Actually, you can eat yeast, if it is in bread. The yeast is not candida used in bread, plus the cooking kills them. There are two things you can do for a week to see if it makes much difference to how you feel - go off malt and vinegar. Malt can be hidden, look for sources, such as maltodextrin and cereal sweetened with malt. Vinegar is in tomato sauce, etc also, be sure to find hidden sources. Try that for a week. That's step one. :)
If I take you through the steps slowly, you'll barely notice the lack of stuff, it should be painless sacrifices.
As for your supply, do you really take a cookie for it? I drink a tea I SWEAR by when I need a boost. It causes engorgement within three hours of drinking it. Be warned! "Weleda breastfeeding tea" It cost me about 14 bucks at a chemist/hfs. You can drink it in smaller doses and breastfeed the nation on that stuff. I can link it if you like. I just broke the link I did as I don't know the rules here, maybe I can't link it cos it is a product.
MGM, I meant to say, it takes up to 6 weeks for all the dairy constituents to be out of your milk and out of your baby. I learned this when I went off milk three months ago. And then you have to be really vigilant about it being in products, such as "casein", or supplements with dairy, such as probiotics and some calcium tabs. It's a pain in the butt but once you learn how to find it, it's easy. Better for your health too! :)
HAving a terrible time here, haven't slept in three days. I'm a wreck.
We are a quiet bunch! What's happening everyone?
Baxter has been waking up to 6 times between 3.30am and 5.30am for the past fortnight, he's not wet, nor hungry, nor distressed. Just calling out.
I feel like a muppet because last night I wrapped him, then put him in a sleeping bag, then a blanket which gave us all 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep, woo hoo!
:wall: I can't believe it took us that long to work out the poor mite was cold, live and learn hey?!
Well, I think I can finally reveal my name. I don't post anything on here that I wouldn't say IRL so if anyone that knows me finds my posts they won't find anything too juicy.
I'm Brady.
xo
hello brady - you're the first brady i've ever met. ten hours of sleep WOW! bet you'll be keeping baxter nice and toasty from now on!
fire that sounds terrible. why haven't you slept? thanks for the milk info. i've diligently weeded out all products containing milk but didn't think to check my multivitamins.
i'm managing ok without dh so far, but evenings and nighttimes are hard. both nights ds has woken up and joined me and dd in bed, which means extra wakings for me. only one more night to go...
dd has just done huge poo so it's goodbye for now...
Howdy everyone,
Remember me?? :P
Ahh just popping in girls while i have a mo, Isabell is asleep  but wondering how long this routine will last (My guess is not long) And its not really one i wanna keep her in, but it works for me NOW and it keeps me sane NOW.
She is a giggly bub now, and rolling EVERYWHERE. Of course thats when she has had sleep and is happy. Her giggle is so amazing, it just makes everything okay and worth while. She loves her mummy too!! I give her cuddles and she rests her head on my shoulder then picks it up as if the hug is finished.
Im sorry, not doing personals, havent got THAT long to catch up on the millions of pages ive missed out on. But i do hope every one is going good!!
Hi MEG
hope things are getting better with Izzy
Guess what i got today... a ergo!! so excited should ne here tomorrow.. was on speical to $127 inc express post. only the green one but still who cares for colour
OMG we have two teeth!!!!
two front bottom ones... bit concerned as they seem to be a bit behind the gum rather then the middle...
worst night ever. ds refused to go to bed - i eventually got him there at 10pm. dd only went down at 9, but woke every 10-15 minutes and had to be resettled. between the two of them i was already a wreck by the time i got to bed at 12.30. then they conspired to torment me with frequent wakings, and dd decided that 6am would be a good time to wake up for an hour or so. i managed to get her (and myself) back to sleep at about 7.15, but ds was fully awake by then and wasn't keen to let me sleep.
when dh arrives back today it'll probably be the happiest i've ever been to see him! i just wish he didn't have to go to work tomorrow so he could take dd and let me sleep in.
if there were a smilie of a tired, haggard-looking woman with crazy hair and bloodshot eyes i would be inserting it HERE.
hope you all had a better (and longer) sleep than me!
