We use to put them in there high chairs - we had the prima papa ones that reclined back and were on wheels and pushed them back and forth whilst we were watching tv. I know it sounds stupid but it worked for us. Then when they got older we just put them in there cots and keep going in and patting them for a minute or two then walking out of there room. Eventually they just fell asleep by themselves.
