    Hi all!!

Going to be a stinker here again today and tomorrow, 43 and 41, I am sooo sick and tired of the heat, can't wait until late tomorrow/Sunday when the cool change finally hits, it has been a long couple fo weeks with this insane heat!! My poor garden is totally fried

Our pool was supposed to be poured today, and the pool builder called me at 3pm yesterday and told me that I had to be there all day and water the pool every half an hour due to it being a 43 degree day I was soooo P**** O** I ended up ringing the boss int he office and then he gave me the phone number for the Director and I called him and said it was ridiculous I cannot do that in 43 degree heat, with a 7 month old and have no where cool to be during the interim!! GRRRR. He said it wasn't necessary, then 15 min late I got a call back from the Site Supervisor, he had just had a call from the office boss and then the Director (hehe) and they cancelled the pour and are doing it on Monday when it is going to be 25 degrees!! I guess if you aren't happy just keep goinng higher until you get what you want, at least in the end sanity prevailed

Can't stay long got stuff to do got a list of jobs to achieve by the end of the day... yay LOL! We cancelled mothers group as it is too hot, so I am home all day - yipee!!!

    Have a fab day!!

    xxoo

Happy 6 months Jazz and Jett. Yay for the tooth aswell V...two!!

So we seem to be in a pattern with the sleeps now, bed at 6, up between 10 and12 for a quick feed, then awake at about 3 for fun and games!!! Asleep again after almost exactly an hour and up at about 6.30-7 ish. this has been the same for four nights!! dont know if it will just pass, orif im putting her to bed to early or too many day sleeps, i feed her as soon as she wakes up, but she is so awake, then after about an hour i feed her again and she goes to sleep, maybe i shouldnt be feeding her so much then? a friend said she gave hers water at night from about 6 months and they soon realised it wasnt worth waking up for? not sure what to do...guess il just wait it out!

i saw the weather report this morning and thought i bet everyone in Ad and Vic are really looking forward to sunday!!! from 43 to 25 overnight!! would be such a relief for you! how do the bubs cope in that heat?? hope you all have AC!!
And it will be super hot in parts of NSW this week too....This heat wave better not carry on up the coast! if it reaches the sunshine coast...im outta here!!!

    hi to all!

hehehe Bec, yup, super hot here!

Veygas has decided to want naps at the most inopportune times (ie when it's time to take the kids to school and then pick them up!) He is usually awake at around 7 - 7.30am, feeds, then I have breakfast and get ready and hurry the kids up while he rolls and back crawls around the floor . He is whingy when I put them all in the car, so we get home, he feeds again and goes to sleep (about 9.30am - 12pm) When he wakes up, he feeds again, plays on the floor, then by 2.30pm he starts whinging again, but it's so close to having to pick the kids up, so when we all get home, he feeds again and goes to sleep (around 3.30 - 5.30pm) by which time, dinner is ready and mostly eaten by all, so Veygas gets another half hour or so play, then bath and is feeding again by 6.30pm, usually in bed somewhere between 6.30 - 7pm for the night .... each day is like this, except for Friday when I go shopping - he fed and went down at about 11.30am and is still asleep, so looks as though I will have to wake him to get the kids from school today

Don't ask me where solids are gonna fit into this routine!

Gotta go fix this little Master K's truck dilemma!

Horray...gave Grace three cubes of food for lunch(11am) and dinner(3pm) and she woke at 11.30 and 3.30 but only for a feed and back to sleep quite quick and then up at 6am...hope it continues this way!! but probably will be totally different tonight!!

My friend just had a baby, we are going to see her this arvo, im so excited to see a newborn again!! i miss my little newborn, feels like i only had her for a few seconds then suddenly she was this big baby!!

should really be doing house work right now, not sitting at the computer eating marmite on toast!! Oh well!!
    Hi to all.

Bec - yay for Grace's good sleeping routine.... hope it continues for you!

Kye has been sleeping fairly well. Usually is in bed by 7:30pm and sleeps through until 5:00-5:30am.

Kye had PEACH yesterday for the first time, mixed it with some pear for brekky. He scoffed it down hehe
I also tried him with a bit of bread this morning, just cut it into a solider and he was completely fine with it

He's been a bit irratible the past few days so I'm suspecting his gums are annoying him.
It looks like there is a tooth close to breaking through so we shall have to wait and see I guess!

Quite hot here today - a friend and I got up early this morning and went and did a boot camp session, gee it was hard!!
I forgot that my fitness aint anywhere near as good as it used to be, ahh well give me a month and I'll be going great guns again

Anyways gonna shoot and grab a sandwhich while the boy is sleeping!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

I keep wanting to write how hot it is then I read about Melbourne (and I guess it's the same elsewhere...). 40 degree temps predicted in parts of NZ today/tomorrow but was only 30 here (to me that's kinda hot :P

sasha - glad Kye liked the peach! Hadn't thought of the bread soldiers, I'm running out of vege ideas so keep going back to the food chart plunket gave me.

I'm trying to keep on top of everyone's news.. I was wondering if you wanted to do a quick survey, I'm curious!

    1. Usual total amount of sleep during day
    2. Usual total amount of sleep during the night
    3. Number of teeth
    4. Sitting up?
    5. Crawling?
    6. Favourite foods?
    7. Food reactions?
    8. Usual number of feeds?
    9. B/F or FF?
    10. Working?

    Here's my answers:

    1. 1.5 hours
    2. 11 hours
    3. 0
    4. Yes
    5. No, but can go up on his hands and knees for short periods
    6. Banana, nectarine, strawberry, peach

    8. 5 B/F approx, small meal mid-morning and larger meal at dinner
    9. B/F
    10. Yup, or myself, from home - try to do most of the work during the evenings once he's in bed
