to Judy, Lynn & Aunty M.

Smiley - Some people are so insensitive aren't they and don't know hardships hey! Oh and I had a subchoronic bleed with Lachlan. It was terrible but amazingly he is still here. I bled from 5-8 weeks, mainly brown sludge. Then nothing. Went for a scan at 11 weeks to confirm all was ok, and yep all was fine, so told everyone that afternoon, then we travelled away for the weekend that weekend, went to bed and woke at 3am in a pool of red blood. I absolutely freaked, went to the loo and passed a clot the size of my palm and as thick as my thumb. It just gussed out of me, I even salvaged it from the bottom of the loo, I was so scared it was the baby. Spent 2 nights in hospital, but all was well. I was put on bed rest for 3 weeks, and at 15 weeks I finally stopped bleeding. Just can't believe he is still here really. Also my first pregnancy from the u/s's they diagnosed a molar pregnancy with the twins but then when they tested the remnants at my d&c it was confirmed not to be THANKGOD!

CeCe - GL and hope the 2ww isn't too long for you.

Flowerchild - Thank you for the information, but I think I will just go with the flow for now and try to read my own body signs as I don't want to freak out with opk's as when I charted and temped it was so stressful. I am sure I will change my mind IF time goes on too long though. Thanks again.

Auntie M-- howdy is one of my favorite words, in fact, its the standard "hello" at the university I attended. They even sold t-shirts that said 'howdy dang it." I was thinking the same thing about maybe ovulating later than planned. My temp shift is clear though and my CM is pretty much gone. Even if I was Ovulating... my hubby has the flu so I am avoiding his germies. I have a touch of brown sludge spotting today... like the teeniet little spot about the size of this O. I am trying not to over think it much. If its not time for me it simply not time. I have like 30 Opks strips in my medicine cabinet so I am well prepared for months and months of crazy. ha

Hugs to you and I hope you are holding up well. Keep you chin up and pamper yourself... you're doing an amazing job ... cultivating a miracle!

    Good morning!!!

    Hello everyone!!

Feeling crampy and yucky today. In body only, my head is doing quite well!! No crazy lady stick for me today!! Its weird, yet good that i am focusing on trying hard this month- so i am just counting the days till AF goes away so i can get right into trying!! It was funny, i sort of wanted AF to come so i could try out my opk's!!! Of course i would have been ok with wasting my money on them too- but its nice to be excited about trying new things this month!!
i think it will help me put my mind into a postive out look, which i can carry through. Fingers Crossed!!!

Thankyou everyone for your messages to Ben- i will pass them on!

AUNTIE M>>> I dont really rememebr too much about america- i have a few scattered memories which suprise my parents sometimes!! Like the drive through bank- i rememeber that when we went shopping my mum would drive into this brick building and they gave her money!!! At the time i didn't realise it was her money- i thought they just gave it away!!! We dont have drive through banks here in aus- that i know of anyway!!!
How are you feeling? It sounds like you have found yourself a really nice dr- i am so glad for you! Its so important for us to have a dr we are comfortable with and who will give you the attention that you so need!! That is a great step!! When is your first scan?

SMILEY>> Hello, how is Nathaniel going?? I think its great you are jumping right in for another!!! I rememeber you were thinking about it while you were still preg with nathaniel!! Good luck!! I never knew the story about what happened with the d&C- Goes to show they can get it soooo wrong sometimes!! I bet you thank your lucky stars that you waited!!!!!!!!!

SHEERJOY>>>> So you are a few days ahead of me!! I am on day 2 today. I printed a copy of sperm meets egg too- so we will be trying the same thing!! Let me know how you go. DH says he doesn't want to know what is going on (says it takes the romance out of it and puts a bit too much pressure on him. poor baby.) But he says for me to do what ever i need to do to prepare and just jump him when ever the time is right!!! I tried to tell him how often that will be (so he was prepared!!!) but he still doesn't want to know!!! He's gonna be in for a shock come day 10ish!!!!!!
I did explain to him that i will be doing tests in the middle of the month that look like pregnancy tests- and there might be two lines on them- but it doesn't mean i am pregnant- just in case he see's them in the bin and wonders why i am keeping the good news secret!! Pink ones for ovulating and purple ones for being preg!!! I bet he still gets confused!!

