Hi!!

Well we had an eventful day yesterday - Dylan had his 6m check up and his on the 75th percentile for height but only 25th for weight...she wasn't too concerned though as he's sooo active and obviouxly just burning it all off but suggested I put some butter in his veggies and start giving him cruskits with some butter on also! Yum! hehe. She told me not to introduce lunch for another month though and just fill him right up at brekky and dinner!
The big thing she told me with regards to his sleeping was to stop wrapping him...I've tried before and it didn't seem to work well but last night I put him to bed with 1 arm out...now I don't know if it was that or the fact that he went to bed late cos I had been working (late meaning just after 8pm) but he went to sleep only woke at around 10.30pm for his dummy and then next woke at 5am! OMG - He has never ever ever slept that long without waking! I can't believe it - So so happy! (if only Louis hadn't woke at 1am I would have had a great big sleep - LOL!) She wasn't even worried about getting rid of the dummy which is great. She was a fill in mchn and she was fantastic - I'm goign to get her details and find out where she is normally I think because she was sooo helpful about everything!!!

Anyway! New milestone from the last couple of days is Dylan beign on all fours and then standing on his toes making like a bridge iykwim?? Can't believe it!! Crazy kid! LOL!

Melissa - Bugger about the constipation...poor little thing. I havent' dealt with it with the kids but I know prune juice is meant to help....but whether or not you can give this to bubbas I don't know!

Kaz - How was the movies and the library? Do you do that at Knox? With regards to swimming - I put the kids in swim nappies and then cute little boardies and a rashy! hehe - for no other reason that it looks spunky! Other people at my class just have the kids in swim nappies or those little swim suits.
Yeah at sleeps in the cot! Have you tried those sleeping bags? I just buy the cheap versions - bonds etc and they're always good! At least you know they're toasty warm!

Jen - Big hugs...I know exactly how hard it can be...I wish you were close by so I could come and help and give you a break!!! It can change though with the simplest things - like I just left one arm out last night and he slept for 6 1/2 h straight - never though that would happen!! My mchn also suggested that I leave him 2min before I go in to give him a chance to resettle without my help which I think is a good idea as well - I'm one of those people that hear my bubbas and jump up without thinking! hehe. PM if you want to chat more about your going to bed routine etc...
Just read your last post...It's probably a great time to try and get him to self settle - just let me know if you want me to pm you with what I would do - otherwise just tell me to shut my mouth! LOL!

OK - Must go! Chat soon!
