sorry guys, i seem to be hogging the board with my issues today!
Apart from my SIL issues (thanks to all those with kind words re that!) i have another issue...

according to all indicators, its "o" time soon, and the issue is that im really not in the mood for BD. i desperately want to concieve this month so i can have a december baby (my bday is in Dec), however im feeling too down in the dumps to get into trying with DH.

Any suggestions of how to cheer myself up and "get into the mood"?!?!

Ohhh DH would kill me if he saw me on the computer on our holidays....lucky he s at the doctors and not here

    Had to post for Canary

    Breath Girl

I m in the second week of the 2ww. Probably about the 5th 2ww i ve done.

    My theory is this.

We do everything we can, everything from Temps through to herbs, acupunture.... whatever.... the list goes on. From there, its not in our hands. I know it sound stupid...... but what will be will be! If there is a little soul out there wanting to make the journey to this world, they will come. (i know that steps partially into my personal belief system... but your beliefs dictate how you act and think and feel in this world)

So for me, I look at my little angels..... They sat up there and said.... lets go to her...... they came down, looked around..... this world scared them and they left. Now they are up above waiting on me to go up to see them.

So for me, I joke in the 2ww Thread, saying...."dont mind me i'm just sitting over here on my seat in the corner" but pretty much that is what I m doing. I ve done everything I can. I even managed to not fight with DH allll they way through "o" so now I sit back and just wait until Monday......BUT Monday is not in my mind..... if that makes sense. Every normal day to day thing is on my mind.... work, DH, dinner, work, washing.... NORMAL exciting stuff. Its very delibrate. If on Monday I POAS and its Neg... then fine..... I just go around again. If I POAS and its Pos..... then I fall over in complete disbelief.... jump on here and tell everyone.

I will say it again.... I m sure you must all be getting sick of it.....

    ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

AngelBabies -that is a lovely way to look at how our babies come to us and why sometimes they go away. I am of a similar belief, and believe that one day I will have the very great pleasure of holding Nathaniel. In fact I expect him to be waiting for me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Tina - well I guess it is difficult to make yourself be in the mood. Maybe you just need to decide how much you want to be trying this month, and then go for it. It doesn't have to be all romance and dimmed lights....in fact I am a great believer that when knowingly TTC it is best to keep it casual and fun. Also, I think that men have such issues about 'being made to perform' (even though normally they would have no objections) that you need to ensure that your DH doesn't think you are forcing yourself to do BD. Maybe just focus on what a great relationship you have with your DH and go from there. He sounds like he has been supportive, so maybe think of this as a way of staying close to him, rather than looking at it as a means to conceive. Does that make sense?

Having said that....since O for me, I totally went off BD and have been ever since! Poor DH it looks like it will be a long 9 months for him

Well - I'm out for this month. Temp took a big dip this morn and af starting. Am really fine about it this month because I said if it didn't happen then it was for good reason as I start clomid this cycle so I figure my hormones do really need that helping hand.

Here Here Angel babies: one day at a time. I almost feel like I need to send you money for your words of wisdom; much more helpful and inspiring than that psychologist I paid $130 and hour just to make me feel like I was nuts!?!??!? Keep enjoying your break!

Tempus - good luck catching the egg this month.

Anyone else I have missed will catch up later.

Hi ladies, just thought I'd post in here because I'm having a bit of a panic attack.

I'm 8DPO today and although I know I should be posting this in the TWW thread, I just thought I could ask here. As I said I'm 8DPO today and I've got a fair amount of brown spotting. Yesterday I had pinky/brown streaks, then nothing, so I didn't worry about it - about 10pm last night, I started brown spotting, thinking that it was normal... Now, I've got a heap of brown spotting (and Watery/Creamy CM) and I KNOW I'm not due for at LEAST a week! Help?!

    back again...

    hey girls

i had to have a break from TTC and this whole thing for a week or so but now I'm back and trying to catch up with all of you- feels like it's been a lot longer than a week with all the news around here!

