Jen - I hear you with the settling. Pip goes like a board when I think its time for him to sleep and he doesn't think so! So I just bend him and make him lie still, and after about 5 mins he gives up and goes sleepy. When I first started doing it though, it would take a lot longer.

Now I'm trying our "new bedtime routine". We give him his last feed, change etc, put him in his cot and read to him. He's more receptive to it than his dad, who doesn't want to read to him at night. Gullivers' travels to start with, but I think if I can just get his dad to even read the range rover mag, it'll be a win!

Movies yesterday was good, we have the Cameo within walking distance here. There were only 3 people in the cinema though, so they're moving the time from 11am to midday from next week. "The Brave One" was good, (love Jodie Foster). Then we checked out wedding flowers, had some lunch, then story time (He LOVES story time! Can't get enough of it! Fully engaged, laughs, smiles and arms and legs go wiggling mad) and coffee with one of the mums.

Kris - I have a couple of sleeping bags, "sprout" brand. Will put him in them tonight I think, but last night was good, he stayed under covers when I moved him there after he was asleep. I think he doesn't like the sheets across his body? In the morning he wanders around the cot keeping himself amused (which is great). But thanks for reminding me about the bags, I keep forgetting them!

Have a good day all.
