    Hellooooooooooo girls

My goodness, i just dont get time to come in here and catch up and reply anymore. Things are SO busy, and its not just cos of christmas, i think its having 6 kids Who would have guessed that would make you so busy.

Lots been going on here. Have been going to a couple of information days for Briella cos she starts kindy next year. She has to go to mainstream kindy as well as a language development centre (LDC) because of her speech delay. Lucca (7yr old DS) slipped in the shower a couple of weeks ago and snapped both his front teeth in half..................adult teeth hmmmmmm, i was not impressed. So we have been going to the dentist a few times to get them rebuilt. Its just been non stop appts for different things, ive been flat out.

I got news my mum, stepdad and his parents are coming to Perth to visit about a week ago, so i have been trying to sort things out and clean. They get here on tuesday. I havent seen them for 3 1/2 yrs.

We finally have a patio. Its very exciting for us. We built our house, so we are slowly getting things done.

Chardonnay is going well. She is the most gorgeous thing. She is full of smiles and talks to us. She loves her hands and is reaching out to touch things. Lately she has been a poo machine though.........no sooner do you change a dirty nappy then she has another one..............and in the middle of the night/early morning..............I have to get up to change those even if she stays asleep because you cant leave her sitting in it. But other than that she is a joy

Me, im still having ALOT of problems with my stomach. I am going to make an appt with a gastroenterologist tomorrow and see what can be done, because i am pretty much still on the same dose of meds i was on when i was pregnant. I am taking 60mg at the moment, i probably need 80mg to make the pain stop. I was on 80mg when i was pregnant. You are meant to be on 40mg. So the dose is very high and giving birth hasnt really improved it.

I hope you are all well and have a good christmas if i dont get back in here before then to say it because the next few weeks are flat out for me and my kids are finishing school soon.

hey Kristi. sounds hetic down your way ..
Gabriella is sick for the 1st time , she has a chest infection and is on AB for it .. she is soo phlegmy from it and it get hard for her to breathe so out come that nasal sucker thing and we have to suck alot of junk out of her nose too , i wish i could get rid of the stuff on her chest. she is so snotty and grizzly , and the poor thing is covered in mozzie bites .. our colionial doesnt have flyscreens so , and this weather is prime for mozzies ..

me , well i went sshopping yesterday and just spent .. and spent .. i bought about $400 on clothes and about $200 on DH's xmas pressie ... I also went to get my teeth whitened but i couldnt becasue im Breastfeeding .. and my tooth has broken and fallen apart so i have to go see the dentist.. since being PG my teeth have become a disaster zone , i brush 2-3 times a day(esp after lots of sugar) and they are just getting worse..I hope its not a sign of diabetes .. as poor oral health is a sign of it .. and heart disease too .. but surely im fit enough to aviod HD???

luck i just got health insurance and hosp cover , so i can get my 3 compacted wisdom teeth out and all the fillings other wise id be soooo broke ..

i thought after all the crap i miss out on and put up with looking after 2 kids (not that i mind but ykwim) that its time for me .. so the kids got nothing yesterday.. and tonight we are going to the comedy club for my birthday , we have a table of 10 booked and i cant wait !!

nix only goes to kindy on a wed and only for about 5 hrs ... but each time i mention the word "kindy" and that hes going .. he flat out tells me NO .. and gets super clingy and doesnt want to go ..

i hate hearing him sad , but im told (my friend is his carer) that hes fine (he wouldnt be going if she didnt work there) i hope it passes as i want him to go 2 days mid next year ..

other than that its all good

Lucy slept for the first time unwrapped last nite!! so now ive got to go get some sleeping bags cause she kicks blankets off. she is so close to rolling and is getting so frustrated that she cant the poor luv.

Lea: i hope you had a fantastic birthday!! ive been having issues with my teeth too...thank god for insurance, its not something we budgeted for at christmas time, i had 2 off my wisdom teeth out last year and oh my it was such a relif. how is Gabriella ? i hope she is on the mend...it must be so horrible having a sick baby. Nathan hated daycare when we went for a look he screamed and screamed so i endend up putting him in family daycare while i worked when he was about two and he loved that .

    Hi all,

I am around, just really busy. I have been keeping up with reading posts, but just no time to respond much. My MIL is here from Qld since, until Sunday, so just entertaining her and also lots of Christmas stuff going on. It was an unexpected visit, cause her aunty passed away so she came for the funeral (don't get me started on this...none of his family have visited in 10yrs we've been together, she couldn't even come to visit for her 2 grandchildren's births, but for the funeral of a distant old aunty...who was 80!!! Grrrr!). She's staying at my mums house, LOL!
Anyway....we are well, still plodding along, Lily has another cold, I'm trying to keep Liam well, though I don't really like my chances, Lily is all over him most of the time! She loves her Li Li. No sleep in this house still, I am so tired! I just had a half hour nanna nap with Liam and the kids are still in bed, though Lily is coughing like no tomorrow, so I don't think it will be peaceful for long....so I should go and make dinner.
I hope everyone is well and has a great weekend!

hi all thanks for the advice on child care , i think i will reasses in the new year , both DH and i are getting excited about taking the kids to swimming lessons !!
Gabriella is getting over her chest infection.. but is still so fleghmy , she sleeps thorough every night but latley has been waking in a coughing fit !!

well , after chatting with my friend who has a baby girl 1 day older than Gab , her baby is over 6kgs and i had no idea what gab was . i felt bad that i havent been taking her to a chn but i dont think its necessary most times .. Gab feeds well and is happy and developing so i thougt THOUGHT she was fine ..

turns out she is still about 5.7 and apparently "below average" for her weight and weight gain .. i had a moment of panic ( but im over it now ) and i dont quite know what "below average" means for her health.. but it was scary the nurse just stared at me when she told me that .. what do i do .. i havent looked in to it or ask other q's as part of me thinks/knows shes perfectly fine , but the other half is too worried to find out ...

    eeek ....

anyway .. she is soo unbelivley chatty and smiley ... sometimes she never shuts up and is soo talkative i get annoyed ( because im trying to nap .. she is such a noise machine )

It has been a long time since I posted - sorry!

