Hi all,

Just thought I would share with you a short 2.5 minute clip of our wedding on the Greek Island of Santorini.

The wedding was held on the 13th September 2007 and took place in front of 30 of our closest family and friends at the luxurious Sun Rocks Hotel. We said our vows as the sun set over the Caldera.

It was pure magic!

Thanks Sarah! The bridesmaids outfits were actually my Dad's idea to make the wedding a little less formal which is what we wanted. I had a great dressmaker who designed the tops and the pants - everyone commented how beautiful the girls looked!

Mel - as you can tell I too am a HUGE fan of The Princess Bride and I just had to have the music during our ceremony - it was perfect for setting the scene.

My sister always said she would actually marry wearing pants BUT ah, she chickened out & wore a two piece pencil skirt woollen suit instead (but she looked so lovely)

We were really struggling with the bridesmaids outfits as everything we found was either too formal or not formal enough. We got the idea in a bridal magazine where it showed the bridemaids wearing jeans. My Dad jumped at the idea and it went from there. I certainly didn't want denim - it was a wedding afterall - but I thought that if they wore pants that were the same colour as my dress and gorgeous, colourful silk tops then it would blend in nicely with what we were going for. Everyone commented on the girls saying how different it was and how gorgeous they looked. It was a strict "suit with no tie" event so it really was perfect! The girls can wear the tops again and again too!!
