Rhi - Well done with your sleep day-stay. Jensen liked to sleep on me as well, only I mentioned the intense evening colic to the health nurse. We ended up changing the milk on my weetbix in the morning to soy milk. No problem now! I can still have milk and milk products, just seems as tho breakfast was the only thing I had to change. I find the infants friend helps when he's gulping down air, crying coz he can. He seems to like the taste!
    Ali - I hope that Emma's ok.
Janda - Well done with the rolling!! I can't wait for that!
Kim - pff I feed anywhere! We were at dinner and just fed him at the table. What was I going to do? Let him cry while I eat? Thats not fair! lol They're just boobs.

I'm really bad, and don't persist with the tummy time. I will today. It just pains me to hear him cry coz he's on his tummy. My MIL suggests he may have a sore back and it hurts when he's on his tummy. The upside is, instead of crying immediately on his tummy, he can go a few minutes if I annoy him with some noisy toys. He was on his back the other day, under a coffee table and playing with a string of toys (its a pram toy, just strung up under the table for him) and if the leg of the table wasn't in the way, he would have rolled from back to tummy! Frightened me and mil! However, he hasnt' done it since and now he's almost grasped his feet!
Well, I didn't get to be a birth partner for my cousin But that doesn't matter! Baby Phoenix was born on Friday, 6lb 11 I think (3040g). He was induced at 37wks. How tiny is a 6lb baby! Jensen and Phoenix had the same head circ, but lol I don't remember Jensen's head being that small! Phoenix even makes cute newborn noises, that Jensen didnt make. I cant believe that this coming Sunday, Jensen will be 3mths old!
A little while back, I mentioned Andrew's nan. Well, she finally had a stroke that put her into hospital and needed constant care. We found her a nursing home about 3wks ago. Then, she'd been there a wk and the staff noticed her gangrene in her foot was coming back (she'd had some gangrene before, and they shaved it away). So she's back in hospital. andrew's uncle came down from Townsville to help with the decision of amputation to try and prolong her life, or keep her dosed up on morphine (the necrotic material is very painful) - which could cause her to slip into a coma. They took the amputation option. Only, with how frail she is, there's a chance, around 10d post op, that she can go into shock and pass away anyway. 10d post op is Jensens 3mth birthday. Time will tell

Cheer up Rhianon! Jensen just had a successful 5min tummy time and then spewed on my foot. My dad's on his way over to work on my computer.... Talk again soon..
