Hey y'all! Welcome Sami! Bailey is such a cutie! I love the cheeky shot on the front page! lol! Congrats on your engagement! March will be here before you know it! Bailey will look so cute in a tux! IS he going to be your ring bearer?

Meg how's Coco? I hope the antibiotics are working! I really hope you dont have what she has! Thanks for checking out the photos, I went with #7! (the 7th pic in the album). I was between that one and #14 and #3!

Beck waking up avery 1.5 hours? Not prego again are you? lol! JUST kidding! HAve a good breakfast! I skipped breakfast today, I know that is not a good bf practice, but Abby and I took a long nap after her first feeding since she was up alllll night!

Jillian lol at Immy being lazy! Sometimes Abby just likes to watch the world go round too! She'll be in her jump-a-roo and just sit there...its too funny! I think she is just adorable, all rolly polly! I love baby fat rolls! Abby has plenty too!

Melly sounds like you have a mover on your hands! Scarey, isnt it? I cant believe in the next month or so our babies will be crawling!!

Thanks for the suggestion on needles, Dani! I know what you mean looking forward to the next baby! At first when Abby was born I didnt know how anyone ever wanted to go through all that work and pain again, but now I cant wait to have another! We are probably going to wait another year or 2 before trying!

I hope I got everyone! I love it when I can post while you all are awake! :-) (Sami I am from the US, so it is night here right now!)

I'm back. I've been doing some housework and then put Bailey to bed and wasn't that an event this morning. Tears, tears and more tears.

Beck - yes he has a little mischieveous face. He is a little monkey. He has started really watching everything we do. If you put a can of drink up to him he knows exactly what to do with it. Very funny. Never a dull moment in our house. Mmmm interesting with waking every couple of hours.

Bailey was lazy there for a while as well. He is particularly lazy at 9 in the morning when the TV show Raggs is on. He absolutely loves it. I don't hear a noise from him. It is great. You would know all about Raggs as it is an American show. I actually enjoy watching it as well. I've tried to buy the DVD over here and they don't sell it. I can't understand why it is a fantastic kids show.

Yeah I have but they don't seem to have the one that has "Wag & Wiggle" on it. I think it is called "Pawsuuup". I going to have a search on the internet this afternoon after mother's group.

Sam - search on the net for the raggs website...you can get the Pawsuuup DVD on the official site for $12.98 US. Just try www. then the name of the show and then '.com'. That should take you to the right place.

Excellent. I will give that a go. I've had my mother-in-law (to be) taping a couple of shows for me. But I would rather get him the real thing.

Beck - where abouts is Marsden in Brisbane. We are heading up to Brisbane for our first family holiday in August. I actually used to live in Brisbane in 1995.

Sami, Marsden is in Logan which is on the southside of Brisbane. About 10mins from Springwood, 30mins from Sunnybank/MacGregor area where Garden City shopping Centre is. Where abouts did you live? I graduated high school in 1995.

Thanks you make me feel really old now. I lived in Hendra just behind Eagle Farm. I actually enjoyed living in Brisbane but I must admit I have a much better life now than when I was living in Brisbane. I meet Pete in 1998 when I moved back to Geelong and my life has never been the same. It is full of love and friendship.

I was just looking there isn't much difference in our bubs. Bailey was 7pd 2oz - 51cm long and was born on 19 December.

sarajo, I was going to say number 12, but I love the one you picked! Cute!!

dani, what is the password for Jett's website again? sorry Im hopeless.
Hope everyone's having a good day. I just wish Coco would start to get better, I hate seeing her sick. She's miserable and I don't know what else to do. She's having a power nap at the moment, and this arvo I have tilly's friend for the afternoon.....
Was planning on going to Woollies but haven't been able to with sick bub. I am hoping Tim can bring some dinner home!! Hard life for some, his work is taking them ten pin bolwing today! Gee, and Im home with sick bubba. I shouldn't whinge should I!! Anyway, he could well be late, they didn't tell them what time they'd be back, just that they're going at 2pm (which I would think would mean there's no way they'd be back at the office by 5pm).
Anyway, gotta get some washing done while I have a second. coco will not let me out of her sight. oxoxox

    OMG you girls can chat!

Sam! Welcome to you and little Bailey. I'm kind of a fifth wheel in here, mt two were born 1 hour and 45 minutes before Dec 1st!
They were prem (I was supposed to be a Feb mum) but the girls have welcomed me in here, they're all so nice.

Sara, how is little Abby today?

