    Hello all

Leash - know what you mean about the heat yesterday. Omg it was sooo muggy here too! I was tempted to go in the pool but yeah had kye with me so couldnt
I cant wait till Xmas time, he will definitely be going in the pool then! I am buying him one of those floaty things that have the sunshade over the top. I can just see him out there now, he loves the bath so I dont think we're gonna have a problem with him not liking the water. Gonna buy him some sunnies too so he looks the part hehe

I went to Target the other day and brought him his first set of swimmers They're those two pieces with the shirt and padded pants hehe... so cute!
I thought I better be safe and get a bigger size with the rate he's growing so got a 1 PMSL If it is too big he can at least grow into it. Brought another few cute outfits as well, took a stab at the size - got 0's and you wouldnt believe it but it is only slightly baggy on him so dunno how long they will fit him for. I stood in Target for ages pondering on the sizes to get, cant believe how fast he is growing!!

On another note, its weight check day tomorrow.... I'm hoping now that I have him on a more clear organised routine that he wont have another gain like last week
I will be so gutted if its another 600 grams! I'll let ya all know how I go!

Anyways finally got the man to sleep - he is still being a little bugger during the day and not sleeping in his cot. The only place he will sleep is in his swing
Ahhh well I guess I should be thankful he is at least sleeping LOL he usually crashes out in there for like 2 or 3 hours

I am thinking about buying him a F&P bouncer/rocker thing or otherwise one of those fold out kids sofa's but yeah havent really made up my mind as to what is going to be better... anyone have any opinions?

I've gotta go out sometime today to Pac Fair to lodge a receipt with Medicare so will go into Toys R Us and see what they have. Omg thats what I didnt tell you guys!
Kye's Paed Bill for when he was in hospital was $864.00!!! Just about died when I received it in the mail. I am soo hoping I get most of that amount back.
His hospital expenses (xrays + paed bill) came to a thousand dollars

Anyways I am starving, must go and eat while the man is sleeping.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Shell, I don't know what I would do without our swing/rocker/seat combo. We have abouncer but its really only good for when she is awake as if shes asleep and she moves a little it bounces and she startles. The rocker we have turns into a stationary seat which is the best I can rock her to sleep if shes cranky and then lay it back for her to sleep.
I probably wouldn't go the sofa, but thats because I take her outside with me in her seat and I prefer to know she is a little way off the ground. If its just for inside though it'd be great, as long as they can't roll off onto/into something hard when they start to roll.

I just want something that he can sleep in during the day that is more comfortable for him. I have him in the swing at the moment and man it just looks uncomfortable

I thought the F&P Newborn to Toddler rocker?

Oh and I have just uploaded a cute pic that I took this morning. My best friend sent him that suit he is wearing, sooo suits him haha

    Pic is HERE

And if you want adult company - lemme know and I'll grab the car for the day and come visit you if you like?? We can always go for coffee or somethin if you don't want me in your house.. (although i am toilet trained.. LOL)
I can't promise I'll be the most adult of company - but I'm pretty old.. just not mature..

Squidipa - good luck today honey

well another sleep through last night - with a wake up around 3ish - but settled by daddy and the dummy - woohoo!!!!! She is pretty unsettled today though, might be the heat, pretty hot in this house. She has another chiro appointment this arvie so hopefully she will be ok after that..

Better go make lunch and prepare dinner since we will be getting home late tonight..

Sasha - we have a FP rocker thingy, like Leasha's it rocks, but then it also has a stable foot thing to stop it moving. It also came with toys (but having been through the whole brood, heaven knows where they are now! LOL!) and it has a vibrating switch! It was the only lace DS2 would sleep when he was a bub, but this little man will sleep just about anywhere atm!! (currently across my lap and I can feel my left foot going numb!)

We also had nearly $1000 of hospital and paediatric expenses and all of the receipts we have need to get redone cause there is something wrong with all of them (in one way or another) and medicare are refusing to pay the rebates on them as they are atm

Pixie & Bear - have a fabbo holiday guys!!

Squidipa - GL with Josh's hearing test today we'll be thinking of you guys!

Leash - Yay for Shel helping out more! And I hope little Jazz is feeling much better today

MT - hope your head feels better, I hate headaches!!

Big Hi to Vic, Kel, Mel, Rachel, CM4E (and I think I always manage to forget someone, so sorry if I forgot you!) Have a good day all!

    Hi Mums and Bubs

Good luck with the weighin Shell, hoping Kye has a tiny weight gain!! Great piccie too!!

Aww hugs for you all in the heat, not looking forward to Adelaides usual hot dry summer, Nakita was not so great on the 32 degree day we have the other week, i think our AC is going to get a big workout this summer - not looking forward to that bill!!

Big hugs for the bills too, I hope you get them covered!

Nakita's bills have come to over $5,700 so far , sooo glad we have private health insurance and the rest was covered by Medicare, the BB wouldn't have even covered those bills!

I am thinking of getting a swing.... gotta earn some more $$ first! maybe that is why I was at work at 7.30am!!

MT - hope you are feeling better today

Yay Pixie and The Bear - have a lovely holiday and look forward to hearing about it all when you get back!

Good luck with the hearing test Squidipa!!

He, he Leash, just the one giggle so far but OMG soo cute, dying to hear more! Love the sound of the sneeze laugh, sounds soo cute! LOL about Shel, I have been reading your other thread about the other halves!! Glad she is being and angel for ya, hope it continues!!

Must run, little Miss is awaking for a feed, looks like I get lunch after her today - yummy grilled chicken wholemeal wraps!!

i must have missed something? i didn't know you had to have xrays done
Squidipa - Xrays arent a routine thing done. Kye had to have xray's done when he was in special care because of his funny breathing. They wanted to rule out fluid on his lungs and a chest infection. Good luck with the hearing test today!

MM - yeah i think I will buy one of those ones that converts to a toddler seat. Kye is almost 7kgs now so if I'm gonna be spending $100 on one I want it to last him a while

As for where he sleeps at the moment he is beside me propped up on pillows on the couch. Figured keep him where he's happy! Trying to get him to settle in his cot during the day is such a mission, not worth the hassle! (mind you it probably doesnt help that all his toys are displayed beside his cot on the wall haha)

Leasha - when Kye sneezes we always say "tissue" and he goes "ahhh" well sounds like that so funny.... he's does it every time he sneezes, has done from when he was about a month old!

MT - hope you are feeling better and Jett has settled for you today!

Pixie - enjoy your time away!
