Leash - I'm sorry to hear of Shel's loss Let me know if I can do anything..... and rescheduling is fine babe, just tell me when (and woohoo for the weight loss, I'm still a house size)
Beck - yay for rolling - we haven't got that here yet..
Hi to everyone else - typing with one hand at the moment which craps me...lol
DH is putting DS down for a nap - my good little girl is drinking her bottle. She was so good at the birthday party this morning - just drank her bottle, smiled at everyone and fell asleep in the ergo till we left, then went back to sleep in the car!!
DS was a bit shy and didn't want to get down most of the party - must take after me in the shyness stakes - wonder if its a genetic thing? hmmm.. ponder ponder..
Leash - my condolences for Shel's grandmother passing away
Mel - no rolling for E here either... should be anytime soon, right?
Hi everyone I'm exhausted today, E fed more than normal and it takes it out of me when he does... like he's used up all my energy reserves. Tomorrow I'm off to a friend's baby shower, should be fun. She's having a boy too.
leasha and shel i am so sorry to hear the bad news big hugs!!
kiwi girl have fun tomorrow, i totally understand where ur comming from josh like pancaked my boobs today so had to resort to an extra bottle feed a boys gotta eat! then he slept for 2 hours i was like wow. we were out at sizzlers so that helped
Leasha and Shel, soo sorry to hear of your loss, I hope you have a safe journey to Tamworth and home again.
Grr for salesman Pixie! I hate it when they do that!!!
Only a short post, we went to see Santa at the Magic Cave yesterday, Naita was all smiles, but the line was too long and by the time we got to Santa she was too tired, 8 photos later we got the "best" shot hehe, then she crashed out in her pram
Haha Leasha at the blowout, we have Nakita all dressed in her new jeans, little long sleeved PP top, looking super cute and BAM!!!! She had been letting ripper farts go while I was feeding her, then poo explosion over all of her new clean clothes! Grrr so we ended up putting her in another PP top and her cargos to see Santa!! And threw everything in the wash and Nakita in the hand basin for a quick wash as we had both had showers already - OMG it is sooo cute, I will post the photos later on Maybe next time I should take a photo of the damage!!
Rachel I have to jump into FB and watch those videos!! I have a heap but just havn't had time to edit them!
Huge Hi there to everyone else, I am off to the markets to stock up on my fruit and vegies
I will post a link later to the photos if I can time!!

Morning folks!
We had a pretty good night, went to dinner with the PILs and they looked after Beth while we went to see the new James Bond movie. It was pretty good actually, we haven't been to the movies for ages! We went to the Hayden Orpheum which is a gorgeous art deco theatre in Cremorne. Beth was pretty good for the PILs but didn't sleep much, but yesterday she only slept for maybe an hour or two between 8 am and 10.15 don't know what was up with that! The PILs were funny, they said she sat up and took notice as soon as she heard the theme tune from the Bill - we always watch that show. Our big news is that she can sit up! If we put her on the floor in a sitting position she can sit there quite happily for a few minutes or more before going over sideways or doing a face plant! we are so proud. She was soooo happy to see her daddy Bear the other night when he came home and she couldn't wait to show him.
Leash - sorry to hear about Shel's loss.... good luck with the drive
Mel - love the giggle video on FB.... wish we could catch DD giggling but she is a sneaky one
big to rach, squiddy, vic, sb, mt, mm and everyone.... BBL!
PS - HAPPY FOUR MONTHS JOSIAH! that's right isn't it squidipa?
And Vic you were posting at the same time as I was.... HAPPY FIVE MONTHS NAKITA!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a quick one, I have got some photos of Nakita on facebook, photobucket is going really slow so they will be all up on my blog later, but here is Nakita in the bain after yesterday's poo explosion and we were in a hurry to go and see Santa
Hi everyone
really super fast one,
I love the pics and videos everyone has posted on facebook and BB! our babies are fast becoming toddlers. We got a really good baby cackle session on video yesterday but I can't upload it on facebook for some reason.
I hope you are all well cya
kel
Pixie: thats so great about beth sitting on her own, grace likes to sit up but we have to hold her up otherwise she would be straight on her face!!!
Put our christmas tree up today, she didnt really know what to make of it! but likes all the color and sparkles! zcant wait to take her to see santa!!
Leash and Shel - Sorry to hear about your loss. Travel safely.
Happy 5 months Nakita!
Happy 4 months Josiah!
Kiwigirl - those videos are great! You can really hear the difference in Eli's voice from the first vid to the second one as his voicebox has engaged.
Mel - you have one placid kid there with Miss M. I took Jett to a baby shower today and he really let people know when he was hungry or tired or just wanted his Mummy!
Vic - Haha about the blowout!! Miss N looks so cute in the basin bath!! Love it! We had the biggest power poo on Wednesday - I can't remember if I posted that or not, but OMG poo everywhere! The bed, the floor, the basin, the changetable, on me, on him... Why are they always able to time it to when you are just trying to go out somewhere?
Pixie - that's awesome about Beth sitting up. Jett likes to sit up too, but much prefers to stand. If only he had the balance to keep him there! People are always amazed when they are playing with him and they put him on his feet at how well he stands there. They just act as a balance anchor point. And then he cracks it if they lie him back down.
Kel - I can't wait to see your baby cackle session!
Bec - We haven't put our tree up yet, but probably this week if I can find the time. I am looking forward to Jett seing the tree and a visit to Santa, and we'll also take him to carols too cos he likes singing!