    Meg, how is Coco?

Bec, Ivy and Maddy could paint the town red with their inability to sleep...I wouldn't mind, so long as it was the next town over and I got some sleep!

Jillian, It must have something to do with the name! MY Immy, didn't do anything, she just watched her sister. When Maddy got up and cruising Immy got VERY distressed. I became her means of transport then. She had no inclination of doing it for herself. She was late to sit up, late to roll over...then one day,at 14 months, after watching Maddy crawl, cruise and take her first steps and watching all the falls that went along with it, she rolled over, two days after that she crawled, by the end of the week she cruised the furniture and on the weekend she decided to walk!

Hi Dani,(I'd love to have another baby but Ivy and Noah were, sadly my last but can understand you being ready to do it all again) Melly (Yay for Logan's circle work) Christie (glad Owen' s needles went well) and Kate (How is your gorgeous girl)?

Ivy and Noah had their needles today and didn't go to badly. It was only two this time and FOUR next time!!! Anyhow, they are asleep at the moment, so thought I would pop on and catch up before I need to start dinner. Ivy didn't sleep a wink last night and today it was 20 minute naps again. Sarajo, do you find that Abby's reflux is worse when she is tired? Ivy has been chucking heaps today...I dont think it's the gastro, it's more like her normal refluxy chucks.
Noah is such a good sleeper, after starting out as my highly strung never sleep baby, he has settled into a good routine, now if he would just tell Ivy his secret!

Tiggy, glad to hear that the twins immunsations went well today....not looking forward to Maddy's in a fortnight's time. Have to remember to ring up and book the appointment tomorrow. *LOL* @ Ivy & Maddy being able to paint the town red. Maybe we should find a nocturnal babysitter so we can sleep a proper night's sleep? hehe

SOOOOO cranky. First of all, I go to Target at a shopping centre I hate purely for the purpose of grabbing one of those Ronson 6L slow cookers for $49.95. Naturally even though they went on sale today, they're all sold out. I swear, literally nothing else was touched on the shelves (despite there being a 15% off everything sale) but of course the one thing I wanted was sold out and they don't do rainchecks! BOOOOO.....

Oh and checked out the Take 5 magazine and am very sad that my gorgeous little princess didn't make the baby modelling top 20 finalists. I know there were thousands of entrants and every Mummy thinks their baby is beautiful; but I think honestly alot of those babies are nowhere near as gorgeous as Maddy!

Please think of John tomorrow...he goes for what is hopefully the first of 2 interviews to get the job with Deacons Lawyers. It's going to be a tough fight for the job but hopefully they'll see the potential in John. We so need for him to get this job; we just can't financially handle living on $35,000 pa with three people to support on that one wage.

First of all, BIG HUGGEEE YAWN! Abby was awake again all night. I dont know how long I can take this, and she only has a cold! I am such a wimp!!! lol! Im going to get a shower, feed her, and then I will take a nap with her I think! YAWN!

Meg Dani's password is Jett! I really really hope Coco feeld better soon, poor bub! How are you feeling?

    I graduated in '95 also!

Tiggy wow 2 going for needles at the same time?! So does one cry when the other does? I dont know how you do it...you truly are a supermom! Abby's cough is worse, and the poor chicken is all stuffy. BUT the fever is gone! WOOHOO!!!

Beck I hope all goes well for John! The mag was crazy not to pick Maddy as a finalist! Maddy is soooo doll baby status! She is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen! She has a distinct look too...her personality really shows through! I would try again if I were you! Bummer at the slow cookers! Are they on sale all week? Maybe they will get another shipment in?

edited to add: Tiggy, I have not noticed Abby's reflux being worse when she is tired, but it was very bad yesterday and she was tired all day! Interesting! I'll have to keep an eye on that! We went to the specialist yesterday and they uped her dosages on her meds. I cant wait till she grows out of this! She spit up all over the waiting room floor, the weigh in room floor, the exam table, and the exam room floor! lol, trying to show off for the doctors I guess! Oh well! I hope Ivy is doing better today for you!

