What a chatty bunch!!

Vic - breast pads, what a great idea. Might try it when I try transitioning Jett in to his cot. We gave it a go last night and he woke up at 3.30. He never wakes up when he's in our bed, so it might be a bit of a slow process as DH and I love our sleep!

Kel and Mel - Yay for pay TV. We have it here too, and it is fantastic, especially the nights when all you do is channel surf cos there is nothing you want to watch on any of the channels!!

MM - My mother has always said that one of the perks of being a grandparent is getting revenge on their kids.... bloody granparents!! I don't think I could up the size of nappies for Jett, his legs are too skinny, as I discovered with a couple of my cloth nappies

Mel - Look at what you've done without even trying... all these cloth nappy people! Although I had started building my stash before I had officially met you!

Leasha - Hope that abscess is going... ouch! and you can avoid going to hospital. And :yeahthat:, what they said, about the lease thing. You should be able to break the lease early due to the circumstances, and the new owners may buy it as an investment property in which case you are in an ideal situation to stay. Saves them going through the process to find suitable tenants. Although they may put the rent up which may not suit you. When is the lease up? When is the house up for sale?

Pixie - Yay for the dummy leading to a good night! Always helpful!

Sasha and CM4E - Mwah!

Not sure who else I've missed but mwah! to you and your bubs too!

Jett has been a bit grumpy today, not sure why and not over the top, just grumpy! Maybe not enough to eat yesterday? Oh well, there is still output in the correct colours and textures pmsl!

This morning I had him on his tummy in his cot and he brought one leg up and kind of pushed up with one arm and rolled over. I'm not sure he meant it though - he had this look on his face like " WTF just happened????" but he didn't cry or anything so it obviously didn't bother him! He's asleep right now beside me on his tummy so he is quite content sleeping like that, but just for the record I would never put him down for a sleep like that unsupervised!

Someone asked my what Gymbaroo was (can't remember who, sorry) it is activity based learning developing kids physical abilities. They sometimes use equipment and sometimes just on the mat. For example, we were sitting on the floor with them on our outstretched legs singing Jack and Jill. As we sang "Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water" we raised our knees so they became more upright, "Jack fell down" lowered our knees, "and broke his crown" circled the tops of their heads with our fingers "and Jill came tumbling after" we would raise and lower one knee at a time so they would tilt side to side. It is developing their sense of space, and teaches them a sense of rhythym at the same time which is needed for such things as crawling and walking. As they grow older they do different activities based on their physical development at that age. She also mentioned that because babies spend so much time on their backs now while they are sleeping it is good to put them down for playtime on their beliies as much as possible and when they crack it, as they all do, to roll them over rather than pick them up and put them on their backs to again develop their sense of space and get them used to what it feels like to roll. I found it all very interesting.... and like I said, Jett loved it!
