I had a belly blessing BBQ which meant both men and women came. Not as many people came as I would have liked but it was a good day.
I bought some nice beads for people to bless that I can wear or hold In labor and mum made a jelly belly cake- a round bowl of jelly upside down and 2 smaller ones for breast! She decorated it with flowers.
I also got some nice paper and asked people to put their wisdom, blessings etc on it and I put it In an album.
I would have really liked a friend to organise an event for me but no one offered and I just ended up doing it myself. Next time ill ask.