LYNN>>>>HI there!! How are you going? How is Hope? i hope this is my month too!! I wasn't really putting much effort in this last month- sort of having a break so i am all revved up to try hard this month!! Please say hi to all the big bellies for me in the preg thread!!

FLOWERCHILD>>> Thanks for popping in and giving us some advice!! I think a few of us are quite motivated this month!! Lets hope we get some 's out of it all!!!

JO>>> Hello!! How are you feeling today? I haven't had a chance to look at your pics yet, I will do it soon. Cant wait to see what yuo look like!! I am going to scan some photos in this week!!

Hello to anyone i have missed!! I have to do some work now- i will be back later!!

    Lotsa love Kattixoxox

Katy, we are gonna be belly buddies this month ok You are one crazy women wanting to try your OPK's, hehe. Where did you get them from?

Has anyone ever tried Vitex Agnus Castus? It is a traditional herbal remedy used to relieve pre-menstrual symptons such as breast pain, breast tenderness and fluid retention. It can also assist in regulating the menstrual cycle. It is a Chaste Tree extract equivalent to 660mg of dry fruit.

I used this for Lachlan and first month on it we conceived and the same with the twins just recently, thought I would give it a burl again, and yep sure enuf preggas! Now you can't say that is a coincidence..... Well I just started again last night, as I forgot to start at the start of my cycle, so here's hoping this is our month. I really think it got things happening in there. You can't take it when pregnant, so basically as soon as you ovulate you must stop taking it.

Doesn't EPO increase cervical mucous too? Gosh I knew all this stuff when trying for Lachlan, but of recent times I am a little too slack about it all.

sheree - i was given a mixture of herbs last cycle and vitex was one of the ingredients in that, i have to say i do think it helped in leveling out my hormones, as i had been charting you could see the difference in the non herb month to the herb month. i've just been put on some new ones now to help sustain the pg, so i hope these ones work as well as the others.
silly question but what is epo?

Klee, EPO is Evening Primrose Oil. Sorry as I was typing it I thought I should have clarified. That is great, so you were only on the Vitex for one cycle and you fell pregnant? What have they given you now?

    Sheree,
You do what you need to do my love... For me I found the knowing when less stressful than not knowing but that's because of my age (I am 40) - and I felt that my clock was ticking very loudly!

EPO is reportedly helpful with increasing your CM - however it should not be taken after ovulation as it works against the hormonal changes that occur after ovulation. Many women swear by grapefruit juice!

I hear you loud and clear Flowerchild. So is this your last child?

Yeah I thought EPO was good for that, I have some here, might take some of that leading up to ovulation. Thanks again.

Sadly yes... I always wanted 6 but I feel I can hang up my ovaries after Col is born - the road has been very long and very painful. She will be an absolute blessing for which I will always be grateful...

I think the road is hard for many many people. The sharing and connection though that our angels give us with others is their gift to us. Where would we be without all of these wise, supportive loving women!

I used vitex to get AF back after breastfeeding lil miss nurse-a-lot. Abby Nursed frequently until she was 2. I was ready to ttc so in November, I started with the vitex tincture. AF followed about 2 weeks later. I was without her for 19 months total... so I loved vitex. You will read that it actually normalizes the parts of your brain that control hormones.. especially prolactin. There is, however very conflicting info on whether it should be used in pregnancy or DPO.. so read up and go from there. Hugs! and GL

Here, here to deb, kat & sheree

Sheree – the mixture I got last month include vitex but not solely that, had a few other herbs that helped with progesterone and things like that. I got it from my acupuncturist who is also a Chinese herbalist. She has given me this next mixture, but I haven't had chance yet to look at what each herb does, don't know that it works for everyone but my sister had a m/c 2 years ago and went on this when she fell again, mind you her son ended up walking at 6 months of age and she tells me its from that.

Starbright - Actually I was very confident the the baby (nathaniel) was going to be fine. It was like it was a dream and I thought it quite comical that they were saying and thinking along the lines that they were.I don't know I just knew it was all going to work out ok. Despite the fact theat they thought otherwise.

Shereejoy - can you please explain what is vitex. . ......
