Wow that was confusing....typed out the below message, hit post and the thread was closed!!!

In regard to the expressing, I really am quite the dairy cow!
I've cut down to expressing only 2-3 times a day (hoping to dry up a bit), and I usually get about 125ml from each side (quite frustrating when you want to stop!)
When I was feeding Benjamin and expressing I would get that about 4-5 times a day, and on waking in the mornings I'd fet 260ml from each side!
We tried Benjamin again this morning and he fluffed around a bit with his boob juice, but then after a poo, and being wrapped he drank 90ml and is now settled back to sleep....
His poo (not that you all need to know this of course) was a nice squelchy one! I am so pleased!
With a bit of luck we can keep him on at least one or 2 breast milk feeds a day and that will keep the poos runny, he definately seems better on this formula (non thickened, Heinz Nurture Gold....it really goes to show how different we all are because I remember someone taking their child OFF that formula and putting them on s26 to help with poos, and I'm doing the opposite to help Benjamin.
He slept from 7:30pm til 1:15, then 1:15 to 6:30, then 6:30 til 8:30, and is now asleep again...I'm good with that!!!
Had some tummy time and held his head up a bit more than usual so thats great!

Ive had a brain wave too...because sometimes posts disappear, before hitting post reply, I copy it, then hit post, then if it doesn't work, I can just paste it into the box again! (lost too many posts in the past!)

BW - with your brainwave: I do that too (but only if it's a long post). Great idea though hey?

Janine - I thought you'd like his pic! I've heard about those Grobags, but like you, thought they're a bit dear. Maybe I'll start looking for some on Ebay... bugger on your heater being broken

Nothing new here... but we're hoping to go to a movie today (taking it in turns so one of us is home with DS) - Indiana Jones probably. Be nice to have some 'me' time!

Nettie - they say babies need one more layer than we do to be right temp for sleeping.
Beatrix - be kind to yourself re weight. You are dealing with a lot atm especially on your own. Look at it this way... it took nine months to get out of shape, give yourself nine months to get back into shape and like belle said one week at a time, cause weeks turn into months. I'm bad with the eating too and I only have 2 to deal with and DS goes to daycare 4 days a week atm.
Fire - I'm like you with the sleep, but haven't gone to the cot yet - still trying the bassinette atm, but it is so hard when they cry. We have had two really unsettled days where the only time she is sleeping is when she is carried.
I sound like Shell was earlier in the week - maybe it is just how they are at this stage.
I'm going to try to get Greer into the cot between 3-6 months, definitely don't want to be doing this constant hold thing past 5 months.
Hard to remember the rest of the posts from the last thread sorry....
I've been getting some hip pain in the last two days, almost a cramp, it is weird. Also had pain in my back after carrying Greer for about 2 hours yesterday - seemed to be at the site of the spinal block. Does anyone else get pain still from epis?
It is pooring with rain today and we have a first holy communion to go to - I don't want to be taking kids out in this weather, but we are the only family on SILs side as parents and brother are OS atm, so we have to go.
    Better start getting organised.

Nettie - I like your signature! And well done on the expressing, you should be really proud of yourself. I?m still on the Motilium and am frankly quite scared to wean myself off it in case my supply drops.

Sharon - good to hear about Oliver?s gain and growth.

Sarah - Baxter is almost 10 weeks old I don?t have AF yet. I bled for 2 weeks then nothing. I really don?t want it to stay away for too long, I think we will TTC#2 when Baxter turns one. Tubby tummy hey, I hear you! I joined Weight Watchers Online on Monday and have done quite well I think. Tomorrow is weigh in day so I will report back then.

Steph - My mum is only 90 minutes away but my sister lives in London, it?s hard having close family so far away. Do you speak much? Has she seen Lila yet?

Janine - I have a Grobag Egg and I?m surprised my how cool the room is when it?s yellow (recommended temp), temp is then between 16 and 20 degrees.

Nessa - how?s it all going? I hope DH has the older girls sometimes.

Mgm - I?ve been meaning to ask for ages...what?s your DD?s name?

Grubi - yes, I think I?ve been getting some pain at my epi site. But only when I lay in bed.

Not much going on here, went to visit my parent?s for the weekend which was nice and relaxing. Going to make some low fat banana muffins today and take some pics of Baxter for his thankyou cards.

I guess the thing that I am struggling with is that I still have to have Baxter wrapped to feed him. I?ve tried a few times but he gets really distressed and pushes off. I can?t imagine having to wrap a 9 month old to feed him. Hopefully he will grow out of it?? *sigh*

    Have a great Sunday all.

Whilst trying to find something appropriate to wear for this holy communion and the weather, I too have become very disheartened, not necessarily with my weight, (although I have 6kg still to loose) but definitely with my shape. Those hips and tummy look terrible. I don't want to be seen in anything but my loose comfy c-section clothes
Got to stop being lazy and start being dilligent both in how I look after myself and my baby. Let's see if I can actually go without buying any of the bad foods this week. I tried last week to cut back, but just ended up going to the shops for the bad foods the next day
On the good side weather permitting I am starting to go for walks with the pram, so hopefully I can tackle this disheartening shapes sooner than later. I want to fit into the pants and skirts in my wardrobe - the prepregnancy ones.

Alittlegrubbi - i keep trying to not eat bad stuff too, then caleb cries for a while or keeps waking up and i get something nice to eat... clasic comfort eating!!

I can fit into most of my prepregancy clothes, but i was 5kg over weight when i got prego, so have about 8kg to loose still. And the jelly belly looks bad in most of them...