PS beatrix teeth, wow! are both the front ones coming up at once? i'm sure they'll look normal once they're out, but you can always ask a mch nurse if you're concerned.
Wow Ness - teeth! Scary! :cryinglaugh:
Mgm  sorry you had such a bad night, but at least DH is home today. Liam slept badly last night too (not as bad as you had though!). We had trouble settling him at first and then realised that he smelled poo-ey. We got him up and changed him and got him re-settled. Then he poo-ed again this morning which is way more than normal.
I've had a coldy/flu-ey thing so we're thinking maybe he's got it and is feeling off and has the runs (hard to tell with baby poo, isn't it?). Poor sausage is asleep now...
Been MIA myself this week but hope I'll have more time by the weekend to catch up with personals... sorry!
mgm - hun, I hope DH hurries home soon for you!
Off to Perth tomorrow (2.5 hour drive), Baxter has an opthalmologist appt so we'll go to that then a spot of shopping for my boy and I.
SG
xo
SG - what's an opthalmologist? Just curious! I reckon your ticker photo might be a little out of date too - I'm sure Baxter's grown up a lot since then!
Meg - we get the occasional chuckles out of Liam but they're hard won at the moment. Can't wait for him to start doing it all the time! He's not far off rolling either - stay tuned for that one!
Will catch up again soon!
Nettie - you're right, I did need a new signature! Here is Baxter in the tub with Pirate Duck, he loves Pirate Duck and tries to eat his beak in the bath. An opthalmologist is a eye doctor, I was born with a cataract and my optho thought that Baxter may have been born with one as it is classed as family history. But all okay, go back in 3 months time for another check up.
Well, we had a fab day together yesterday. We waited over an hour for the Dr, and he was so good. Then we went into the city and I fed and changed him at the parents room at Myer (those places are mingin' IMO) then I had a shop at country Road and he sat happily and watched me try on clothes, then we went to Target since they are having a good sale (20% off babies clothes). My little man is almost in 0 size, it's very loose around the chest but he is just so long.
He's just figred out how to blow raspberries too, so cute!
Janine - how are you feeling hun?
Nessa - teeth! OMG!
mgm - when is DH home??
Leyla - are you around hun? How are you? Please update soon....
Hello to everyone else, hope you are all going well.
I am a golf widow tomorrow so going to watch my old netball team play.

Just quickly, BJ is rolling front to back! Yay!!!
He's always been so content to just look around that he hasn't bothered to move, now...look out!
Darn... do you know if you press Esc it deletes your post???? Grrrr - start again:
Had a rough night with Liam last night with him having a cold and not being able to settle laying down, so we both sat up with him (for moral support and also because we were worried for him so both felt more comfortable being with Liam) until 4am. I did manage to doze a few times in the chair, but nothing substantial. Then he settled down enough to put him in his cot so we went to bed. He woke up at 6 am and I got up to him until 11am when DH took over & I went back to bed until 3pm.
BW - for BJ! It must be the day for it as Liam rolled from back to tummy twice this morning (so I had to go & wake DH to tell him!) and then again this afternoon (when DH had to come and wake me to tell me!). Always on his right side, but he's tried the left too, so I know he'll do it that way if there's something that side that he wants!
SG - LOVE the pirate duck! Glad to see a new pic of Baxter - he's really grown! Thanks for explaining the opthalmologist - always good to know.
Must go... got to do a similar post on the other thread & catch up on my cloth nappies thread before bed tonight. Might like to get in early in case it's another rough one. Although he's been down since 6.30 pm tonight without much murmuring... He's such a good boy. I know he's woken up once or twice (by the sounds of his breathing) but he just gets himself back to sleep. I am a very blessed mother!
