    Hi!

Well, we're all moved in! Still heaps and heaps to unpack but the basics are done and the house is tidy, clean and organised! We just don't have much in it yet...I think I'll be unpacking for the next month! LOL! Because it's all in the garage though we're just going to bring stuff in a box at a time so the house stays tidy..
I'm loving it though and the kids are as well. They got puffed running around the lounge and family room today! Hehe.
The weather has been gorgeous which has been good for the kids playing outside. The people who we bought off left a swing set here so the kids have been loving that as well!

Disgirl - Hope you have a great night out tonight! LOL at Ben liking Thomas but not seeing the show! My boys love it too! It's a boy/train thing I think! You can have the potty around - he may show some interest. Dylan tell us when he's done poos/wees in his nappy now so over summer we'll probaby have the potty around for him in case he wants to try and use it...not sure if he will want to try because of having his older brother though...we'll see...definitely no rush though...

Jen - I completely agree - when they're good they're good but those tantrums are so hard to deal with sometimes...Dylans taking to kicking his legs when I change his bum too which is annoying. But most of the time I can't get over how cute he is...LOL!
Yeah at getting your house all looking great - I think it's going to take us quite some time to furnish our house...we're so poor now with a big mortgage! LOL! No rush though...It will all happen when it happens!
Hope work went ok! Glad you guys are enjoying the beach! Yucko on the sand though!

Mel - Good for you on your decision! At least might be worth looking into some different carers anyway - you might find someone else your more comfortable with.
Gosh - I can't imagine rocking Dylan now...no wonder your hip was sore! It doesn't take much for me to get an ache or pain this p/g! LOL! (I must be getting old! hehe)
In saying that my sciatic pain has really settled down today without lifting so much stuff...

Kaz - Sounds like a good idea getting Pip used to the potty...I'm to lazy to do that now - will only think about it probably when he's running around in the nuddy! LOL! Ooh I was looking up moogoo on the internet the other day...might have to try some out! Bugger on Pip having a bad poo...Yucko!

Kel - How come you've changed you name? Louis just did that after being sick - ate and ate and ate - he was running around in his pj bottoms today with no top on and he had cute little love handles! Hehehe. He looks like such a little boy now that he's nearly 3!
Sounds like Liams going through a growth spurt as well!
Glad that your feeling more confident now! It will just keep getting easier...I'm sure I'll be nervous about getting around with 3 but you just learn how to manage I suppose!
Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned!

Ok...better get a bit more done and then head to bed...another big day unpacking tomorrow! Chat later!

    Hi All.
Wow am tired today - we baby sat my Dh's neice and nephew last night and yesterday and they only just left now - the little boy (he is 10) was up at 5am too! Earlier than Beau!
I have just sat down to read the paper and check my emails and Beau is waking up Grrrr!
Kel - It took me a sec to realise who you were! Sounds like Liam is in his feeding frenzy stage huh? At least the bfing is going well - thats a blessing - I am sure Kris is right - you will get the hang of going out with 2, just even more organisation required however! I am fretting about DH going back to work tomorrow as we are so more isolated than what we were iYKWIM? The house up here is great - no regrets - we spent the morning with all the kids out the back of our place in the lake with buckets and spades and boogie boards and stuff - cant beat it.
Kris - We did the same thing with our boxes in our cabin - it has worked OK - I am like you and like to keep the house neat while unpacking and do it as you need it. Thats funny about the kids being puffed from running around the living room! He he!
Dis - I havnt got around to even buying any swimming nappies yet! Do you reccommend any? Bless sweet sleep - good on you for stocking up now. Hope you had fun at your girlie night out.

    Hey All,
Jen- yep am so happy with my decision and its even made me sleep better. Oh your house sounds so good. Loads of things to do..and a lake. i would be there every day. Wow that kid got up early, hope you get a sleep in tomorrow. I got a swim nappy from Big W that you just wash. We need to get the next size up though coz shes grown so much. I do have the huggies disposables on standby though.

DG- glad youre getting some sleep. Hope you had a great girls night out. i have a potty thats bright pink...am going to get it out soon too coz olivia has decided that she can tell me that shes doing wee wees and points to her nappy. Might waight til the warmer weather....I dunno!!!

Kaz- I got my moogoo delivery not so long ago. I ordered it over the net this time instead of driving all the way to boronia...a fair way from me. It came in 2 days. I got a tub of the moisturiser...love it and I got the goats and cows milk soap for Olivia. It lathers up really nicely and I think it might last a fair while. And the soap smells lovely.

