Hannah is starting to thin out a bit on top. I've just noticed it. But she has LOADS of hair, too. Born at 34w with a mop of hair. We joke that if she'd gone fullterm she would have come out with dreadlocks!!!
Gorgeous Charlotte Wow she may have been able to have pig tails at fullterm LOL!! Harper's is still a little bit think on top but the sides have all dissapeared
EJ - Charlie boy has lost all his hair around the sides, He looks like a little old man very cute. With the twins Hana has straight hair and little Sam has curls all around. People come up to me and say Gee you had them very close together
oh my goodness. That's too funny. Did you keep a straight face?
Well she's had a few sleeps in there and actually fell asleep in it thismorning (as oppsed to me having to get her to sleep first), but still only 40 minutes... oh well, just had to feed her for 1.5 hours to get her to go to sleep...
Morning guys. Hannah's sleeping so well at the moment. She goes to bed about 10pm and wakes at 6.30-7ish. So good, but I'm still exhausted after looking after her during the day.
Think I need a blood test to make sure I'm OK. Might be anemic yet again. That'll be about the 4th time in a couple of years.
Hannah is hilarious. She's becoming more and more of a chatterbox. She finds the littlest things hilarious. All you have to do is stick your tongue in and out and she's got massive smiles and is yabbering away, she's very close to laughing. Then she sticks her tongue out, omg its so cute. :-)
Hmmm, cool again today. Thank goodness I've got a load of wood. May have to light the fire one day soon. I hate the cold. Where was my summer!?
MadB - They where dressed in Pink and blue. I would look at kevin and shake my head.
Today do some washing, picnic with kids for lunch and I may do some housework
Good old sam is starting to wet his pants again I just don't know what to do with him I'm soooo urrg with him.
ahhh Cathie, I hear you on the wetting pants - Pip went through 3 pairs of trousers all at breakfast yesterday!!! And we were at Maccas so couldn't leave him in just jocks!!
Well ladies, we're home - got in around 11pm last night. Didn't cry too much leaving cause DH had me driving to take my mind off it all I think. But still teary. Will slept a lot while driving, thankfully. We got him out a few times on the way and just lay him down on the ground to stretch out which I think worked better for him than just cuddling him while on breaks? He's asleep in my bed at the moment, woke at 5am and then 9am for feeds, which were lovely. Can't believe that we've gone from having the aircon on for him, to having the wood heater going!!!! Just lazing around in my PJ's and dressing gown at the moment, Pip jumped onto me and somehow spread my hips again - oh the agony!
Cathie - how do you reply to such stupidity? though
Charlotte - that's great news! Will's starting to loose a bit of hair, strangely at the front though - there's a pile of cradle cap missing there, and I suspect Pip pulled off the cradle cap and took the hair with it! But he stlll has his sideburns ... my little handsome man.
Carriers - Mayaness has ergos - the organic and the normal ones, the organic is just so soft!!!! You can actually feel the difference! At the moment I'm still using the meitai with him in a kangaroo carry, ITMS? Saving for the Ergo still EJ & other melbourne ladies - if you want to try different MCN styles, you're more than welcome to come round and go through my MCN stash to try diff styles / sizes on.
OK, guess it's time to get Pip dressed (now he's out of his dog suit!) and myself too.
It’s sure the week for it – another friend is pregnant with her third!! Yippee!!
Georgi, hope it has been good having MIL around this week
Charlotte, CONGRATS on passing the 4kg mark! Well done to you and your little one! The clothing is a dilemma at the moment isn’t it? Sydney has been low 20s but occasionally really humid so dressing self has been hard enough, much less Millie! We use the love me baby wrap me up, and have done since she was about 3 weeks old. Have just ordered her large ones… she’ll be in the medium for a bit longer yet
Jules I’m so pleased you got a Christening date booked! It’s tricky fitting in with everyone else’s timetable isn’t it?
EJ, I love a good school fete. My niece and nephew’s school always does a great one in September, I’m looking forward to taking Millie along this year Millie’s sheet was covered with fuzzy baby hair about a month ago, now she seems to be getting more hair – mostly back and sides, like a monk It’s not too noticeable til she’s in the bath and then it waves around like mermaid hair
MadB, hee hee for the wet flippers. I love walking up to the door of Millie’s room as she’s waking up and seeing her little flippers wave about With the ergo, should I start her off on my hip? I think she’s too big for the infant insert but she seemed a bit upset about being splayed across my belly.
Cathie and Kaz, hope the wet pants don’t continue… too darn cold for wet dacks! Kaz, glad you got home safely.
