Thank you so much for the replies. It was very helpful to have responses. Emotionally I'm OK about it (most likely because it happened so quickly; both the pregnancy and the miscarriage, so I barely had time to get used to the idea!). Yes... it was sad when it happened, however I'm grateful that we'd already booked in for holidays to the Gold Coast and so was able to get away and enjoy the sunshine!

Good to know that conception can occur quickly and more importantly lead to a child (Congratulations on yours Gabi)
