AJC - Thanks, can't wait untill I can stop counting in gest weeks. How are you feeling??
Anne - I did lose my left tube in June 08. This little jelly bean is a miracle as he/she was conceived in July on my husbands 30th birthday:clap:
I owe it all to an amazing herbalist, she got my cycle back on track so quickly, so there is hope Anne. you also get your little miracle!

Ok.....so my sister convinced me to POAS and im not sure of the result.....
I went to do the test, opened the pack and straight away, saw the negative line (crystal clear hpt's have a test line as well as a negative and positive line). So I thought straight away....this is dodgy, the lines already there before I have dont the test, the other one didnt do that! So I thought, what the heck, ill do it anyway, got nothing to loose if its dodgy. So I did, and it was negative. I put it down and came back to it soon after and there is a shadow of a blue positive line on it....I think, Im not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not. The other thing is, I worked out im only 7 days past ovulation so too early????? Maybe evap line????? Im going to test again tomorrow with a different brand.
Ill let you know.

Larz - Wow!! That was fast. My ob only let us start trying again last month (unfortunately, not successfully). He made us wait 2 cycles that end up being 3 months. Frastrating waiting that long to start all over again. I'm so glad that your other tube was a nice, healthy slip n slide tube, that's what we're praying for this time. My DH jokes around and tells me that our little angel had her arms stretch out wide stopping herself in the tube like when your a kid at the water park on the slip n slide ride. I consider myself blessed though because I've gone back to regular cycles and it appears from my temps that I'm ovulating. So it could be worse. I've got 2 ovaries still, so I might be ovulating on the side without a tube. I know that those eggs can find their way to my other tube and I can still fall pregnant. But do you know if I would still get high temps if I ovulate from the right ovary (the one without a tube) and the egg doesn't make it to the left tube? I can't find that info anywhere and I don't get to see my ob until I'm pregnant again. I've been getting high temps all throughout my TWW. I'm just hopeful and your story make me even more hopeful. Thank you so much. I can't wait for October now. My hubby turns 40 in October and that would be the most fantastic present. Fingers and toes for me.
Issy - I'm  for you girl. Fingers and toes for you too. You're so good. I would be in the car so fast and straight to the shops for another test. But like Jen said, I was dedicated to falling pregnant last month and I wasted a few tests. I was just being positively hopeful. Good luck.

Thanks annebee, I think it may be an evap line though cause Im pretty sure i saw it after the time limit. I guess ill know for sure tomorrow when I test again.

anne - When I had my operation the doctors basically told me to go home and try for 6 months, if not successfull they said I should do IVF. I pretty much thought that was a cop out and decided to do some investigating myself. Had tests for every single STD and any infections that could of caused the ectopic, everything came back negative (thank god). Doc's came to the conculsion that it was just a normal abnormality in my left tube.I started to see my herbalist and she discovered that I normally ovulated at day 24 - 26....way too late and that the egg was too old and too big to travel through the tube. I had to take like a million vitamins and drink very bad tasting herbs. I was using ovulation test strips and I ovulated at day 14 first cycle after the ectopic, so I thought I'd give it a go...and the rest is history.
I did ovulate through my right ovary this time, but our fallopian tubes can actually move to pick up eggs from the opposite side. This can happen more often when your boby has stronger pregnancy hormones, which is what my herbalist was doing for me!
sorry for the long story:dance:

Ok so I got a letter from my OB saying to give them a call because they found a problem with my test results well I found it odd because I got the test done last month when I first found out I was pg so I'm thinking what could it be I go in to my OB's office they tell me we have know idea why you got that letter go sit down for a min and we will pull your chart and let you know so 45 min pass I go back up to the desk and ask what's going they said we still don't have your chart yet I go sit back down after an hour 15 min they call me up and say oh your pg right well your iron is low you need to get a script for iron and take them twice day I'm wondering can low iron have cause my m/c ??? Larz - Thank you so much. Truly inspirational. Our doc has given us 3 months (because of our ages) before he wants to commence testing and/or IVF. Your story has filled me with so much hope.

larz: Don't painc hon. Brown discharge is common. Keeping it all crossed for you, hon! Let us know!!
-
Thanks Tutmae my herbalist just said the same thing....still I'm worried, will keep the u/s tomorrow just for reassurance

-
So glad you have an ultrasound tomorrow booked. You'll get to see you're little ones heartbeat!! YAY!! I'm sure everything is fine, hon. Look after yourself :)
-
Larz - I'm  so hard for you. Just been researching the net and brown is very common (and apparently much better than red - another site said that red to alright too). One site said that it could be the old implantation blood being expelled because the baby is taking up all the room in the uterus. Brown blood is old blood. Sorry if I'm not helping, but that's all the info I could find at the moment. I'm giving you a huge big positive .
-
larz - don't panic. I had brown discharge with this bub about 4 - 5 times between 4.5 & 6.5 weeks. Please don't panic. When it happened to me my Ob told me the only thing that worried him about it was that it worried me. that all is ok - please stay positive (well as much as you can anyway).:hug::hug: I would still have the u/s for reassurance but I would be pretty confident that everything is fine. I have actually recently found out that my placenta is low so it could just be things implanting and you may end up with a low placenta (the doc didn't actually say that to me but I think it makes sense). Another thing with my brown discharge was that I found out I had thrush early on and once I treated it I never had the brown again. There are lots of reasons so please don't think the worst.
It was sweet of you to ask how I am doing - the truth is I actually feel like I've finally relaxed and am enjoying every minute of this pregnancy. I've surprised myself because I thought I'd be really worried and uptight. Am getting lots of movements from bub which is very reassuring and my Ob is very happy with our progress so far. Am sure everything is going to work out for you & your bub too.