Well we had our first baby cackle session yesterday. We have had a couple of giggles and laughs, but isolated events that couldn't be reproduced. Then yesterday I was undressing him for his shower and he had been grizzling until it came time to take his singlet off over his head. He normally scrunches his head down and has the biggest smile on his face when I do it, but I just thought he liked the feeling in his hair, but it turns out he is ticklish and yesterday started giggling his head off. And the best part was that I got DH to come and listen after his shower and he did it again! Best sound in the world!! I tried to get it on video today, but the camera is only new and he isn't sure of it so tends to be a bit more reserved when it is on. We did get a bit of it but he had his fist stuffed in his mouth the whole time so it just wasn't the same!
Got a busy week ahead with walking 3 times, gym three times and an infant resuscitation course tomorrow afternoon. Plus a few other bits and pieces but I do prefer to keep busy... Jett seems to like it too and is much more predictable too for some reason
Just a quick one, Shel is going down on her own, leaving EARLY tomorrow morning (3am BLERK) and getting back late Thursday night, well with SIL and her kids, and Jazz and I are staying behind. My mum is coming up tomorrow to stay a few days, should be here afternoon sometime. Mel if you are still interested in coming round just let me know, mum will be here tomorrow arvo but tomorrow morning would be ok? I'll text you later anyway, but I can see you're online I see your green light
Put our chrissy tree up this morning will have to take a pic. Got our Santa pics so I'll scan them sometime this week too. SOOOOOOOOO cute, not smiling though, but not screaming (yet!).
Hey folks
Hope everyone had a good weekend.... Went into town today and just happened to run into some work friends in Pitt St Mall! So had lunch with them. Other than that just did some errands and caught up on dishes etc. Weighed Beth today at the chemist - 6.92 kilos (with her clothes on) so she's doubled her birth weight... no wonder I get a sore arm from carrying her now!
Leash - probably just as well, it's a bit of a killer doing a big trip in minimal time with a baby..... as I've learned from experience! Hope you have a good time with your mum.
MT - Beth likes to stand up too, she will stand just holding my fingers.... still waiting for the cackles though... she has giggled but it's a bit rare and unpredictable
kel well done on getting it on video
beckoes good on you for putting up the xmas tree.... not sure if we will bother with a tree.... we're a bit slack like that....
Well the Bear just got home and he picked up the Bumbo he bought for Beth on ebay.... she is just trying it out now! We will post photos later - it's very cute!
joshie had needles today he was very good, got bruises tho, the lady was very ruff. While waiting to go to see dr in waiting room a lady came over from surgery and asked if my 3 year old would stop playing with a toy as it was annoying the drs in the private clinic rooms. It was one of those pull back cars. GRRR what a cow.
I went toilet and oh no no toilet paper but i did have spare breast pads thank God!
Joshie is clingy and restless and temp under arm is 38 no i havnt given him panadol rather he fight it him self and panadol would only drop the temp not the injections mind u if it gets higher i will.
tomorrow pead appointment.
today after needles josh spewed all over me. At home all over carpet, then not long after it came out his nose and mouth all over walker and in carpet. My poor little thunder bom. Plus his poo last 2 times has been very thick army green.
Had a super busy weekend .... I have so had enough of looking at houses!!! There is one we keep going back to - it's right up the top of our "want it" list, just a few things we're sussing out about it .... couple more to look at too
Leash - for you and Shel
Pixie - wow, sitting up!! That is amazing! Veygas still won't hold his head up, although he tries
MT - you sound like you have a busy week ahead!
And Chrissie trees ... I've been too busy to even think about it!
We also found that Veygas is ticklish - he giggles incessantly! The other thing he does while sitting in the bath is scratch his groin (like a cricketer rubbing the ball! LOL!) I don't know if it's the eczema making him itchy, or if it's just a subconscious thing But I have noticed that he gets really bad nappy rash after wearing a disposable, but after his sherpa lined night time nappy he is heaps better, so it looks like I'll have to make him more sherpa lined nappies! LOL!
HAPPY 5 MONTHS NAKITA!!!
HAPPY 4 MONTHS JOSIAH!!!
Vic - super cute photos of Nakita in the basin!!
Well, I better try to get some sleep - it's been a hectic weekend and there is so much to try and fit into the week, including a preschool christmas party that I have to make fairy bread for and have only just remembered!
Night all! mwah! xxx
ETA: OMG! I just realised how much Veygas looks like the cartoon baby in my ticker!! LOL!

: funny
Squidipa - Poor Joshie. Nasty immunisations! using breast pads in the loo!
Pixie - We got a bumbo seat too the other week. A green one! Jett loves it. Much prefers to sit up than lie down and it is good that I no longer have to hold him. I can just leave him to play while I get dressed/have breakfast/have shower/put washing on etc!
Leash - Glad your Mum could come and spend time with you while Shel is away. Hope Jazz is good for you!
We had our four month health check today so Jett got weighed! yay! He is now a whopping 5.7kgs and has put 700gms on in the last 4 weeks, since I got the shock of him only putting 60gms on in the previous 4 weeks! In the last 2 weeks he has put 400gms on in the last 2 weeks alone! He is now 63.5cm long (up 4.5cm in the last 4 weeks) and head circ is 40.5cm (up 1.2cm in the last 4 weeks). Looking at the charts he is still small in weight (I think she said 10th percentile) and HC but is average now in length! Woot! Looks like Jett has been putting all his energy in to growing tall rather than putting the weight on!
Also did an infant resuscitation course this arvo. Not certified or anything, but the same technique taught by those courses that are and all for the bargain price of $20. I'd rather know it and not need it, than need it and not know it! Also covered a few other first aid things particularly for infants and children (but adults were covered too) such as burns and choking, and a couple of other basics. Was really good.
I have also managed to finally upload some more photos to my gallery if you want to take a look here.
ETA: MM you posted while I was writing!! about your ticker looking like Veygas. It's so true!! It's the hair and the smile!
