Janine - any tips for babybiotics if you don't mind? Does the chemist stock them? Thanks for sharing what happens with Ci.
Nettie - thanks, I do have the ABA number, I've called it a couple of times about my supply issues.
mgm - is that a national helpline? I've never heard of it! Thanks for posting it, I'll add it to my list of numbers.
Nessa - thanks for the reassurance, good to know (IYKWIM) that it's happened to others and they have been okay.
Well, luckily I had some EBM from his first morning feed yesterday, then expressed some more at 7.00pm last night and he took 90mls quite happily then slept until midnight which then he fed from the boob, yay! I did a search on breast refusal on here and tried to relax and encourage him. Must have done the trick since he fed again at 4.30am, then 9.00am so very relieved now.
Just changed a dirty nappy and it's getting back to the mustard yellow colour. The pharmacist did say the AB's may give him diarrhea so perhaps it was that?
He's just had a feed and is nodding off to sleep so I think that is my cue to have a nap as well. DH has gone to footy, I would have gone too, but I have nothing to wear! Sounds ridiculous, I know. Going to Perth on Tuesday for our 6 week check ups and buying a pair of fat jeans to get me through until this baby belly disappears somewhat. Also joining Weight Watchers online once I get the all clear from my OB.

Maybe I'll do an express late in the evening, then again at the early morning one (6am ish) and skip the one or two feeds between. It doesn't seem to affect my supply much and I never get pain or engorgement...
Sorry about that!
. can you ask DP to show up for a few hours a day to help? call on whatever assistance you can - family, friends, anyone, so you're not so overwhelmed. in my opinion you shouldn't worry about pnd and what effect your stress is having on baby - as long as you're able to fulfil basic needs all will be fine. the most important thing is just to do whatever you can to get through until the dust settles and you know where you stand with DP etc. take it one day at a time.
, I was a naturopath and I still have access to the professional range. But I do believe you can get them from a health food store, they'll be behind the counter or from the person who works in the store (they're often a naturopath).
