    Hehe my first first lol

I'm losing my patience with Phoebe today and it's only 9:30am. She ended up in bed with me lastnight. I have no clue what was wrong with her but she was screaming like high pitched. I managed to get a few hours sleep with her but when she woke this morning it was on for young and old. The screaming, tantrums and needyness is driving me wonky. Please god please let it be a damn tooth. The only other thing I thought it might be is that steve went back to work yesterday.

Can't do personals I hear her waking. Have a good day girls

Okay so in I go to see if she's waking- she kinda was but still looked really sleepy so I picked her up and layed down on my bed with her. She nuzzles right into my bb's lazily opens her eyes, gives me a huge grin and goes back to sleep.

Now how am I supposed to stay cranky after that. Cheeky little imp!!

Hey All, (or few as the case may be!)
Oh Tiffany, I know how you feel...even when they drive you bananas they do something so adorable! Hopefully it is a tooth and she will get back to normal soon.
Hey Mel, Olivia is driving you spare too! It must suck when you think you have the sleeping down and then...have you tried letting her cry it out? Or do you think its teeth or a mummy thing? I know Beau has woken a bit in the night recently but it has been so out of character that i have been going in to him - and then his two big teeth popped thru. I am making a potato bake/cabanossi/egg thing for tea (sounds gross but its yum!) and I did lovely organic soft boiled eggs before and wanted to give B some! How weird! I havent tried but yet.
We are good - he is mr no sleep today but making such cute talky sounds and trying to wave all the time.

Yep..Olivia is driving me nuts and the sleeping is killing me. I have tried letting her cry but its not working. Maybe our bubs are just going through some phase...hopefully.
Beside the egg question...just wanted to find out if anyone knows if Olivia standing on her toes is going to be a problem for her. She refuses to stand flat foot.

    Heys ladies,

Have been having router issues, and missed a few posts!

Mel - I've started Pip on some yolk, we had boiled eggs for brunch last Sunday so I gave him a well-cooked crumb of egg. Will continue on the weekend next (I don't like doing it without the car here).
As for standing on toes, as in her toes are curled under? Or on tippie-toes? Pip has been standing with his toes curled under, but he's storting himself out with that and uncurling them for "steps"

Jen - well I hope you got some great buys!

Tiff - hope all is getting better in your home.

Us - well Pip is crawling, standing, climbing ... ARGGGGGHHHHHHHhhhh in general! I can't leave him alone! He got too close to the dog yesterday and got growled at, found him behind the teev today (in the space of about 30 secs!) and has rolled a few times onto corners. Lots of screaming and looking at the birdies here!

The countdown is on - around 23 days until our wedding!!!!! Sorta scary!

    Hi girls,

Sorry I have been MIA, I missed the start of the new thread, LOL!

Well, I am going insane with lack of sleep too. I thought they were supposed to get better as they got older. I have stopped counting how many times a night I am getting up, I get too upset about it! I have never been so tired in my life. I can't wait for Friday- DH is home, well we're going up to his mum and dads for the first time in forever, so I'm hoping I'll get a rest with all the rellies meeting Lil for the first time! They can play pass the baby while I have a snooze

Kaz, woohooo at only a few weeks til your wedding, how exciting for you!!!!
Lil's into everyhting too, she's figured out how to open the kitchen drawers so we've had a few trapped fingers. I have them taped shut now until we an get some drawer locks...She's also bumped her chin so hard on the tiles she's got a bruise on it. And she's got little bruises on her arms and legs just from crawling and exploring, it looks like I've been pinching her or something!!

Mel, Lily stands on her tip toes too. I think its from her being in her walker though. I have heard they can do that to babies. I just make sure we have some hand holding walking every day too so that she walks flat on her feet too. What about if you put soft soled shoes on her, I wonder if that would make a difference?

Tiffany, I can sympathise with the no sleep. I have been woken that many times the past few nights I wondered if it was worth going back to sleep half the time. I would just get woken in an hour or so anyhow...I hope Pheobe settles for you soon.

Jen, Lil is getting cuter by the day too, she's lucky she is so cute, or I'd permanently ship her off to my mum!! She has learnt to wave too and waves to anyone, even the tv is someone is waving .

Ok gotta go and be domestic. I won't be around for a few days going up to Qld. I hope everyone has a wonderful few days and that our bubbas are all little angels!

    Hi everyone,

been away for a few days recharging the batteries which has been great. Took DH to see Spamalot last night and nearly wet ourselves laughing.

Not much happening around here. Reid is all recovered from his croup and back to his usual cheery self. He's still sleeping 12 hours straight at night, definitely takes after his mum

This afternoon we had a bit of fun, I had him in his playpen and he went all quiet. I walk out to see what he's up to and he's had a major poo explosion! It was everywhere and he thought it was great to fingerpaint in. Blergh. Needless to say both he and the mats got a thorough bath. I did have to laugh though at the expression on his face. DH was nearly throwing up and I was just cracking up LOL

In other news I started provera today, all going well I have AF in 12 days time and then embryo transfer should be in early Feb. I've been keeping my mind off it by trying out my sewing skills. I haven't sewn anything since Year 8 textiles so I was pretty pleased to create THIS

It's my first attempt at a Honeyboy nappy. Mum showed me by making THIS ONE first

I hope everyone else is well and the heat isn't knocking you all around too much.

    Hey girls,
I'm an April mumma but hang out with the May girls as that's when I was due.

