Yeah Sasha - sounds pretty normal.

And I just let her drink whatever she wants really - until she starts playing with the teat and I know she isn't hungry anymore. I only upped the amount cos she was sucking the bottle dry - so thought .. hmmm.. maybe she wants more... I don't mind the fact that there is some milk left in the bottle cos then I know she has drank all that she wants to - and I know she's not going hungry....

Plus she's so darn skinny its good to try to fatten her up!!!!!

She had about 200ml this morning for her bottle - but I wouldn't expect her to have that the entire day - next one will probably be around 120 - 150ml... she was just hungry after such a big sleep!!

She is sleeping now - so I REALLY should move my fat butt and do some housework.. not motivated to vacuum though cos I can't mop cos we need a new mop head.. so why bother vaccing.. LOL

    gawd I'm lazy...

Yep Kye has been doing that too! Usually when he wakes at 2am he is real ravenous so I have been trialling bigger amounts the past couple of nights thinking he is hungrier then but yeah he has only drunk 170-180ml. I guess gotta look at the amount overall for the day hey? He should be having about 150ml x 7kg (bodyweight) so 1050ml - so bloody confusing sometimes. The tins of formula say one thing, books say a different thing. I know each baby is different LOL
People say to me oh he will only drink what he needs..... yeah whatever this is KYE we are talking about PMSL

LMFAO - at least ya honest

Yeah Kye is a bit like that too with my mum. It has been great having my parents here to share him with them oh and them helping out aswell has definitely saved my sanity LOL When we have had enough we just pass Kye onto them hehe

The absolutely adore him; shower him with so much love and attention. He is the first grandson (my brother has 3 girls in NZ) so I guess that has something to do with it.
I think Kye and Dad will be very close too. Right now Dad wants him to wake up so he can start watching the bathurst coverage with him ... PMSL

MM - thanks!! just think, if you lived up here you could have your munchkin in the middle of two chickie babes!! lol
I'm working on it!!!!! I keep suggesting places to DP, and he suggested Rockhampton, so I researched schools, housing etc and now he prefers Stanthorpe out of the two!!

My DS1 is the same with my mum (we lived with her til he was 3) but lately it seems as though she just doesn't give a rats **** about our family - we haven't heard from her since March ....

Vic - we don't have one that's close to us (nearest is about an hour if not more away) And we started off with a nice day (had 6 loads of washing on the line!! ) but now there is a storm starting to roll in (with one load left on the line, almost dry!!)

Better go get it before it starts to p!ss down!!

    Hey Mums and bubs

Had a couple of hell days. I have laryngitis, the by-product of my cold which was just awful yesterday, woke up with no voice. Jett mustn't have been feeling too terrific either cos he just kept chucking tanty after tanty full of screams. With me not feeling well I just didn't have the patience, every time I would settle him and put him down he would be awake 2 mins later screaming. Feeding was no fun either - on, off, on, off, on, off etc. Aaaagggghhhhhhh! I ended up calling my Mum and she took the afternoon off work to look after him while I slept. It was such a godsend. But now today she is sick....oops!

This morning he was ok but just wouldn't go to sleep. I went to an ABA meeting and he just kept crying when I held him. Lucky there were plenty of volunteers to give him cuddles and settle him. But every time I took him back he would wake up!!!

But he is now in my arms, fast asleep and has been for at least 3 hours and looking angelic as usual

It is a gorgeous day here too so I also got a load of washing on today, just hasn't made it to the line yet - bugger cos it is the nappies too which need extra line time! Luckily the weekend is supposed to continue to be fine, with Sunday forecast for 28 degrees.

    Immunisations for Jett tomorrow.

I am jealous of all you girls meeting each other. When I get up there next you are all going to have me darken your doorstep, so look out! Actually DH and I were talking about what we are going to do for Christmas holidays this year and are considering a road trip to QLD, so you never know!!! So I can come past the blue mountains on my way MM!! Not sure who else is on my way, but it will have to be a separate trip to SA I'm afraid!
