Shannon - So sorry to hear that Jessalyn has to have a biopsy next week, what does it actually involve? If it happens to be the disorder they think it is will the operation mean no more problems. Your in my thoughts.

Megan - I`m not sure what Matthew`s weight is at the moment, he goes to the MCHN on Monday so will find out then. He was 5180gms at 4 weeks and 5910gms at 7 weeks - this is bare weight, so going by those weights he might be about 6.5kg.

Jo - Glad you had a better night last night.

I`m exhausted, anyone want a vomity, crying baby who will not sleep????????? I was ready to give him away this morning, total exhaustion and frustration hit me. Matthew was awake for 9 straight hours yesterday from 1pm until just after 10pm, only time he slept was in the car, he then woke at 2.30am went down again at 4am, woke vomiting at 6 then spent the next 1.5 hours crying, vomiting and wanting food but then bringing it all back up again, he went to sleep at 7.30 when I got up and awake again at 9.30. At times like this it would be nice to have someone else to pass him to for a little while just to give me a break. Sorry for the whinge I know we`re all in a similar situation.

    Hope everyone is well.

Shannon - thank you for the hugs, I really need them at the moment. I hope Matthew listens to you, he looks exhausted with bags under his eyes, just put him in front of his kick n whirl carnival hopefully that will keep him entertain even just for 5 minutes. If it happens to be billary atresia lets hope Jessalyn will be in the 16% category.

Dee - Big *HUG* coming to you. Hope Matthew settles for you soon if not. Just pop him on a plane and i will look after him for a while for you so you can get a little rest

Shannon - Hope you have some good news next week. Just can't stop thinking of you all.

Not sure what Alex's weighs now we are going to the clinic tomorrow. I am hoping the rain stops long enough so i can walk as it's only 20mins away or less.
Alex has his first friend over tomorrow night for a sleepover.

Michelle - Thanks for your offer now if only I had a private plane and pilot Alex is starting his socialising skills early, never too young to start. Hope it goes well for you tonight.

Michelle and Shannon - you obviously both live in the wrong state We did get a bit of rain when Qld was flooding but that was it.

Sssssssssssssssshhhhh Matthew has finally gone to bed first time all day,

I`ve calculated he`s had 8 hours sleep in 25 hours no where near enough for a baby.

Now I might relax on BB for a while I had planned on finishing the housework which I started on Tuesday but I`m too tired for housework.

Shannon - I can't remember what the sun looks like as well. Not sure when the sun came out for us last.

We are looking after Chloe for Lesley and Anthony tomorrow night so our little house quest is a week older than Alex. They look so cute together.
I am telling them both no talking all night and no midnight snacks. LOL

wow, everyone sounds very busy! Dee I sympathise with you, I sort of had a bad night last night too, Coby was really good until about 4/5am, then just wouldn't go back to sleep, so I was getting up and down to him until about 6.30 and then decided that he wasn't going to go back to sleep so we both got up. I am soooo tired now, and he still has hardly slept all day, silly little man!!

Shannon, thanks for filling us in on Jessalyn, it sounds like she's had a bit of a rough trot, hopefully you can find a solution soon and get her feeling much better.

Hope you are all well and having fun being mums.

Shannon - I was thinkin' of you guys yesterday, and I'm glad to hear that Jess coped well with the fasting. What a little champion (you both are). I will keep all my fingers and toes crossed for you and Jess.

Michelle - I'm a bit the same this week. Have only managed to do the washing, and wipe the occasional kitchen bench. Oh well. They're only this little once! Hope the little ones are good to you!

Lesley - Enjoy your night out! Hope you get to go to the formal dinner and more to the point, get to go evening wear shopping!

Dee - How are you feeling now? Hope Matthew had a good sleep today and that you've managed to catch some rest yourself. Sounds like you guys are going through a pretty rough patch. I can totally sympathise with wanting to give away the baby! Sleep deprivation and exhaustion can make you pretty desparate. Don't worry about whinging! We all understand how you're feeling, and you've always been there with kind words for Hannah and I when I've let loose. Sometimes it helps just to get it off your chest.

Bel - how did your weighing and measuring go?

Jo - Glad you had a better night. Hopefully Erykah has come through her little growth spurt and will settle for you.

Megan - Way to go on Finlay's weight gain! I bet you feel so satisfied seeing him grow like that after all the pain and hassles of learning to breastfeed. I love having Hannah weighed, it makes me feel so good to see her thriving and getting adorably chubby.

