    Hi Girls!

Thanks for all your thoughts. Back home for Christmas as part of their Hospital in the HOme program, back in daily for IV ABs. He was so sick Friday. U/S today on kidney shows now change unfortunatley, which is better than it getting bigger i guess. So still on very strong ABs in the hope that it will kill whatever is in the kidney (they're not sure what it is). Poor bugger, took them 3 goes to get the canulla in and it came out when we got home so they have to put it in again tomorrow :frown: He was so dehydrated by the time they admitted him it was scary. Anyway trying to be positive. If it doesn't clear up - off to Brissie to renal paed specialist....anyway gotta run.....hugs Rae, your girl will be fine and strong - she's a fighter like Ella!..............

Oh Soph - so sorry you're having such a rough time right now. Glad you could be home for Chrissie! I'm sure Ned is a strong little man and with get through this very soon. Sending your family stacks of love and hugs and Good luck with the renal pead - hope he will be able to provide more answers to sort this terrible thing out asap.

Just wanted to say that we had a lovely Christmas - Ella had a fabulous day!!!
We have come clean to family and friends too about our new little girls' name (decided not to wait til she was born) - and thought Christmaswas a nice time to share it!
    So her name is .........
    Tia Rose Bigeni

Tia means "princess" and we wanted to keep the flowery-botanical theme with our girls middle names. We are very excited and feel great to be able to share some lovely news about Tia with everyone right now!

Hope everyone had a great holiday!!!!!!!!

Had to pop in to say that Dr Roberts - the man who did my amnoicentisis - called us with the results. *Wave of relief* - all is great with Tia's chromosomes - no down sydrome or other chromosomal defects.

My oh my i cannot describe the wonderful feeling i have. I really feel like God has answered that prayer of ours and now that the worst case senario is out, everything else will work out as well.

I was only just explaining to Paul this morning that i had personally decided that i wouldn't feel right in terminating our pregnancy if the results did indeed come back negative - i have just created such a loving bond with my little Tia already that i didn't feel i could make such a huge decision to end her life. She is perfect to me no matter what happens. I'm really glad i made that conscious decision before discovering the results...maybe it was God's way of letting me know that all would be fine and that my relationship with and love for Tia is worth while.

YAY - i am sooooooooooooooo happy. I know that we still have a struggle ahead of us but these results have given us a second wind of some kind and a reasurrance that God has our daughter's life in His hands.

Oh big slobbery kisses Rae, that's wonderful news. You need to celebrate and buy some pink stuff for Tia!

Am reading girls but limited posting time.....family is all here. Ned is ok, still doing Hospital in the Home and now on oral ABs not intravenous.....see my post in Childrens Medical Conditions for further info.

    Ok gotta run.......

Awww Rae thats such great news...and I know exactly what you mean! I never had the 12 week scan for the same reason..that whatever the results would be...a bond had been made with our baby....but im so thrilled all the same. Lots of pink shopping coming up hey?

Soph..hope little boy is on the mend. Is he bothered by it all? Hope the oral abs do their job.

Sammy is loving having the girls home. He got a toy slide swing set thingie that he is just loving. We have it inside as its just so hot outside now....so he goes one two three then slides down really fast and jumps up looking so proud of himself. The girls are off tonight..jess sleeping at her friends and em and liv sleeping at another ones..so nice quiet night..and darren is home tonight..yay..hes worked the last two so looking forward to that.