Kel- yeah I didnt know who you were for a second!!! Am glad things are settling in ok for you. Its starting to dawn on me that there will be another one of us in less than 9 weeks and had a bit of a panic when I realised dh dint know exactly where things were for Olivia. I'm sure he'll be fine, but I just got all paniky!!! Then theres a bit of anxiety about how I'm going to cope and how Olivia will be. Shes started touching my bbs and last night she was giving them kisses. I wonder if she smells milk.

Kris- glad your move went well. We moved her 3.5 years ago and still have boxes in the garage...probably stuff we should get rid of!!!! Will have to come past and have a squiz...am so nosey!!!! And thats great they left the swing set.

Well, we are sitting out on our new deck/pegola, enjoying the afternoon. Have been to MILs this morning for lunch. Hopefully our driveway will get finished off tomorrow and then I have to clean the house....again coz of all the concrete dust and dirt that has come in. Thats all we are doing for renos this year...yay. Our house is almost finished. Just outside stuff to do.

Ok, better go. Have a great evening

    hello ladies

My coz came to visit today with her 3 kids (14/8/10 or summat like that) and they had heaps of fun playing with Pip (& his toys!). We were going to go on Puffing Billy with them, but he was asleep and you know what they say about sleeping babies ...

Kris - great news on the house, and the swing set! Bonus! Guess you'll have enough room for the toys you bought last xmas now

OOOOH and speaking of xmas ... I put a heap of stuff on layby last week - a nativity set (different through - preggers Mary on the ass with Joseph leading) and a snowdome Plus some ornaments

Mel - sounds idyllic - hasn't the weather been gorgeous the past couple of days? Yay on the driveway - woohoo! I also ordered some stuff online of all stuff for me Except for a cow for Pip! I even got a t-shirt to wear whenever we have meets so the nappy people know me! The oil cleansing method seems OK, I have rosacea and am hoping this will help ... they also gave me a sample of the anti-aging cream. We use the oatmeal soap for Pip - it was great with the nappy rash on his legs last week - and for us! We now only use goat milk or cow milk soap in the house for everything bar the anti-bacterial for the kitchen ... I love the smell of it. How cute/weird/canny of Livvy to sniff your BBs!

Jen - if you get the huggies swimmers, you can (gently) rinse them out if there's no poos and dry them for the next time. Must say it sounds gorgeous - can we come visit

Kel - yes, was strange reading your post, was thinking "there's another Liam?" and then saw your sig!!!!

DG - did you enjoy the final yesterday?

    Anyhows, time for tea!

Hehehe, sorry for confusing everyone with the name change!! But I wanted to have a signature with both my bubs names in it. I had been thinking of changing my name for a while but just didn't know what to, and this one is a mixture of my babies names and initial our surname.

Jen, Your place does sound lovely. Lucky Beau to have the lake right there to paddle and play in. And how great for you to be able to just pop over and have a great place to play.
Yeah I can understand being a bit antsy about being on your own now. Do you have a car? Especially if you don't have a car to get around, or know the streets and stuff. It's out of your comfort zone.

Mel, I have found these first weeks really tough. It's starting to settle a bit now, but I'm still having moments of being overwhelmed. I just keep on thinking there's two of them and only one of me. How cute with Olivia touching your bb's, that's so sweet. Maybe she can smell your milk? Lily couldn't care less about mine, LOL! She isn't even phased when I feed Liam. Though she did watch me onw time for a while yesterday, she was up on the lounge and had her face right up next to Liams, looking at what he was doing, though I think she was more interested in what HE was doing, not the bf'ing.

As for us, we had a loverly day at the party. It was at a big regional park, with heaps of play equipmant and stuff. Lily had a ball and Liam was good for me. Though it was 34 degrees! And blowing a gale! Lil fell asleep in the car and is still sleeping!! And Liam is snoozing too, yay!!! Ok gonna go and enjoy the silence of having both babies asleep!
    ......Spoke too soon, Lil's up!
Hi to everyone else and hope you are all well.

    Hi girls!

Kel, you had my confused too! You sound so much more confident now. Well done on getting out of the house with the kids on your own. Wasn't yesterday HOT? But then about 4:30pm the temp dropped really quickly to make sleeping easy last night. Today's completely different!

Kaz, I did enjoy the final. For some reason, I'd decided during the week I was going for Hawthorn. DH was going for Geelong, but we enjoyed the game. We usually have a GF party, but this year I just couldn't be bothered so it was just the three of us.

Mel, Olivia sounds like she's well ahead of Ben for being ready for the potty. He's got no idea. When he does do a poo, he denies it Doesn't want to take away from his play time to get changed. Typical male, you smell it, but then he's like "Nup, wasn't me!"