SG, we just got raspberries too. Sooooo freakin' funny. I do one then he does one and then we both crack up in hysterics. His laugh is so cool. He laughs now without physical touch like a neck raspberry or a little tickle. Just laughing cos it's funny. Growing up!! Mingin', btw! I haven't heard that from anyone other than my DH who lived in Scotland for a while and picked up mingin' from "mingin' o' pish" .
MGM, I hope things are better now the fam is all together. Sounded rough.
BW, WOOT! Ci hasn't rolled over yet. Maybe he's too darn BIG, the fatty sod. He does roll to his side so it's not far off now.
Well, here things are great and crap all at once.
Great cos his skin is clear as a daisy! I roooool. Did the yeast kill and NAET and it is simply brilliant. I watched it literally disappear day after day until there was nothing. I could have cried in bliss.
Crap because his scalp is still itchy and I think that's why his night time sleep is so poorly. There's nothing there, yet it still itches, so weird. As you know, he always fed frequently, but for several days now his wakes are from one to three hours long! Not much sleep being had here. I could swaddle him again, but he hated that so much but it did get me more sleep, him all burrito-ed up beside me. So although he isn't scratching himself bloody at all (no blood or scratches in the morning even though he scratches all night), it's enough to keep him awake. I got cranky one night and barked at him to shutup so I did some EFT on it and now I am back to kinda maintaining a little Zen through it. Can't wait until it's over though.
It's soooooooo quiet in here! Not that I can talk, I've been pretty quiet myself.
Fire - So glad that Ci's skin is all clear now. I can't believe how much it stressed me out when Jack's skin was upset. The itchy thing might just be habit? Might be worth baby burritoing him for a night or two to see if it breaks the habit? Just thinking out loud!
Nettie - that night sounds nasty! I've had a few of those myself. Hope that Liam is doing better now.
BW - CONGRATS on the rolling - what a cleaver baby!
Shoegal (love your IRL name by the way!) - So glad that Baxter's appointment went well. Got to love the raspberries and belly laughs, makes all the bad times worth it. Thanks for checking in on me by the way - I've just been so exhausted that I've only just barely had the energy to read the thread let alone participate. I remember when you were pregnant with Baxter and dropped off the radar for a month or two. I was so worried that something bad had happened! I guess we all worry about each other every now and then!
mgm - Hope your nights are getting better!
Beatrix - Wooo Hooo on the teeth! How cute. Hope they did not cause too much pain for either of you!
Things have been ok here. Actually they have been great with the exception of sleeping. If at all possible the sleep situation has been getting worse. I hit rock bottom a few nights ago. He woke 9 times through the night. 4 times before midnight! I was a wreck and just broke down in tears to DH. He kindly took him off me at about 6:30 and let me sleep for a few hours. I was feeding him at one stage (about 3am) and just felt so angry and alone. He was not settling, and not feeding properly and I had not had more than 1 hours consecutive sleep. I was just sitting there feeding him with tears rolling down my cheeks and thinking "I hope that my crying does not change the flavor of my milk" - how strange is that? Anyhow, DH took him for the first few hours last night as well so things seem much less dire when you have some sleep behind you. It felt sooooo good to have 5 hours consecutive sleep. I've got a copy of the No cry sleep solution, but we are about to go on holiday for two weeks so did not want to start anything when we will just be disrupting him soon anyhow.
Nettie I know that you tried the NCSS - did you find that things got worse before they got better? It warns in the book that some of the techniques might mean that you might get less sleep for a while. That scares the life out of me as I am only getting about 5 hours a night as it is. I honestly don't know how I could function on any less.
Anyhow, hope that everyone else is doing well.
love
I'll go back and read and do personals later. Just wanted to poke my nose in and say hello....
DH had a bit of a breakdown last weekend. He seemed fine, normal, happy and then it was like someone flipped a switch. Weepy and clingy and anxious. I did my best for a day but then we went down the coast for the week to his parents' farm. They looked after us and gave him some heavy work to do.