Hannah was weighed today too...she's now 5680g (at nearly 8 weeks). She's been grumpy all day though...seems to have terrible wind. I'm thinkin' it's my chocolate pig out of the last couple of days coming back to haunt me. I don't know what's gotten into me lately...normally I am very restrained...but the family block of plain ol' dairy milk choc in the fridge has just been too tempting. It's all gone btw.

    Hi all

Not been on all day as a friend came over. Nice to get some adult conversation. I think Erykah is maybe over the growth spurt as she is more settled. She has just drifted back to sleep bless her and I need to get her bathed and ready for bed just after 6.

I tell you what my BB are a little tender today. They seem to be extremely full from her feeding so much and its a good job I didn't go out anywhere as they leaked right through the pads. How embarrasing!!!

Of course when I try and express I get very little 30mls wow!! I'm sure there should be more but I am not in urgent need of EBM so can't be bothered to get more.

Just checked out bank account and notice the home loan payment has been taken twice something I need to get sorted tomorrow.

Anyway heres for another good nights sleep

Good luck tomorrow Shannon hope it all works out well for you both. Thinking of you

Hi all is well with you and your little ones.

Just stopping in to see how you are going.

Shannon - thinking of you and Jess tomorrow, hope it goes ok

Dee - poor thing, lots of hugs, hope Matthew is okay. My Matty gets weighed on Monday as well. No housework gets done here either.

Michelle - family feeling better? LOL at Alex's sleep over.

Lesley - how are you going? Great that you get a night out.

Juliette - were you asking about Leap Frog or layby till Christmas? Think I vaguely remember someone asking something. I plan on hitting Target as I have spotted a couple of things on Fisher Price website I'd like to get him. I almost bought a leap frog for him the other day but didn't. I think they are a great idea and you can get the ones with British accents, in case the american ones worried you.

Jo -I went through a stage where I leaked all the time and had to put two in each bra just for the leaks, they do settle down soon enough.

Thanks for the tip Nell! I will definately look out for the british accented ones. We only have a country target here in the next town to us..so I hope they get a good stock of fisher price stuff for the sale. It's a very small store, but I'm sure they can order stuff for me if need be. We don't have a kmart either! I'll be in Brisbane next week for a couple of days though, so I can check 'em out then.

[-o< Sending out prayers for Shannon and Jess today [-o<

We have been to see the CYN today and Alex is doing so well.
He now weighs 5290kilos, Length 56cm and his head is 40.5.
He put pn 240grams in a week.

Alex is also starting to self settle he wakes a few times at night not really ready for a feed and i am now not getting up so he goes back to sleep for a few more hours.
Alex woke just after 11 and i asked DH to get up but we both went back to sleep next time i looked at the clock it was 1.50a.m he was ready for his feed then he then woke again at 6.15 and went back to sleep until 7.

Michelle - In the last 2 weeks I haven`t done the housework, only the normal daily washing, so after Mark`s boys have been here I thought I better tidy up, they leave such a mess behind, lolly papers, ice block sticks - you name it it`s just left on the floor. Alex sounds like he`s doing very well with his weight and sleeping. How did last night go with Chloe?

Nell - How are you and Matty? Hope Matty is being a good boy for you and let us know what his weight is on Monday.

Jo - Hope you get the house loan payment sorted out.

Shannon - Good Luck today, have been thinking of you.

Juliette - Hannah`s weight is great, hope she`s not as grumpy today for you. I was a bit like that yesterday wanting chocolate but we didn`t have any in the house, probably best that we didn`t have any as it would have added to Matthew`s problems.

Bel - Hope Coby had a betternight for you last night.

Lesley - Hope you had a good time last night.

Matthew finally went to sleep at 9.30 last night (after being awake since 9.30am with only 30 minute sleep at 1.30pm). I was totally exhausted, when Mark came home he did take him for a while, Matthew also had a bath with Daddy I thought that might help the little fella but he still wasn`t his happy self even in the bath, Mark seems to think it`s still the vaccs affecting him. Today Matthew seems happier then yesterday but still not himself, he has had a sleep so much better then yesterday and Thursday.

Lesley - guess thats what happens when I`m sleep deprived get everything mixed up but then since having Matthew I`ve been making silly mistakes, I`m an embarrassment to myself sometimes