Jen, we used the Big W ones for swimming lessons and last summer, but I bought some of the Huggies ones for now until I get around to buying some bigger sizes for Ben. Haven't tried the huggies yet, but the Big W ones were fine and they were only about $7.
I think we're all going to have to come to your house for a play date

Kris, Yay on the move! Sounds like the boys are really enjoying the extra space. I like your plan of only unpacking a bit at a time. I think the boys and their trains thing is very true! We've never pushed "boy" type things on Ben, but he much prefers trains and cars to dolls. He does like pushing his dolls around in a pram though....but I suspect it's because the pram has wheels! LOL His latest obsession is Pixar's Cars. I'm really glad because that's the theme we're doing for his Big Boy room.

We had a lovely weekend! Shopping Sat morning, GF Sat afternoon and then my girls night out. It was great! I had a mocktail and a milk shot The girls didn't want me to feel left out. Can you believe that one of the other girls is due the exact same day as me?!?!? Her little one and Ben are only four days apart too. It was so nice to feel like a person again instead of being 'mum'. I even stayed out past midnight!!!! Sunday we just spent vegging out with the inlaws. Why is it that Mondays come around so fast?

Ladies - Kimbaz is winding down her business and has huge sales (25% off) on all her stock .. including swim nappies. I use the monkey doodlez ones from her and they are brillo. Have a look in the MPM thread.

Other than that, we had visitors yesterday and Pip helped me with the sweeping! He broomed under the bed! How very clever.

ahhh DG - sounds like you had a wonderful time. I've just started with putting the potty in the shower, so he can "sit" while in the shower. He's been having fun filling it with water But he does also pull at his nappy when its wet!

Kel - sounds like a lovely day. And that you're coping well

Now hopefully Pip will sleep for a while!

    Hi Ladies!
Wow all of you are most welcome for a playdate/visit - although atm its howling windy and there are waves on the lake! Its kinda scary when its like this and you are home alone(with bubs and dogs tho) - DH is back at work today so we are trying to be tough!
Kel - No car - I cant drive - I am GONG to learn - before we have another bubba because that would be horrendous i think! How sweet Lil watching Liam feed, they have got you in numbers dont they? Youre bigger but!! Glad you had a nice time at the party with your little poppets!
Dis - Cute in your "mocktails' how weird about the dates of the other girl and your bubs too? Dont balme you not wanting a GF party - hope you guys enjoyed it none the less. We are having one this weekend (we are NRL folk) - have to put my thinking cap on cause they all have food allergies!!!
Mel- Far out Olivia is clever telling you she has done wees! Toilet training should be a snap for her. Clever girl. Beau just stabs my nipples with his finger tip in the bath and says "tun" for button. He also likes wedging his hand down between my bbs in my bra and tries to say "boobies" and laughs. Weirdo.
Kaz - Cute Pip with the potty in the shower - B wont even have a shower....and he hates the massive bath here - I think he will do all his bathing in the lake!
Us - Apart from the screaming winds I have a scary teething baby too - he is a shocker atm - I am glad DH saw how bad he was yesterday so i dont sound like Im exaggerating!! He just climbs my legs and opens the fridge CONSTANTLY looking for yoghurt! poor little man. It is so windy here - I went to get the washing in yesterday and it blew my dress over my head!! We had just been for a swim and I had taken my cossie off so the neighbours got a good view!!!!

well we had the worst night last night.little terror. I suppose it didnt help that yesterday she wouldnt sleep at my mums so we went home and she slept til 430. She wouldnt go to bed at 8...fair enough, but also had issues with her bottle. She wouldnt have it at all. So ended up falling asleep in my arms at 930. At 230 she was awake and screaming, trying to climb out of the cot, so I brought her in bed with us, screamed kicked tanties. I laid her on the couch with me....no good, her room..worse. By 430 we had had enough, so I popped her in her cot and shut the door. It took her half an hour of screaming for her to fall asleep, then woke up in a happy mood at 8am. I was so tired today. Dh had to get up at 6, so hes had less sleep.

Tonight I have put her to bed and shut the door, she grizzled a bit but has fallen asleep. Hoping that shes reasonably tired and will sleep ok. Shes having so much trouble with these teeth. Panadol and neurofen arent really helping. I went to get something a little stronger but I need a script. Oh well, hopefully not long.

Ok, too much computer, my eyes are getting heavy

    Hi!

    Long time no post!

