse I really hope its your month as well... lets hope we can all get a BFP real soon!!
Clairesmummy Sorry you are having a blah time, and really do hope you O soon and get that BFP :)
Melster Hope your cold leaves you alone real soon, not fun having them while preggers!
Big hellos to everyone else...so sorry if I missed anyone... But hope to hear of lots more BFP soon!
AFM Well I have no idea where i am as its only been 2 weeks since we found out we lost our precious angel and Friday will be 2 weeks since my DnC...we have DTD twice over the weekend as I had no bleeding pretty much since the DnC... I am expecting a AF but hope to fall preg the cycle after it!
We are currently selling our house so its kept me busy... our first open home is this Saturday! Hope we get a buyer! The house is nice and tidy thats for sure :)
Oh and to the horsey girls, Im a mad horse lover, don't have my own horse at the moment but hope to in the future, I've had one back before I had Charlotte but he was no good for me... So fingers crossed one day I can get back in the saddle!
