Pfft, mines more pathetic. I've got the real estate guy coming tomorrow to do an appraisal and its possible the most exciting thing thats happened this week (mastitis isn't exciting). I almost went and introduced myself to my neighbours I'm that bored (who have been there for 6 months), but I got lazy. So I sat on my butt and pondered whether or not to do housework while Jazz is sleeping.

(And I WAS going to, except then she woke up )
You crack me up!!! I do the same thing, and then it's like "oh well, can't do anything, baby's awake now!!" LOL!!

And Mel, I figured "CLOTH" would be right up your alley!!

Squidipa - yeah, it's hard to get someone to look after all 4 kids hey!! Hence why I don't see the big deal in moving a million m ore miles away from family (they're hardly here anyway - not for my IL's trying though!! )

HOW'S THIS????? My DS (7.5yo) is on game ban (DS, xbox etc) cause he keeps playing with DD's (and mine) and then denying it - he even took DD's DS to school (which is against school rules too!) BUT my MIL has PROMISED to get him one for Christmas ... SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ain't gonna happen!!

    Bl00dy grandparents!! LOL!

MM- hee hee gotta love grandparents my mum feeds Cadence lollies then hands her back all hypo. and you just reminded me I'm still waiting for Allegras birth certificate is it normal to take this long? she almost 9 weeks!

Squidipa- Hey chicky how are things? I loooove the end of year christmas party but totally understand about getting someone to look after the kids DF's is on a boat so we have to get his parents to look after the girls over night (my parents winge if they were to look after the girls)

Mel- I got pay tv this week to!!! isn't it great haha Df was watching discovery channel for about 20mins and said maybe we should get discovery channel he thought it was free to air tv I didn't tell him I was hooking it up I was nearly peeing my pants laughing everytime an add would flash "on discovery channel" and it still didn't click.

Sasha- OMG 10 weeks thats so stupid I have to go to birth deaths and marriages to get my name changed (it's different on my birth certificate) so I can get a passport better start organising now.

Vic- WOW let me know how you go with the breast pads I never thought of that Allegra was up every 2 hours on Wednesday

Pixie- oh you guys had a great night thats fantastic I bet you're feeling all refreshed today.

    What a chatty bunch!!

Vic - breast pads, what a great idea. Might try it when I try transitioning Jett in to his cot. We gave it a go last night and he woke up at 3.30. He never wakes up when he's in our bed, so it might be a bit of a slow process as DH and I love our sleep!

Kel and Mel - Yay for pay TV. We have it here too, and it is fantastic, especially the nights when all you do is channel surf cos there is nothing you want to watch on any of the channels!!

MM - My mother has always said that one of the perks of being a grandparent is getting revenge on their kids.... bloody granparents!! I don't think I could up the size of nappies for Jett, his legs are too skinny, as I discovered with a couple of my cloth nappies

Mel - Look at what you've done without even trying... all these cloth nappy people! Although I had started building my stash before I had officially met you!

Leasha - Hope that abscess is going... ouch! and you can avoid going to hospital. And :yeahthat:, what they said, about the lease thing. You should be able to break the lease early due to the circumstances, and the new owners may buy it as an investment property in which case you are in an ideal situation to stay. Saves them going through the process to find suitable tenants. Although they may put the rent up which may not suit you. When is the lease up? When is the house up for sale?

Pixie - Yay for the dummy leading to a good night! Always helpful!

    Sasha and CM4E - Mwah!

Not sure who else I've missed but mwah! to you and your bubs too!

Jett has been a bit grumpy today, not sure why and not over the top, just grumpy! Maybe not enough to eat yesterday? Oh well, there is still output in the correct colours and textures pmsl!

This morning I had him on his tummy in his cot and he brought one leg up and kind of pushed up with one arm and rolled over. I'm not sure he meant it though - he had this look on his face like " WTF just happened????" but he didn't cry or anything so it obviously didn't bother him! He's asleep right now beside me on his tummy so he is quite content sleeping like that, but just for the record I would never put him down for a sleep like that unsupervised!

Someone asked my what Gymbaroo was (can't remember who, sorry) it is activity based learning developing kids physical abilities. They sometimes use equipment and sometimes just on the mat. For example, we were sitting on the floor with them on our outstretched legs singing Jack and Jill. As we sang "Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water" we raised our knees so they became more upright, "Jack fell down" lowered our knees, "and broke his crown" circled the tops of their heads with our fingers "and Jill came tumbling after" we would raise and lower one knee at a time so they would tilt side to side. It is developing their sense of space, and teaches them a sense of rhythym at the same time which is needed for such things as crawling and walking. As they grow older they do different activities based on their physical development at that age. She also mentioned that because babies spend so much time on their backs now while they are sleeping it is good to put them down for playtime on their beliies as much as possible and when they crack it, as they all do, to roll them over rather than pick them up and put them on their backs to again develop their sense of space and get them used to what it feels like to roll. I found it all very interesting.... and like I said, Jett loved it!

hehehe Squidipa - there's only a month between them!! Zak's in January. As for the ban, it WAS meant to be over in the 1st week of december, but who knows now! DP already told his parents off for it - they just seem to do it so much, like last time they were up here a few weeks ago, they rocked up with a 2 wheeler bike for 2.5yo We were upset cause we had seen a bike that we wanted to get for him (with a handle on the back for us to control the bike) ... they just do ***** without thinking ...

Might try it when I try transitioning Jett in to his cot. We gave it a go last night and he woke up at 3.30. He never wakes up when he's in our bed, so it might be a bit of a slow process as DH and I love our sleep!

MT - after Veygas's hernia op, I was too scared to have him in bed with me (and he had just spent 3 days in a cot by himself in the hospital), I was surprised at how well he adjusted to being in the cot. My DD preferred the cot as well when she was a bub ... but all kids are different. I KWYM about loving sleep!! LOL!

As for sleeping on their tummy, all of my kids so far (except Veygas!) have managed to roll onto their tummies during the night (as bubs) and tey still sleep on their tummies!! I think it's genetic, cause I prefer to sleep on my tummy too!!

oh and :yeahthat: about grandparents! And channel surfing too!