I was just wondering, are any of your tykes walking yet? Blake's been cruising furniture for close to a month, I'm just after any of your experience as to how long he may be off walking, it's a scary scary thought!

    TIA!

Hi guys, wow I just can't keep up with the posts sometimes,he,he. Just got back from our 3wk stay in SA with family, loved it. Got to go out whilst Nanna babysat....YAY. Though flying to flights & a 2.5hrs wait at the airport with a baby on your own has knobs on it - esp when they have just learnt to crawl.
Think I've said this before, but Charlie crawls now, trying to climb on things - needless to say several falls & lots of tears. Have 6teeth & another 2 coming through. They just don't seem to stop!! Sleeping better now we are home YAY. Getting set for our move to Roma in March/April...this is going to be a big one with a baby & we are selling our house & car & making a real fresh start. Hope to buy a house up there, excited but very scared at the same time.

Kel, hope you are getting some rest. Charlies sleep went up the creek a couple wks ago & we now are back to one feed, but it's quick & he's back in bed asleep so currently just going with that.

Melissa, hope you get some better sleep too. Charlie still stands on his toes, unless trying to climb up on something. But if I hold onto him & get him to take some steps its usually on his toes & tbh I hadn't thought anything of it. hmmm, might look into that.

Yeah it's hard to get mad at Charlie too, they are just sooo very cute. ATM he gets up onto his knees & bounces along to music or even just an ad on the telly. Very cute.

Ooooh, got to go - hope everyone else is well. Sorry Ashlee, can't help with that question...no walking here & I'm hoping there will not be any for a while, he,he.

    Hi girls,

long time since i have been in here but have been reading all ur posts. I can't believe our little ones are now at the 9 month mark, it seems like yesterday that they were just newborns. well luke is such a terror and loves to get into everything. he's not walking yet but pulling himself up on anything and everything he can. we still only have 2 teeth (he got them at 5mths). the top ones seem to be playing silly buggers with us - i just wish they come soon.

other than that not much else to report except that he starts day care, 2 days a week in 2 weeks time and then i'm back to uni (the joys of trying to get back into studying). at least my house may look a bit more respectible for the little time that he will be at day care

well i'm hoping that i will be able to keep posting and chatting to u girls. bye for now

Hi Iona, great to hear from you...good luck with studying.
    Hi All,
Last night was revolting, Olivia was awake from about 130am, after everything we put her in with us an hour later. She cries in her sleep, she tosses and turns so much that we hardly got a wink. I put her back to her cot at 530 with another bottle which she finished all 270mls of (wtf) and she had the best sleep til just before 9. Now shes being a cheeky little monkey. Shes sitting here looking at me with a huge smile and a wad of dribble hanging off her chin...how can I be upset?
Am hoping this is just a phase...she wakes up so tired sometimes.
    Hope you are all well
    Love melissa

Mel, we brought Pip into our bed @ 4am too ... DF was up at 3:30 to him and said at 4am that he couldn't work out what was wrong with him (teething / tummy pains cry) so I then got up and brought him into bed - asleep within 5mins!

but he's not feeding well - only taking 3x240ml bottles during the day, then decides around 11pm he wants another one. I can't get him to take another bottle during the day, nor more in the bottles (270mls Mel!!!! wow!!!)

BUT! last night he pulled himself up onto his pusher thingy, and was taking steps!!! (OK, I may have been on falling watch, but he took steps!!!!)

    Hi Guys,
God not more wake ups! You poor girls, is that what is in store for me too? Eeks! We are still sleeping well here for the moment, 6-7pm til 6am usually so no complaints here!
Mel, Beau has 330ml at night as his last feed, usually it is staged, but he finishes it all, and since he has been sleeping till 6am not 5am like before. I think he is a massive guts!
When you guys, Kaz and Mel, bring the bubbas into bed - is it in between you guys? I cant imagine doing that with Beau as he is EVERYWHERE in his cot so I was just wondering....
Hey Iona glad to hear from you and your cheeky boy too. He sounds like my monkey pulling himself up on everything.
Erin - thats great you guys are moving, how exciting!
Beau has discovered he can hit his head on the wall if he sits against it! Scary!
Is it just me or do you guys like the baby teeth at the bottom, i dont want the others to come down fully beacuse I think he will look so grown up! Not our little babies anymore.
Ok wishing everyone who isnt sleeping at night great sleeps today, nanna naps for all!
    x

    Yay for Pip!!

Luke had a terrible afternoon yesterday, he was a wake from 11am to 4:30 and even tho he was so tired he wouldn't go to sleep. Even my mum tried and i also drove home but nope wouldn't drop off.

Hey Jen, when we bring the moo to bed shes inbetween us. We seperate our pillows so she has space. Most of the time shes good...seems to sleep well in our bed Might look at putting her in a toddler bed...just a thought. She sleeps well in my dads bed too. Last night was just as thrilling!!! In bed at 930, up at 1230, bottle at 1 and asleep then awake just before 5...another bottle (OMG) and asleep til 9 in our bed. I dont know whats happened to her. As soon as she started crawling and after we got back from camping. GGGGGrrrrr. Shes 9 and a half months old and shes having 4 hourly bottles overnight. I think I created a ....... Shes getting more teeth too..bucket loads of dribble and woke up with red cheeks this morning.
Thismorning I asked DF if he was still keen on #2...he didnt answer me!!! That was after our little growl at each other. We are both so tired, but he has to get up for work.

Oh and I forgot to say, good luck on the wedding Kaz...let me know how it goes. Ours is about 11 weeks away
