Rach - we have this speical strap thing that clips them down to the changetable.. DS was a terror trying to climb off or sit up & touch things - and now when he is strapped he knows to lie there.
He can still move if he wanted to (only cos we don't have such a normal change table), but it just reminds him not to try
I think its Goldbugs... i'll look upstairs in a sec.. got it for like $30 at a baby expo a few months ago. I'll take a pic if you want