All is well now except I caught a flu so now Lila and I have it I was taking some cold med because the back of the box didn't say not to. I noticed lila was feeding longer and chalked it up to her stuffy nose, so I pumped to give her a bottle, make it easier. I just didn't have much milk. COLD MEDS DRY UP YOUR MILK. So now I feel sicker and guilty cause my milk supply is low. I'll go back on the flaxseed to get it up, and thank god for my milk reserves in the freezer just in case.
Start work this wednesday, hope it works out. thinking of you all...
Leyla - The only thing I've really implemented from the NCSS is having a nightly routine. That helps him know it's time for sleep and if I needed any proof that it works, he was really upset last night until we starting doing the routine and he calmed right down and was smiling & everything. I figured he felt better once he knew what was coming next. I've even considered doing a routine in the mornings for the same reason. There isn't really much more in the book at the moment that will help us because he's such a good sleeper.
Saturday night we all went out to tea which was interesting because Liam's routine starts anywhere between 6-8pm (whenever he shows signs of being tired). Well we went out at 6.30 and came home at 9.45. We then implemented the routine, but he didn't do his long sleep (usually 5-7 hours) first like he normally does. Just woke up at 1, 4, 5, 7 and if anything was more irritable than normal. He was really bad all day yesterday (I was in weepy mode too as I'm feeling off with a cold) and he's a bit sick too with a runny nose etc. Well, last night we implemented the routine around 7pm and once he was in bed (at 8pm) I only had to go in once to resettle with the dummy. After that he slept the entire night! He cried at 4am and DH went & put a bottle on but he put himself back to sleep (bottle down the sink!) then he cried out at 6am, but again put himself back to sleep, then woke up at 7.15am without being too grumpy. That's darn near 12 hours sleep!!! He's still sick with his runny nose and we've got an appointment with a Dr tonight (not his Dr, but a baby Dr nonetheless) to get him checked out. He's hard to give panadol to as he doesn't like the taste and he panics if he doesn't swallow it down straight away which sets him crying.... vicious cycle!
I think he's waking up now so I'd better dash!
:hello: to everyone else!
Just quickly,
Nettie have you tried (I'm sure you have!) putting the panadol in the side of his mouth?
I found when BJ was on Zantac (which he HATED) if we put the squirter in the corner of his mouth, over near the cheek, he swallowed out of reflex, but didnt taste anything
Not sure if you can do that with a "clefty" as I dont really know anything about that side of things
Might help...might not...just an option!
Hi all
a quick one from me too. sleep still eludes me but otherwise things are ok.
leyla i think what she says in the ncss is that because part of changing your sleep habits/routines involves not taking the path of least resistance (whether that be feeding to sleep or something else) you'll be up for some difficult times in the short-term.
speaking of difficult, dd's crying and i have to try get her back to sleep. may bbl...
So over having a cold. And my supply has gone down so much, its freaking me out. I'm back on flaxseed oil so here's hoping that my milk comes back in a day or two. Took a pg test today because of absence of AF (Very very paranoid, seems dh and I are super fertile) and got a BFN, thank God. Also 1st wedding anniversary, pretty much a bummer. DH had uni all day, home for half an hour and then to work. I made him a bit of a special dinner to take and wrote him a poem but big whoop. I guess I just thought we should do something special.... Or even some flowers. I'm not usually big on presents and so forth but its our wedding anniversary..
Nettie- can you mix the panadol with formula? might help.
Janine- Soo glad to hear Ci's clearing up and you're having such a good time together. Lila and I play a silly game when she's on her tummy. She puts her face down looking at me and I do the same next to her.... Then I turn away and turn back really quickly saying "Helllooooo Lila" and we both have a good chuckle. Sometimes we get in a giggling loop where neither of us can stop laughing at the other one. Good times.
Still not rolling over! Should I worry??