    Evening Ladies,
Hope you and your babies are all doing well.
I had my 6mth check up at thew MCHN today. I decided that I would walk up seeing I was going to drive to Mother’s group later in the day. Was a good idea until I realised it was bloody 7 degrees (It was freezing). No real benefit to the big walk cause I just chowed down Chinese takeaway and a bag of prawn crackers…. I haven’t had any takeaway in about 6 weeks, I was hanging for it…
Sam – The penny has dropped , it is you from Mother’s Group… I am not very quick am I.. I didn’t even look to see that you were from Geelong.
Meg – Jett’s password is: jett
Tiggy – Let me tell you that you are one fantastic, strong, loving (OGM so many more words) person I think I have ever meet (well not in person) .
Jillian – Hello don’t think I has said hi before, just checked out Immy’s web page those pictures of her hands and feet are so great. In black and white they are amazing, I think I am going to take some of Jett’s they are chubby and so sweet at the moment.
Beck - Good luck to John, fingers crossed.
I started this post @ 7pm tonight but my friend came over so I will do more personals tomorrow.

    Goodnight all
    Take Care

Hi everyone, I officially feel as crap as ever after my 7th night of about 4 hours of interrupted sleep. I am finding Tim is being USELESS and hasnt' helped since she got sick. What is with that? I am so angry at him for leaving it all up to me that I can't talk to him or even look at him in fear of going so crazy that they'll take me away.
Why does he do it? He helps when Im well rested but not when i really need him. I am furious.
Sarajo, coco weighed 7.5kilos the other day at the Doc's...not sure if that's way big or what.
Beck, don't worry, those comps are rigged I say!!! Maddy's beautiful and should've been in the finals.
And very good luck to John for his interview. I know how you feel!! Tim is still on a crap wage, Im hanging for the day he gets his degree and some better pay (a couple of years away), but on his wage with four people, it's a huge struggle.
better go and feed coco. She seems happy today but the cough is at it's worst, just won't stop (and i have it too, we sound so ridiculous together).
    talk later xooxox

    Hi All,
Well 6th months must be the sick time for babies. This morning Jett woke up with a blocked nose and cough. He seems fine, so I am not worried at the moment. May too be because of his injections. He woke this morning at 5:30am not to sure why, I just hope it is a once off..
My God, It is so bloody cold, poor babies must be even colder as they are not mobile yet.
Beck - No good about Maddy and Take five, is she in an agency??? Maybe that might help.
Sam – I have Jett in front of Raggs now, he has been a terror last night and God I am not used to it after such a good month.
    Sarajo - Jett’s six-month measurement are; Length: 70cm
    Head circumference: 45cm
    Weight: 9240kg
What a whopper hey!! I think most boys are bigger than girls; most of my mum’s at mother groups girls are about the same. Little girls are just so sweet; I love having a cuddle when I get the chance. I really wish I do have a little girl second but if not I would be happy with either, really.
Meg – God I think it is most men!!! I think they just think that it is all up to us, they are the bread winners and we are just MOTHERS. My god some days I just want to slap Ben. It would help your emotions running on 4 hours sleep either. I know when Jett was really bad I was the same any little thing would set me off, Ben would bloody cop it. It is worse too as he is not around when all the hard work needs to be done, sometimes it feels like you are the mother and the father, I am with you it really sucks…
    Take Care all
    I will catch up later

Awwww.... {{{{{Meg}}}}} Sorry to hear you're still having really rough nights with Coco being sick at all. I totally hear you about a certain DH not being much support or help at night. Don't you just want to punch them sometimes? They offer to help but when it comes down to it, it's suddenly 'your job' because they have to work in the morning. I can't remember the last time a Mummy had a 9 hour day!

Gosh, I don't know how you do survive on a small wage with 4 and a mortgage. We're struggling with no mortgage and having to pay a small rent with our repayments for the car. Can't wait til we've paid off the car and we have $150+ a week extra to spend on other things. Still three years away though.... You're amazing girl!

Dani - good on you for recommending BB to your mothers' group friends! It's always great to have more friends here; and more babies to goo over! hehe Hope you enjoyed having your friend over and don't feel too bad about eating/scoffing down some Chinese. OMG you make me want to binge on prawn crackers right now! *L* Chinese certainly isn't the worst you could have eaten, I think I win with my Whopper Cheese value meal I had for dinner last night! hehe

Sara - Thanks for the support....I shouldn't have been so down about Maddy and the comp, I just wanted everyone to see & share how beautiful my little girl is! I have no idea how much Maddy weighs....the last time I had her weighed was at her immunisations @ 4 months. She was 6.1kgs then. For all I know she's a heffalump now and like 8kgs! *LOL* She's certainly looking very rollypolly at the moment.

I don't think charts are much to worry about, but according to the latest charts for girls at 6 months, the 50th percentile is 7.3kgs.