firstly berecca i am so so happy for you! i was reading your posts about how you were feeling a bit down about your DH's reaction....god i still think we are married to the same man! mine is so similar in the way he handles things...we really deserve a medal for being so patient and understanding!anyway i am sending lots of for you and am glad to hear that little bit of bleeding has settled. you really deserve a happy and stress free pregnancy so fingers crossed it all goes well for you

congrats also to brockstar and for you too

to everyone else it will take me so long to catch up so welcome to anyone new and hello to everyone else, hope everyone is well

well i had a breakdown/breakthrough last week....thought i could get away from this miscarriage without really dealing with it but it came back and got me last week after AF arrived...i cried and carried on so much and DH was wonderful...he did confiscate my thermometer though and that was pretty scary at first but then it was like a huge weight came off my shoulders....i am still quietly counting my cycle days but i really feel like i don't have to rush anymore...it might take a year or two but i will have a baby eventually!

anyway once again a big hello and big for all of you ladies, look forward to catching up on everyone's news.

Thanks ladies for such a warm welcome

Starryskay & Beaksie - *yay* congrats! I'm so glad to see you two UTD.

Tina It is natural to feel what you do about your SIL's PG. If it helps, it will get easier with time. And maybe you'll be PG together after all. And advice for BDing... are you sure you want to go there?

Canary About the TWW, I'd say definitely keep busy. Do something/lots of things so fun/intensive that you don't even get a chance to stop and think. I like all of Jodsan's ideas! Only can you come redecorate my place?

TempusHiya! Arvo = Afternoon. I guess it's an Australianism

Katie I'm glad DH is so lovely and supportive. And congratulations!

    LJ Sounds like implantation?!

    Congrats Xmugins!

    *waves* at everyone else.

I'm just looking forward to when we can BD I think I O at my friends wedding. Or maybe the day after, which is when we fly from the Gold Coast to London.... So I may have to convince DH to join the mile high club if we want things to happen this cycle otherwise, might be waiting till next cycle to ttc properly.

    Easter is here!!

    Hi Girls,
Oooh, I have so much to say. Where to start?

Well firstly, thank you Tempus, Jodsan, Katie, AngelB, Pash and Natty for your advice. I have decided to follow all of it! Tempus, it is really funny that you mention a relaxation CD, because I used to have a casette of calming music that I used to listen to when revising for exams and getting stressed etc. I lost that casette and could not find a replacement anywhere.. until I remembered the name of it and found it on the internet this week! It arrived in the post yesterday!
Jodsan, I like your ideas. I live in a rented place, so cant really paint the walls, but I might plant something in the tiny conservatory at the back of the house. I wonder whether it is too early for tomatoes??
AngelB, thank you so much for posting when you are on your hols. It's good advice, I am just going to focus on living for the moment and not thinking about how many DPO I am, or when I can POAS!
Pash, sorry, but cant really take time off work to come and decorate your place (would love to though!) Is the wedding that you are going to in London or Gold Coast?

Tina, sorry about your SIL, but I think that you should give yourself a pat on the back for getting through it. As for how to get into the mood for BD, I agree with Natty- laughter is the best medicine. How about watching a film that makes you laugh so much you wet yourself!!?? I have recently watched Blades of Glory (wilth Will Ferrel) and laughed myself silly. I also laughed at 'hot fuz' , but that is a british film and I am not sure whether the jokes would be as funny from an Oz perspective. I can also recommend Billy Connoly, he has been on the TV tonight making me laugh! Good luck.

Hi to Fiona and EmmyLou. I am sorry that you have needed to come here, but you are very welcome and I hope you have a short stay.

LJ: I agree with the others, sounds like implantation. Wearing my sensible hat though, if you aren't preggers this month, it might be worth getting checked out by a doc because there can occasionally be a cause for spotting between periods. I really hope that AF doesnt come!

XMuginsx: Many congratulations! That is excellent news

Pbstar.:hugs: Sorry for how you have been feeling, it is nice to have you back.

Magda- Hello again, I hope you are feeing good. It's nice to have you back.

Happy Easter everyone! I have a whole 4 days off work - woo hoo!! DH and I go on our trip on sat for 2 nights of Be good everyone, I'll see you when I get back