Nettie - You are a very lucky girl with Liam's self settling. I hope that he is starting to feel a little better now. I had the same problem with Jack and panadol. Have not found a solution yet, so let me know if you find something that works.
mgm - I think you are right - I will be in for some difficult times. The past few nights have been soooooo hard. I just feel so tired and then my emotions get all screwy and I feel so resentful that I seem to be the only person I know with a baby that wakes this much! I know that can't be true and they say that everyone exaggerates how long their baby sleeps. But it I just feel so alone sometimes IYKWIM?
Steph - Sounds like you are having a bit of a hard time at the moment and need a big old hug. Sorry that your anniversary was not as special as you hoped it would be. Your game with Lila sounds so cute. Jack was doing a similar thing with me yesterday. He suddenly saw me while he was lying on his tummy on his daddys lap and started playing peek-a-boo by putting his head down and then bringing it back up to make eye contact with me again. I thought he was so cleaver! He cracks me up! You so should not worry about her not rolling yet either - most babies dont roll until 4-5 months. Still HEAPS of time.
hope everyone else is well!
Thanks Leyla, feeling heaps better today. I started taking a honey/garlic/cayenne pepper mixture yesterday out of desperation and what do you know, it has kicked that nasty cold right out of me. And Dh came home from work early, right after Lila went to bed so we got time to ourselves. And my Mei Tai was delivered this morning, I'm so in love...
Liam's rolling all the time now - I put him on his back and without fail he's rolling over... even on the change table or cot!! But then when he gets on his belly, he gets frustrated very quickly so I don't know if he's just getting tired more easily or what... Steph: I wouldn't worry. Liam's the first in my mother's group to roll over and there's babies there nearly 6 months old!
He's also slept the entire night twice now (sorry Leyla & mgm!). Once on Sunday night (but we had him out late on Sat night which was bad....woke up heaps that night) and again last night. Put him in bed at 8pm, and he woke up at 7am... was very good timing as I went in to work this morning for a meeting so we were trialling the morning routine for when I return to work on 15th Sept. Went ok!
Leyla - unfortunately the self settling hasn't continued :( We tried it again last night and he refused.. Ah well... another time perhaps! Having said that, he's still really easy to settle.
Steph & Leyla - those games sound adorable! DH is better at playing than I am...
Steph - do you think you can mix the panadol with formula?? That would work if I could!
Anyway - only got about 15 mins on here and must catch up on my other threads so will do more personals tomorrow or Fri...
Sorry, no time for personals but just wanted to ask if anyone else's hair is falling out? Mine has started in the last week or so.
Also, anyone else NOT got AF yet? I'm wondering where it is!
Baxter rolled this morning in his cot, only the once, wouldn't repeat it no matter how much I pleaded with him!
SG
xo
hi everyone, no time for personals here either
but shoegal - i haven't had af yet and don't expect to for some time, since it took over a year to return after having ds. i think hair falling out may go with breastfeeding? i'm sure i've heard of this happening before.
nettie i have serious sleep envy!!
and on that note... leyla if it helps, you're definitely not the only one with a frequently-waking baby. i'm so sick of my own sleep problems i won't go into them again but  i know how it feels...
mgm - wow! Over a year! I hope mine comes before then as we are hoping TTc #2 around the time Baxter is 1.
Thanks for that.
Brady
xo
hey
No Af here either... and im sure im going to go bald too.
MJ hasnt slept longer then 6hrs and doesnt sleep weill in general..
Finally getting our 4mths needles tomrrow, only 6 weeks late
My hairdresser warned me about the falling out hair thing. I'm malting a lot - but have a really thick head of hair so I won't miss a million strands here or there! Apparently it's a hormonal thing and some of my mothers group have got their hair thinning out a lot too. My hairdresser tells me that the worst of it is when it starts growing back in and you get lots of shorter pieces in the mix which means your hair will be all over the shop!
Mine's not thin, but it's certainly uncontrollable!
