    Question Christening Candles?

I am wondering if anyone has made their own Christening Candles? I have looked around for someone else to make them but they are SOOO expensive and we really just can't afford to spent that kind of money on a candle. Our Church does provide us with a candle but I thought that having a personalised one would be nice

So has anyone made their own? If so.. please share tips and ideas

    TIA

Hi just wondering how you went with the candle.

We are getting Lachlan christened in a few weeks and i have been looking around, I cant seem to find any information on how to make your own. I would love to put a photo on his candle.

Another alternative for craft clueless people like me, is to ask the Godparents to buy the candle as their gift. Our priest suggested this and the Godparents were grateful to be able to get something that would be appreciated (although they gave a gift of cash as well).
