Well after a few pretty hard, teary days, with dreadful mood swings and crying til I puked, I think I'm over the worst of this flu and moodyness (for now, LOL!) and Lily is on the mend too. She's teething now (of course!) getting her four incisor teeth. She dribbling like crazy and has bitten through 3 dummies and flattened them!! My poor little monkey. She's been sleeping better with only 2 wake up in the past few nights. DH took last night off work too and looked after Lily all night and the morning. So I got a great sleep (I think I over slept!) and actually slept in til 9am!! My house is actually close to back to normal and I've eaten properly for the first day in about a week, and I made Lil a propper lunch and dinner, not just tinned spaghetti or cheese sandwiches! Kinda lucky she was sick too cause she was off her food anyway, LOL.
Disgirl, that's how I was feeling by the time I was due to finish work and I was only working 2-3 days a week. I took a day off a week at the end!
LOL @ Ben and his toys. It's always the way isn't it, you spend hundreds of $$ on some things they hardly play with and then it's the cheapest things you get that they love. Thats why I don't really buy expensive toys. Besides I don't have an outdoors area to put big toys! But really Lily is happiest with a basket full of clothes, seriously! She empties and refills it repetitively and then sits in it and sings 'row row row your boat'!
We're only planning on 2. I always said I want 4, but after this pg, I don't think I could do it again. I really don't like being pg. Even though my pg are actually pretty easy, it just doesn't suit me. You know how some women absolutely glow when they're pg, well I'm soooo not one of them!
Woooohoooo on Japan!! You lucky bugger!
Jen, this weather is depressing! It's so cold and wet and miserable. I did some washing today (we're getting desperate for undies and jarmies!) in the hope it would be like yesterday and just be grey all day, but NOOOOOOOOO it started p!ssing down about half an hour after I put it out. So Lily's wearing a tracksuit to bed, I had to hand wash a pair of undies for me and DH and dry it in front of the heater and I'm wearing clothes to bed...at least I won't have to get dressed in the morning, hahaha!!!!
Nope we have no names set in stone yet. We have a few options, but DH keeps on changing his mind on if he likes them or not, so I'm just going to wait til bubs is born. So far we have Owen, Lachlan or Callum these names keep coming up so I think they are the likely options. Middle names Jeffery/James/Jack/Matthew. But then it will most likely change anyway, so don't be surprised if when we have bubs he ends up named Freddy or something!
LOL @ your pg scare! Although it wouldn't be a bad thing for you, it's probably better timing if you wait til after you sell and move house, and maybe even settle in a little!
I'll say it quietly, but 'good luck with selling your house'.
Mel, I hope you can sort out Olivias skin problem soon. Lil's had a really bad rash around her mouth for about 3wks now, but I asked the pharmisist and then the dr about it and they just said its from teething and her constantly being wet around the mouth. And to use sorbalene on it, so that's what I've been doing, but since she's been on antibiotics it's gotten worse.
Ugh, hun a kebab.....at the moment I couldn't think of anything worse!!!! I hope you're feeling better. And that'll teach ya! LOL!
I was thinking of getting a few new tops and things for myself, but I only have 3 wks to go (no more than 5!!!) til baby is here and I'll need all new stuff again, so I didn't bother. But I sooo need some nice new clothes. I'm so sick of maternity clothes, these maternity clothes! I feel like all I've worn for two years is mat. clothes!
Anyway, my little lady is getting the grumps and needs to go to bed. If I've missed anyone, I'm sorry, and hi! This has taken me an hour to type out, LOL!