Mgm - the sleeps aren't consistent. Last night he went down at 8pm, woke at 12.30 am - then at 4.15 am and again at 8 am. I did my first night feed in AGES... I did the 4.15 am one... felt buggered all day too! I know - poor me! At least I can empathise now! ;) He's barely had any sleep all day today - probably no more than an hour ALL DAY so I'm not sure what tonight will bring :o
Hi guys,
Just quickly, I'm malting majorly too, which is annoying cause I have a weird irrational aversion to wet strands of stray hair on me....and I'm now getting them all the time....
yup, I know...I'm weird! but hey, we all have to be good at something!
Sleep wise for us...had a few minor wind issues with BJ the past few nights...give him his bottle, burp the **** out of him, he goes to sleep, then 15 minutes later he's awake needing to burp again....the worst it got was he went to bed at 7:30 one night, and at 11pm was still going!
Most night's its about an hour though, and I have a feeling thats its actually overtiredness kicking on not wind...he's the kind of bub that would burp if you burped him whether he was arking up about it or not...so I think whats happening is we are missing his window by about 10 minutes then we have to wait for the wake cycle to end (about 40 minutes) then he crashes again.
Once asleep he either goes through til 2am and has a dummy return then through til 6ish for another dummy return then up at 7:30, or through til 5am (finding his own dummy til then) then has a feed then back to sleep til 7:30.
Then its bit more bottle, then cereal at 8:15ish, then back in bed about 9am til 11am (then bottle), up til about 1:30 has a snooze if we are out, bottle about 2-2:30 then back down til about 5pm, then up, bottle, play, cereal, bath, bottle, bed (7:30).
A couple of times this week I've not gotten home for arvo sleep til about 3ish and he's slept through til 6pm when I've woken him.
Hey all....
Wow all you have great sleepers !! lucky girls
Welll we had needles today, poor thing. bit clingy now but didnt actually cry with the needle, just looked at the lady like what the?
I hate hair on me too, but it just everywhere!!! and i also have the short fluff regrowth very annoying!!
COPIED FROM OTHER THREAD (In case you can't be bothered reading twice!)
well..that kinda all went to crud...
I mentioned that BJ has been a bit fussy at bedtime and we were assuming it was wind (cause if we got him up and burped him, he'd burp....) but I've come to the conclusion that he would burp if we patted him on the back whether wind was bothering him or not, and that I thought it was overtiredness so I was gonna aim for an earlier bedtime (it's usually 7:30). Well, he was just finishing what he wanted of his bottle at 6:40 and had lovely dopey/drowsey eyes, and blinks that lasted a couple of seconds....and DH got home from work (earlier than I expected), and came in to let us know he was home...well of course BJ went spacko at seeing daddy, smiles and laughing and squealing etc, and instead of being asleep by about 6:45, he finally fell asleep (after displaying the exact same behaviours as previous nights at 7:30.
Now dont get me wrong, I love that BJ and DH have such a wonderful connection, but I wanted to test the overtiredness theory tonight and it was all looking promising....grrr....nevermind, I've put my foot down and told DH that BJ will be in bed at 6:30 tomorrow night and thats final!
He did take a little less time to settle tonight than in previous nights, suggesting that I MAY be onto something as he was going to bed earlier tonight and then took less time to settle...will see tomorrow night I guess.
COPIED POST:
well....that was a very interesting night.
After falling asleep at 7:30...Benjamin stayed asleep til 1:30am...I got up and was on my way into him when he settled himself to sleep again...then woke at 3:45 and I had to give him his dummy cause he couldnt reach it (his neck didnt extend that far!), re-settled himself at 6:00am and stayed asleep til 8am...then had 120ml of bottle....
I'm impressed!!!
COPIED POST:
well...since I'm the only one posting at the moment, I'll give you another update.
We put the bedtime routine into action alot eariler today...he had a bottle at 4 (120ml), played til 5:15, had his cereal, in the bath at 5:40, out of the bath after a play at 6pm, into the bedroom, 180ml of bottle, into bed at 6:15, asleep at 6:30.....Im in shock!
We'll see how the rest of the night goes, and tomorrow....
