    Hi Everybody...
Just got back from playgroup (which is going very nicely thank you!) - there was another little boys 3rd birthday and there was chocolate cake which Beau of course tried to eat like cookie monster which was disaster! He has been such a crank the past two days, especially in the morning which is weird. I think I am going to try and put him down earlier in the evening (than 7:30pm) cause he still awake at 5:45am anyway so maybe he is tired still thats why he is so cranky???/
Kel - I think you are doing so well, dont blame you for getting a bit over it. Totally normal. You will have to get DH to take the kids for a morning or arvo if you can leave some EBM for Liam and go and do something for yourself. You are considerate of DH going to your mums so he should do the same for you!! Going out to dinner was amazing, you appreciate so much once you have kids!! Love dressing up too once in a while - feel like a sexy woman not a yoghurt/vegemite covered mumma.
Dis - What about you with your domestic duties! Are you still on a roll there? Let us know how Benny boy goes in his big bed too. How good you got to have a massage and some retail therapy! I got a surprise tax return last week and am trying to decide what shopping centre I am going to one weekend (solo!) to spend some of it - cant wait!! You must feel great not waking B up of a morning now - how are his sleeps adjusting?
Hi everyone else - hope you are all well x

    hello ladies

Just a quick one, you're all doing so well!

Us - well, Pip's been ill again, I've been ill (I'm actually in bed writing this) so not much happening here. Haven't even put up the Christmas Tree yet, and I'm usually making everyone help me on Dec 1.

    Ahh well.

    Have a good week all.

Jen, domestic duties? No roll going on there! I've hardly done anything the past couple of days. I had my niece and nephew here yesterday - aged five and two - and that was exhausting. My back is letting me know about it today too. At least Ben had fun playing with them all day. The house is a pigsty and I have no energy either.

So bloody hot here again. Another air-con day and I'm even considering driving to the in-laws for a swim. We've decided to pull our pool out so we're letting it rot in all it's green glory until we can get a pump to drain it. Hopefully that will be this weekend, but there is a long list of things I want to get done this weekend - including painting Ben's room. Yep, it's STILL not done.

    Stay cool everybody!

    Hiya ladies,

Well, I have managed to get both kidlets asleep at the same time for the first time is ages! And I needed the break, I'm going crazy. Lily's sleep patterns are all over the place, she's been really unpredictable. Some nights she's waking once or twice, some it's 4-5 times. Some mornings she's up at 5am, others it's 6.30, this morning it was even 7am!! She hasn't slept in that 'late' for I don't even remember the last time- ages! So I have no idea what's going on from day to day. She's still going to bed at the same time, between 6.30-7.30. Still having 2 day sleeps though times are a bit erratic depending on when she wakes, all up she usually sleeps between 13-15hrs a day, which is normal for her age. But I jsut wish it was predictable. She is teething again though, getting her 2yr old molars. So I think that's what making it so bad at the mo. Hopefully when she gets them that will be it for the bad sleeping and she will start to sleep through, or at least better!
She's been really good lately. She is understanding sooo much and helps me with little things for Liam, like getting nappies and stuff. She's a little parrot and says anything we do, it's very funny at times!

DG, no I don't really have anyone to take the kids, mum will for a couple of hours but for me to relax, I would want at least half a day, kwim? It just wouldn't be worth if for 2-3hrs, I would get home probably tidy up and then sit down and it would be time to go and get them. Plus with Liam bfing, its harder for people to look after him, though he takes a bottle easily enough. But I really hate expressing, very lazy I know! And again for a few hours not worth my efforts, I can't express much at once, so to get a whole bottle it would take at least a whole day.

Jen, glad to hear playgroup is still going well. LOL@ Beau with the cake I can just imagine it!!
I hear you on feeling like a normal person when you wear decent clothes and stuff. I am in such a rut at the moment. I have no really nice clothes and hate how I look so even when I put on some nicer stuff I still feel frumpy. I hate it!

Kaz, I hope you're all feeling better.

Ok gotta go and have some 'lunch' (a bit late!)

    Hiya!
Dh not home for another hour and I am in the spare room pretending to fold clothes while Beau watches a DVD...drinking wine and having chips too - so bad am I!
Kel - Oh Bless, it wont be forever mate, whats going on with Lil cheeky bugger! Have you tried her on one day sleep? Maybe she is having too much in the day , or used to waking after a short time in the day so thinks the same is true for night time? Far out - you are doing well to be putting a sentence together. It is a lot of palava expressing just for a few hours peace, but maybe, dont clean up at home and just go straight to a cafe or a movie? Do something for you? A manicure or a massage or something? You might be pleasantly surprised that it makes a difference? Hugs to you but xxx
Dis - LOL at Bens room needing painting- at least you have had a LONG time to pick the colour! Phew at your baby sitting duties, eeks! You only need to be on a domestic roll once a week I say anyway! Just cram it all in one day then chill! Yeah right! A/C on here today too - Beau just had a dip in the lake too - its filled with weed at the shoreline though cause of all the wind which is a bit yucko.
Kaz - Hugs to you and Pip being sick again. Hope you guys are feeling better and the bedrest is doing you good.x
Us - we are ok - Beau's fav word is "No" now, I kind of laugh cause its pretty cute, I made sure he was in bed at 6:45 last night and he woke at 4:15, 6 then 6;30 for real and seems happier today thank god!
xxx to all - have a great friday night xxx

Jen, once a week? I think I might be able to manage that! I'm finding that even doing the washing up is a bit much for me ATM because I have to leave forward over my belly and that makes me breathless and my back hurts! I don't think I got this big even at the end with Ben!
Ben doesn't say no, he says "Nup!" Hehe, that just shows how terrible his parent's slang/pronunciation is huh?
It's even hotter today isn't it? If we didn't have aircon, I think I would have gone to a shopping centre to hang out today!

Kel, I'm with Jen. Use one of those 3hr breaks to take in a movie or just vege. The housework is ALWAYS going to be there waiting for you and it's never finished anyway. Our house looks like a tip more often than not these days but I just don't have the energy to pick up Ben's cars for the 14th time in a day and we ALWAYS need to vacuum and mop thanks to the dog. I've just learnt to let go - and I do it so well
Maybe you should try cutting Lil back to one sleep during the day? Ben's now starting to sleep a little later and taking a more 'normal' daytime sleep rather than only being awake for a couple of hours before his morning nap. Stopping work is having some major perks!!!

The room is being painted!!! DH has been washing walls all morning and has almost finished taping up the alcatraves. Painting will start either today or tomorrow. Hopefully it will only need one coat too. Yay - I can move my boy into his big boy bed at long last!!!
