Sorry I havent posted much...cant even remember when I did and too lazy to look back!!! Well I am so tired, Olivia has decided to wake at 2am every night for the past 3 or 4 nights and Becca has been waking for nightly feeds....except last night she slept 11 hours, pity Olivia was awake again. Olivia has taken to "mummy nigh nighs" wanting me to sleep with her at all times. GGGRRRR. Shes also chucking some woping tanties, the pther day I had to put her in her room because she was throwing things. OMG where did she get that from because we dont throw things when we are angry?
I'm also feeling a bit flat again coz am not having much luck with my weight. I was going to see a personal trainer but at the moment money is a bit tight. So am going to see if mum will lend me her treadmill.
Other than that we are all good health wise. Most of the kids in mothers group have been sick, one was hospitalised with pneumonia.
Whats everyone doing this year for birthdays? We are just having immeadiate family over for a bbq dinner and at mothers group we will have a joint party.

    Anyway take care all.

    Hello ladies,

Wow has it really been two weeks since my last post??? Sorry! I have been busy. But then who isn't?! I only really get time to post on weekends...

Well, we are going ok. As I said just really busy. Working some extra hours. I will be doing one whole day every week for the next few weeks. Lil and Liam are really good. Lily has started hurting Liam, kicking and hitting him at every opportunity, but then giving him big cuggles and kisseys too. She really is too cute at times, and soooo amazingly frustrating the next minute! Everything is 'MINE!" now too. No matter what it is, if she was sitting in the chair I just sat in, it's mine, if I am drinking the same thing she was (not her drink, just the same drink) it's mine, if Liam is playing with something that she was its mine....everything is hers!! She's also becoming a daddy's girl, often preferring him over me which is kinda nice sometimes cause she's now not whinging for me so much when I am feeding Liam or when I clean or do stuff around the place
Can you believe our babies are nearly TWO??? Only one month til Lily is 2, OMG!!! We will be up in Qld for her bday this yr, so we get to celebrate it with DH family. These two years have truely flown. I was just thinking last night that I was probably jsut pregnant with Liam now (now that he's almost 7mths old) that's how old Lily was when I got pg again. Eeeek!! I can't imagine how I managed!
Sleeping....don't mention it and neither will I!! They are both having their days, though there was one glorious night where I got 6hrs sleep straight! It was heavenly! Then he only woke one other time, Lily woke once and DH got up for her anyway, oh I'd give my left foot for another night like that.......well not quite, but it would be lovely to have another good night's sleep.Since then they've been either tag-teaming or one of them has a horrific night. Last night Liam was awake 4 times I think, and Lily 2. Though for some reason I'm not feeling as tired as I thought I would.
Liam is crawling properly now. He has been for a while, been commando crawling for months now! He can crawl up my mums stairs in her loungeroom...only 2 but it wasn't until Lil was about 10 mths that she could do it!! He's sitting and saying bubba and mumma already too. He's got two teeth and the top ones are coming any day now too. He's growing waaaaayyyyy too fast for me, especially being my last bub
Lily is coming up with new things every day and understands so much. She surprises me sometimes with what she understands. The other day she took my breaky plate to put into the sink (yep training her well!!) and it had my burnt crust still on it. I said to her 'Put the plate in the sink and the crusts into the bin' fully expecting to find soggy crusts in the sink later, but I wathced her and she went to the sink and took the crusts off the plate, dropped it into the sink and put the crusts into the bin!!! Oh I was soooo proud!!!! I can ask her to get me anything for Liam too, nappies, clothes (even specific items!) she's just getting so clever and big!
Ok enough of my rambling, I hope everyone is well and have a great weekend!

Kel, yay on your clever little boy! I can't believe he's doing all that stuff already - what a clever munchkin!
I am also constantly amazed by what Ben understands. He is also very good at putting things in the sink, only our leftovers get given to the dog - even perfectly good food at times No wonder the dog loves B!!!
Bugger about the bad nights still. It's unbelievably hard when they tag team

Mel, those tanty's sound awful! I don't think they need to learn to throw from see it, it's just a way for them to get their anger or frustration out.
I'm sorry you're not having much luck with your weight. I haven't been able to join the gym yet either. Mum went away and is back in a week. She's our creche! So we're joining as soon as she's back I'm hoping to fit into a pre-pg dress for a wedding at the end of next month... we'll see. I'm mostly in my pre-pg clothes but I'm eating SO much rubbish food in the middle of the night when I'm up with J.
As for birthday parties, we're doing exactly the same as you. BBQ with immediate family, but that's bloody huge anyway. Craig and I each have three siblings, nearly all are married and we have 9 nieces and nephews. When we all get together it's a bit chaotic, but fun

