Squidipa - Jett has been feeding alot today, although I think that is just because it is warm.
Last night we had a late mothers group so all the Dad's could come along and learn to do infant massage. It was great, although Jett doesn't like massage very much. Whenever I do it he cracks it halfway through too cos he wants to go to sleep. But we'll keep persisting!
Josh seems to get extra thirsty in this weather too!!
Hey that sounds great a late mothers group for dads to participate. I actually don't do baby massage i have a few times but josh gets cold to quick. Funny that one minute he is hot next he is all patchy in color and cold. BUT he does love a foot massage when going off to sleep. He also LOVES he nose and eye brows being stroked what does all your bubs like to go off to sleep. Josh LOVES my singing even when it is just a made up song about his thunder bum

Well today is another weigh in - thanks for the "small" gain vibes
The past two days I've noticed he has just got heavier when I hold him so I am pretty sure he will easily hit the 8kg mark today!
Once thats all over and done with Kye and I are heading up to Brisbane on the train to The Wesley hospital to see a friend who had her baby on tuesday.
It will be Kye's first train ride so that's gonna be interesting
    .
    SENDING SMALL VIBES!!!!!!!!!!

i guess you need the small ones and i need the BIG ones its opposite but the feelings and concerns i would think are just the same just opposite. Good luck sweet! yeah josh travels well on the train, I hope kye does too Congrats to your your friend.

Squidipa hope Joshie keeps stacking that weight on. Booby holiday! I could use one of those myself!
Big 60th birthday party for the ILs tonight so a busy one today.... have a great day all.

My boobs were just so sore not cracked or anything just feeling over sucked stretched or what ever just uncomfortable i expressed 160ml this morning and 125 of that will be the late night feed josh is due to feed again in 1 hour where ill express again and will probably give him that expressed amount straight after feed. Hope you have a good time and beth behaves at the 60th

GOOD LUCK ON EVERYONES WEIGH IN'S BIG VIBES and small vibes for everyone who needs them!!
Just make sure your collecting your right vibe

well Joshie needs me and i need to put abc on for DS3

I'm great thanks.. and thanks for asking I've been so busy trying to get back into doing my business (I had two jobs, lecturing and running a business and I've stopped lecturing for probably a year) - I employ my brother so need to keep an eye on stuff he's doing. Add on top of that two trips away and that's why I haven't been on the site so much lately... I wish I had more time to chat!!

I have no complaints about Eli.. it's been almost 3 weeks since he did a stomach-emptying spew yay, so I think he's grown out of it He is 12 weeks old today!!!!! My little man is growing up so fast! He's such the best baby, he will fall asleep in my arms when we're out at night *so cute*... I keep being thankful at how easy going he is and I almost feel a bit bad when I hear how your babies have been screaming and waking up at night and stuff.. like I've got it *too* easy, y'know?

I would love to meet you all in person.. we will probably be going to Melbourne at some point next year but that's a LONG way away from where most of you are!!! When are you coming to NZ squidipa?

I have two close friends having baby boys, one is due Dec 31 and one is 4 days overdue - I am hoping she goes into labour this weekend!!

xxx to all - I'm going to catch up on this thread properly soon!!!

Kel - sorry to hear you and DF are having probs babe Hope you get it all worked out soon.

Pixie - wow, a bus ride!! I was gonna say you're game, but then I remembered all the public transport I used when DS1 was a baby as I didn't have a car then ... we even went to Melbourne on the train!! LOL.
If I lived closer, I'd offer to babysit for you when you go back to work!!

Squidipa - I couldn't say for sure if it is gastro, but preschool warned us tha it was going around .... I don't think a fever is involved in regular gastro though ... And YAY for the adoption process starting!!
Josh LOVES my singing even when it is just a made up song about his thunder bum
Veygas loves my made up songs too!!! (especially when I add in that I'm crazy 0 he giggles uncontrollably!! LOL)
No AF here, and if my other 3 kids are anything to go by, I'd say I'm set for the next 4 to 9 months ...

MT - cloth is going good ... I have already come across a couple that I don't like, and a few that I REALLY like!! LOL!

I can't believe that it's not illegal in Melbourne to have that many people in a car!!
LOL@ "Velcro Jett" - sounds like a cool name!! hehehe

    Leasha - LOL@ your ... I wouldn't listen to him either!!

Sasha - GL for the weigh in!

Rachel - you could prolly meet up with MT (I'm pretty sure she's in Melbourne or thereabouts!)
I think you are lucky to have such an easy going baby!! Veygas has his moments, but most of the time, he's pretty easy going too!

Mel - for your crappy day hun! Can't believe you're almost going back to work ....

Ok, so I think I have caught up (and all I did was go shopping this morning LOL!!) Yes we definitely are a chatty bunch! And as this has taken me about 45 minutes to read through and reply I have totally forgotten what I was gonna say!! LOL!!! Oh well. I'm sure it will come back to me ......... eventually!!

Anyway, I think I should eat before I need to pick up the kids! LOL!

Eli loves me singing to him too - he either squeals, laughs, smiles or focuses intently and tries to sing along. LOVE IT! I am SO not a good singer but for the first time I just don't care, he appreciates my singing He loves "Old MacDonald" the most