3 nights in a pattern, so I'm not counting my chickens til monday night, but, if this keeps up, DH will have to just see him before work in the mornings, and on the weekends which is a pity, but, if its best for Bj so be it!
My hair is falling out some but I just put it down to the fact I'm wearing it up more so it all comes out once a day rather than during the course of the day. No real AF for me either, I've taken two pg tests in the past month because I'm so uber-paranoid. A little bleed yesterday but nothing...
Lila's sleep has been a little irregular lately but we're getting 7-12 hours. Pretty big range. And she's having short naps in the afternoon now for DH, about an hour.
Started new job, its really good. Pleasant. Hard work but fun. Most of the customers are regulars and I do things like help people pick out quilt fabrics. Fun. And busy. I'll be working 2/3 days a week so that will be ok. And DH is so good with lila.
Ack she's upset gtg. Hope all are well, would like to hear from you all...
Our update:
Had SIL & a niece (there are 4 kids, but the rest were away elsewhere) over for tea tonight for Roast Beef and we all had a lovely time!
But Liam's really unsettled now & we've had to get him up to give him a bottle and try to re-settle him after going in about 7 times since 8pm to re-settle with the dummy after we put him in bed. I hope he settles down now because I've been sick with a migraine all day and am ready for him to sleep through the night tonight so I can get some rest!
Steph - that job sounds sweet! It's so good when you can find a job you like...
Hope everyone else is doing ok :hello: and I'll check back in tomorrow.
Shoegal I still haven't gotten AF, but thought you should know you don't need to have an AF to be able to conceive so I have been told. Are you still intending to be breastfeeding Baxter around 1? I'd just start temping and TTC when you are planning to and hope for the best.
I got AF with DS after 4 months and no sign of it yet this time around, I'm kinda hoping it stays away for at least another 4 months until I return to work at least.
GTG DS wants me to put on a DVD.
well my chief babysitter (MIL) is sick so i've a few long days ahead of me. have a sore neck and back and am generally feeling whingy!
dd hasn't repeated her rolling success but has discovered her feet and loves playing with them. unfortunately she's scratched her head to bits - cradle cap's all but gone but her scalp must still be very itchy. may go see mchn about it because it's really hard to stop her (she'll be wearing mittens tonight but they 'll come off pretty quick).
nettie is liam doing any better? babies go through all sorts of unsettled periods and changes in routine, often for no apparent reason. hope you get some rest soon.
steph glad your job's going well.
babywrangler sounds like you're doing really well on the sleep front. can you come wrangle dd for me?
fire we haven't heard from you for a while. hope all's well.
and hi to beatrix, shoegal, leyla and grubi.
wishing you all a good night (especially you, leyla, how are things going?)
heeheee Mgm happy to come and wrangle, but if you aren't in victoria we have a problem :D
Hi all. I've read but am too tired to respond but just know that I think of you and have read how you're going. :) Things are absolute crud here, I had a nervous breakdown today which was pretty freaky. I'm totally sleep deprived though, it's pathological now and I'm not coping well with it at all anymore. So I haven't had much to say. It would just be the same complaint. He naps great, but at night, he wakes every hour and needs to be fed back to sleep. I get literally NO sleep. It isn't an exaggeration. I am going to remedy this shortly, as I have the NCSS on the way from ebay. The library copy has a waiting list.
So yeah, I'm a dysfunctional mess. DH is at work twice a week now, for four hours each time. I know, but it's so bad here that it's slow and steady back to real life again. I hope to try to settle Ci instead of feeding him back to sleep, so he can figure out how to settle himself the way he does in the daytime. We will be starting that in a few days, so I'm prepared for some shocking evenings where it takes even longer for him to get to sleep. I've also transitioned him from the fitball bouncing to the rocking chair and he really didn't like that transition at all. But I've had to rearrange things now that he is getting older to fit myself a little more.
Better go and get some sleep, this is his best sleep stretch - all three hours of it