Millie - good luck with TTC very exciting.

Danielle - Hope you enjoyed your kid free time! V. jealous.

Lilias - how did the move to the big boy bed go? Looking for tips! =)

Charmlea - am jealous of Gabbi's vocab, Beth has no words really just gobbledegook- but she understands lots of what we say and can follow instructions (when in the mood!)

    Hello to everyone else!

AFM We are having a boy! Found out at our 20 weeks scan just after new year. I had decided that I wanted another girl so was a little disappointed that it's a boy but I am slowly getting used to the idea and as long as he is healthy that's all that matters.

Morning sickness eased up around Christmas which was nice. I now feel pretty good most of the time but the heat does take it out of me. I have a sleep everyday when Beth goes down after lunch and I am usually so looking forward to it!

Beth started walking (finally!) a couple of weeks before Christmas and I am just loving this new skill. So much easier to walk into the supermarket with her than have to carry her or get out the stroller. Plus everyone smiles at her when we are toddling around so I feel I am contributing to a happy planet! =)

Need to get organised for Grover's arrival (working title). As lots of our newborn stuff was borrowed from other people in Norway. So am trawling ebay for a bassinette as I don't want to kick Beth out of the cot immediately but we are thinking of slowly moving her to a single bed some time soonish. Also need to buy another car seat - a cheapish one which Beth will use and Grover can go in the convertible one that Beth has been using. There are other bits and pieces like a baby bath and some boy clothes. I think a trip to ikea is needed as I also want to get beth a little table and chairs.

If I wasn't pregnant I would be thinking about going back to work. I love Beth with all my heart but I am taking very little pleasure being a SAHM. I am not houseproud and struggle to do housework. Cooking is a chore and DH is hardly ever home in time for bathtime so I feel like I am doing everything for Beth.

It's not helping that I still don't have many friends here in Perth. I have a lovely playgoup but I only see them on Friday and I have made a friend at Rhyme time at the library and we do catch up for playdates but other than that it's just Beth and I. Hence why a joined a gym - just for something to do to fill in the day.

Sorry don't mean to have a whinge!

    See you all around!

    Hello Ladies!

It's so great to hear from you all!!

We are going well. Liam is a cheeky little monster and is such a climber. He climbs everything. The other day I found him on the bathroom cabinet. Lily let him in when she went to the toilet and (naturally) didn't think to bring him out or to tell me he was in the bathroom. I can only assume he climbed up the drawer handles He had the toothpaste and was eating it, ick!! He had also thrown a few toilet rolls into the loo. Moster! He will climb on anything. The other day, I had taken all the toys he could climb on and put the away (mean mummy!!) and there he was piling things ontop of each other- two pillows, a doll, his little lounge, his guitar.....aall so he could reach a texta I had confiscated and put onto the dining table! He is almost always happy though, and is such a joker. He loves to make us laugh. I can see his school report cards now, 'class clown.....easily distracted.....distracts others......great ability when he applies himself....' lol!!

Erin, Liam is doing ok in his bed, though lately he's been visiting in ours! He teething really badly at the moment and he won't settle without his booby's. He is a bit hard to settle in bed and I lay with him til he's asleep, he also has a bf before sleep in bed too. I don't really have any tricks for you, lol! I just put him in there one day and that's it. If he's too hard to settle when he wakes through the night, he come into our bed. The only real rule we have is that he goes to sleep in his own bed! Good luck
Congrats on having a little man!! How exciting for you!

Niamh, I hope you kids were ok after their jabs! I always hate getting my kids immunisations. I hate them crying and I hate them possibly being sick after them...

Tegam, lol, you sound like me with your ttc. I told DH if we don't fall pg with #3 by around June-ish, then I will stop trying. I don't want my children to be more tha 2-ish years apart. He thinks I'm strange. But I am 9 and 10 years younger than my brothers and we don't have much of a relationship. I imagine it was like having a new family for my brothers when I was born.
How scary for you having skin cancer I am always worried I might get it too. DH is always nagging me about having my moles and things checked. I have very fair skin, and was never really taught to use sunscreen much. I was often sunburnt as a kid, sometimes fairly badly! I make sure now my kids are always lathered in sunscreen cause they're very fair too. So is DH but he refuses to wear it cause he gets too sweaty and it goes in his eyes....just don't put it there??!! Men! Annnyyywwaay! I hope things are going ok for you. Take it easy and let people take care of you! You'll have 4 kidlets soon and you'll never be able to sit for 5mins after that!!

Danielle, how things hun? I hope all is well.

Hi to anyone I have missed. I hope you're all well. Have a great weekend!