Jen, good on you for keeping Beau home. I know it seems like common sense, but a lot of parents don't do that I took both boys to the park yesterday and ended up walking a couple of kms - the long way home. Pushing B on his bike and wearing J, I was absolutely knackered when I got home! Felt good afterwards though

We went to an open day at the montessori pre school where I went to send B earlier today. I love, love, love it! It's so $$$ though. $100/week for three hours a day! Ben had a ball though, and I think Craig could see how it would be so easy for him to learn things there. We'll just have to see how we go with finances though. I mean, $4000+ a year could get us all to Disneyland

Wow thats a lot of money Mel for a pre school. What kind of stuff do they do there that warrents that much money? Disney land sounds great We have about 30 people coming to the bbq, luckily most of my family arent partnered up coz I have 7 siblings and none of them have children yet. DH has 2 brothers and both have 2 girls each.

Olivia is sleeping, yay, am off there in minute. Shes been so into me going to sleep next to her. She wakes up in the night and comes to our bed...mummy nigh nighs. This morning I did it again at 2am, but at 630 I said no and she screamed the whole house awake. SHes not happy to have dh sleep next to her. Actually i just want her to be able to go to sleep on her own. This week I have removed the clothes basket and bean bag from her room to stop her opening the door. Today she had a pillow infront of the door, obviously didnt work coz she ended up asleep. Shes getting so tall so it wont be long before she wont need anything. I just shut the door till shes asleep, then open it til she wakes. Am thinking of putting the gate on her door....might make some difference?

    At least becca sleeps well!!!
    Ok, sorry for my ranting

Mel - Pip's tall enough to open the doors and has been for a couple of months. We have to make sure he doesn't watch us unlocking the door to the stairs so he doesn't get out.

Well the little boy bit me again yesterday, right on my jawline and left a huge lump there, sill sore. Not happy!

Wow, what a cost for a pre-school! Which school would he go to after then?

    hope everyone's doing well.

Hey Kaz, hows your jaw? thats terrible that hes doing that. I hope it doesnt last much longer. My niece was the same, she got asked to leave 2 child care centres coz of her biting. Shes a wild one that one!!!! Shes now six and hasnt been biting for a while. I will ask my sil what they did to help stop it.

We are going along terrible with this whole sleep thing. A month ago Olivia was droping her day sleeps, and I made her get them back.....now at night she wont sleep til11pm after hours of screaming. Poor Becca, although Becca sleeps through Livs screaming...I dont know how. DH wants me to stop Olivias sleeping during the day but shes tired already and I am trying to get her down early, although I can still hear her. I dont know what to do. And shes still waking during the night. I know her back teeth are giving her grief, but this cant go on! I shouldnt complain though, I know how much trouble you are having Kel with your little ones and I honestly dont know how you manage!!!

    OK thanks for the vent!

    Hello All....
Far out! I just mowed all our lawns and did some edging by hand and sweeping up - we so need a whippersnipper! I am pooped! Beau is great now around loud noises like the lawnmower and dustbuster etc, he has been hopeless until recently! I feel really good today, I had a terrible week with him last week, with him sick/teething and having tantrums the minute he woke up, I found myself in tears - a lot! I am v emotional atm too - not sure if its pmt or....I hope I am PG, It was due yesterday - fingers crossed for me! The smell of the sushi place at the shops made me sick yesterday so I hope thats a sign!
Dis - I guess that is a bit expensive, if you really want him to go there and trust them I am sure you will make it work. I have to call up the pre-school when Beau turns 2, I dont have any plans to send him there soon though, maybe when we have another bub. Yeah Dis, I get irritated when parents bring kids that are sick so its only respectful I think - even though I needed the break from home badly! I always feel better if I get up and go and walk the dogs with B or to the shops or something too, good on you for taking the long way home though!
Kaz- You poor thing with Pip biting you - I get so upset when B even hits me hard by accident with his head or whatever, let alone a bite. You must get a fright/shock - its hard to handle I am sure.
Mel - How frustrating with Olivia's sleep! You must be buggered being up that late with her and then Becca too. I would play each day as it comes, if she is tired put her down in the day, but do it at the same time every day if you can. Then if she isnt tired at that time, skip it. At least Becca sleeps through Olivia's noise! That would stress me out even more, trying to shush her aswell. Lets hope its just her teeth and she settles for you soon - what sets her screaming off at night? Just a tantrum or over tired do you think?
Ok, I am getting my feet up while Beau is asleep, mowing the lawn in thongs is hard on the feet!