So, we’ve had a good week thus far. I took Millie in to school yesterday and she coped really well, even with hoardes of teenagers coming up and peeking into the pram! She’s such a diva, she loved the attention. I went in to see my head teacher and deputy, as they have some “ideas” about my return to work. I’m only going back 3 days per week from 3rd term, but they want me to jobshare with my head teacher. Long story, but basically she has been seconded to other projects but has maintained her head teacher role, and the double workload is starting to do her head in. Noone in the faculty has HT experience other than me. Hm. More money, but certainly more stress… it will have to go to interview, they’ll advertise next term so I have a bit of time to think about it.
Cathie - Thanks, I put up photos pretty frequently cause I live away from all my family and friends so it's the easiest way to keep them up to date I'd love to see some latest of Charlie boy!! Glad he's doing well. Identical?? hmmmm, yeah sure. I wonder if they thought about it once they'd walked away hahahaha
EJ - Jacob has been losing hair for a while but I can already see it growing back, but I still find hair on his sheets! He has the little bald patch at the back, not sure if I could have done something to avoid it, I think it's pretty normal isn't it?
Charlotte - That's great that Hannah is such a good sleeper - Jacob had gotten sooo good there for a few weeks but we're back to about two or three wake ups a night. It'll pass...it'll pass... Hannah sounds like such a cutie. Gotta love the tongue poking, we did encourage it a bit and I often say to DH that we're going to regret it when he's a bit older and poking his tongue out everywhere
Kaz - Wish I lived in Melbourne, I'd love to check out your MCN's!! Glad you made it home safely and things went well on the drive.
PP - We get wet flippers here too!!! Do you find they get so dirty?? Even after I wash them they have stains on them... all that sucking on their fists Good luck figuring out what you're going to do with work, sounds like you have to have a bit of a think! Congrats to your friend!! I feel like I'm surrounded by pregnant friends at the moment also...I have two due in the next two weeks, one due in seven weeks, and I'm going to be an aunty twice in June!! Pretty excited!!
Question for the breastfeeding mums...is anyone else losing hair?? On another breastfeeding note, Jacob's feeding has gone strange, he will only feed for a little while and then he won't take it back, I'm trying to feed both sides (I only just started offering both, he was getting enough from one side but has started looking for more) and he won't always take it and I don't force him... (I think some of it is to do with his reflux cause when I sit him up he arches his back and cries until he burps and sometimes has a vomit) But I think the position has a lot to do with it too... He only really sucks well on the first side for about five mins! I think I have to change my feeding style, I've been slack and stuck with the football position cause we both know it and we were both comfortable that way, but he is just getting too tall and I don't think he's comfortable, sometimes he'll cry when I try to feed that way then I try cradle and he will feed but I'm just not comfortable and it really hurts! Does anyone use a breastfeeding pillow? I realise how useless I sound here. Sorry it's a bit jumbled..

: Added in some extra info
Jules My hair is falling out everywhere, After every baby it always does the same thing I guess it's hormones ( did I spell that right ) I'll put some more photo's up of charlies boy it's funny with your first you have a photo album full of photo's when it comes down to your 6th there is not as many photo's. We are slack, I will take some more and put them on FB. I'll get back on later and do more personals.
Jules - I had issues with the left for a while, what I did was feed on the right "normally" then feed on the left in the football hold - why not try that? Set yourself up with a pillow (I just used a normal pillow) and feed football on your left, then pass him across directly onto your right without spinning him IYKWIM?
Gross moment - went and changed a nappy and found dirty nappies in the nappy bin from before we went away - ERKKKKKKK lucky no PUL but still - ERKKKKKKK gross man ...
PP - awwww yay for Millie! Sounds like your work really value you - that's a huge compliment! Good luck in deciding what to do!
Hi girls i can't write personal right now i should be packing as Harper and I are off for a girly weekend with my cousins and neice. Typically though i have just come down with a cold/cough pain in the a$$ thing and all i want to do is close my eyes and go to sleep. Soooo looking forward to just being away. Some of the girls are up for a few big nights but i think i'd be more than happy to stay at home and snuggle with my little lady.
Just had my hair done this morning, i feel like a new woman and yes Jules it's falling out everywhere
I'm hoping i don't pass my germs onto Harper as she just seems to finally be in a calm place. We are still giving her zantac and i'm not going to try and alter that until after this weekend. I think her and i are in some way insync (is that the right word??) and i'm really enjoying it. Poor thing today has barely slept and been such an angel, she came to the hairdressers with me then we got home at 11:30am, got changed and left for Aidan's music. She's in bed now for the first time since 7:30am. I feel so guilty when that happens. I hope she enjoys the weekend.
HOpe everyone is well and good to hear you're back safely Kaz, have a wonderful weekend everyone and you might hear from me about tuesdayish
Jules, he might just be done after 5 minutes. He's also probably busy wanting to look around and stuff. DS went from 20-30 minute feeds to 2-3 minutes almost overnight around 3.5 months. Did my head in.
Charlotte, you're welcome to some of our unending summer.... the current speculation is that it might just roll into next summer at this rate.