Jen - Your place just sounds perfect being so close to the water! Wow! You'll have us all on your doorstep for a holiday soon! LOL! Yep - it's funny watching them run around the house and get tired! Dh said he doesn't want to get furniture for the room now - just wants the kids to be able to play in it! LOL - probably just as well as it will be some time before we can afford to furnish it! hehe.
In regards to swim nappies - me being the lazy person I am just used huggies disposable swim nappies...
Oh how funny...sorry, had to laugh out loud with the story of your dress going over your head - hehehe. I'm sure it wasn't funny for you at the time though...hehehehe.
Sorry to hear that Beau's having trouble with teething...
Gosh, I don't know how you do it without having a car! It must be so hard getting on buses etc

Mel - You'll cope just fine with 2! And Olivia will adjust as well! I really think it's easier when they're closer together from that perspective...I have a feeling I'll have more trouble with Louis now that he's going to be 3 (OMG!) than I will with Dylan - in some ways anyway...
Your welcome at our house anytime Mel!
Sorry to hear you've had trouble with Olivia sleeping...You must be super tired...we had a similiar thing with Dylan last week although didn't last the whole night! Remember the bubs are heading to 18m now so I'm sure it's time for some sort of developmental spurt!
In regards to juice...I don't generally give it - more of a special treat! He loves it though...I think diluted is ok as well...I think it ends up being more of a teeth issue if they have to much...constantly having sugar on the teeth is not good...

Kaz - LOL on room for the toys...I'm starting to get a bit nervous actually...was hoping they'd all fit nicely into the toy room but am thinking a trip to Ikea for some more storage is in order! LOL!
Yeah at laybying some xmas stuff - I'm getting so excited with xmas stuff coming into the shops!! (so are the kids - Dylan points and says Santa!) I'm not sure we'll be cashed up enough to go crazy this year - might have to add a few bits to our collection when they go on sale after xmas for next year! Being a ranch style house though now I'd love to get some lights up!
How cute of Pip to be sweeping under the bed! It's so cute when they help! Dylan likes setting the table and helping me in any other ways he can...

Kel - Sorry to hear your having trouble with Lily - I hope she's on the mend now - it can certainly be a juggle with the two of them needing you...thats great your mum was able to come over and give you a hand though!

Disgirl - Louis and Dylan are loving "cars" as well at the moment...we just got the dvd from bigpond movies and I'm not allowed to send it back yet (although santas bringing them a copy anyway!)
Yeah on having a great night out! Wow at your friend being due the same day - Cindy and I have our first bubs share a birthday and our second are 8 days apart but we're due only a day apart - very strange! LOL!
My boys love splashing water as well - I get them a little bucket outside with some paint brushes and let them "paint" the house or concrete...keeps them occupied for a while and no harm done!

LOL on all the fridge babies...Dylan doesn't bother with that but if I leave the pantry door open now he starts reorganising my cooking stuff shelf...I found a food colouring/food essence bottle on top of each jar I had just before...LOL! Maybe a bit OCD?? hehe.

Have just been busy trying to get organised (which I'm still not - LOL!) We're really enjoying the house though as are the boys!
We had a gorgeous day yesterday - the weather was beautiful so we had lunch outside and took the kids to the park and spent some nice time together...
Dylan is a little cheeky as per usual - he's starting to get really good at his colours - his favourite is purple and now he can say yellow...
Oh and I just realised a few days ago that Dylan has a molar through - LOL...didn't even notice...he's still only got 3 bottom teeth though - so he's up to 8 now...not sure why he's got a molar already and not his 4th bottom teeth but oh well...
They've been having lots of fun playing outside and exploring things!

For Kaz and Mel - I don't know if you're interested but I'm having a get together/Enjo party on Wed 29th Oct at 10.30am...Doesn't matter if you want anything or not but even just pop around for a play...Although Kaz - I assume you'll probably be working...the invitations there anyway!! Otherwise, perhaps we can organise another Monday catch up when your free and the kids can have a play here!

Ok...it's taken me all day to get this post done - and yes, I'm still in my pyjamas! Best got jump in the shower and get dressed - although I wonder now if I'd just get away with the day in pj's?? LOL! Chat later!

    Hey all,

Thanks for the juice info....Will persist on water, although every time Olivia goes to mums, mum does a fresh juice for her...apple celery and carrot. i went to the health nurse today. Another different one so had to explain everything AGAIN, now the lady thinks Olivias hips dont look right and wants me to go back to the orthopaed early.
Also we had another crap night last night, bed at 830, up at 11, up at 1130, awake at 230, in bed with us. Awake from 5am. I have had bug ger all sleep and am so tired and emotional. She now has 2 definate eye teeth and the bottom 2 pushing through. Mum has offered to take her overnight every monday until after the bubs is born, so that might be something to think about.

DH and I did our tax today and I have lost my group certificate. Desperately trying to find it, but cant. Olivia is so ****ey now due to lack of sleep, shes either hitting me or herself....

    ok better go
