Oh those tops are cute Charly's Mum.
I got SO a "World's Best Daddy" mug, some boxers (coz I'm sick of washing his old holey ones that he refuses to throw out) and a bottle of scotch lol.
I do have a question about father's day however, I have a 2yr old stepson, is it horrible for me to only write Noah's name on the father's day card I bought? I kind of feel that it's up to his ex to organise something from his other son but I don't know if that's horrid.

Lauren I think it depends on your relationship, if stepson is living with you maybe should be for both. Did what makes you comfortable, the first fathers day is special, not that DH seems to think so. I ended up getting a couple of shirts 'I love Daddy' and 'Daddy's Girl'.

Oh he'll love them when he sees the adorable Charly in them don't worry!
Yeah I'd put stepson's name on it if he lived with us or something but SO sees him on Sunday's and I see him 1 or 2 times a month....

    Oh that's cute PC!
Noah's normally pretty good when shopping, except he turns around and tries to suck on the bits behind him that the trolley mate doesn't cover! This week he kept pulling everything out as well, I ended up giving him a $1 pack of biscuits to destroy as he saw fit and that did the trick!

HAHA!! Yeah I give Maya something from the trolley, today she wanted my bottle of water. At the moment she is intrigued with a bit of masking tape

I saw the t-shirts at Cotton On yesterday but DP loves his salty nuts I will get a T-shirt next year as Maya just seems to grow out of everything so quickly I will wait till she is in Size 1 so it will last longer.

Lauren - Since he doesn't live with you I would leave it up to his mother to organise something separate. But if shes a bit weird and wont do anything maybe get a separate card.......let him scribble in it.

Know what you mean Chon, Charly grows out of everything so fast, I got a S so one I can shrink it and it will still fit and second she will be in it for a while.

Funny you guy should mention the items from the trolley Charly had to have the cheese the other day to hold while shopping. She is always after my bottle of water, much better than her cup.

Hope everyone has a good fathers day.

    It is quiet, hey!

We had a good Fathers Day here, went for a nice long walk as it was a nice day then to the in laws for tea.

Mayas pulling herself up everywhere, I'm so worried shes going to fall the wrong way instead of her bum.

Not much happening but we are having some lovely weather in Adelaide

    Hope everyone is well!

I missed the thread changing!! Our fathers day was ok DH was sick all last week but wouldn't take time off work, then Issy has had temps up to 39.8 so had her up at emergency. (its nothing too serious just viral ) So I had to have the weekend off work to lok after them. I was so annoyed at DH because I told him to have time off work and go to the dr duirng the wek last week but because he wouldn't I had to have the weekend off nad lose penalty rates. When I was sick he didn't have any time off for me!! I am just annoyed because with paying for the IVF we could have done with the $$.
I am due to test on friday to see if the embryo transfer has been successful.

Issy is in size 0 Dh had her in a size 1 wondersuit last night and I was suprised how well it fit!!

Oh Shez what a bummer! Thank goodness my DP took time off when he was sick, you should be annoyed!

Goodluck with your test on Friday, Cant wait to find out!!!

I had an Implanen (sp?) in my arm since Maya was born but had it taken out last week as its playing around with my system, feel lethargic and having trouble losing weight, so Dr took it out to see if its that. I'm not too fussed if I fall pregnant at the moment, we want another baby and it took us 10 months to have Maya, we hardly DTD anyway but I would like to wait a little while longer if possible.

Wow I can't even imagine having another one any time soon! I think the main reason is I'm not ok with having to have a c-section yet. I know I shouldn't care but I do. I think we'll start ttc around Noah's 2nd birthday, well that's if it's up to me.

We are trying now because it took 2 years to fall with Issy and if it works 1st go we will be thrilled, we haven't used protection at all since Issy was born, but I have polycystic ovaries and haven't ovulated on my own since I came off the pill in 2004.
Why do you have to have a c/s Lauren? Sorry for being intrusive but thought I may have missed you mentioning it earlier?

Hi again, lovelies. Twas a pretty crap Father's day for my DH... He had to work all day and got to see Natalie for a total of about 20 minutes.
Wow at these babies in size 1 already... Mind you, I always find Bonds stuff is one size bigger than everything else IYKWIM... Natalie is certainly not fading away to a shadow - she's got real chubby cheeks, but she's still in 00s. I've got a handful of size 0 jumpsuits to take away with us tho in case she grows some more while we're gone
I wish everyone who's TTC the very best... It can be such a stressful time. We won't be for a while yet, though DH would like to start sooner than me. But I call the shots because I'm the one doing the hard yards.
Yeah, sorry if its nosey, but why c/s Lauren?

Hey Lauren - just saw a thread started by the mods...
Happy birthday! You and another BB member were born on the same day (in the same year)! Cool - a long lost twin
    Have a lovely day, sweets.

    Happy Birthday Lauren!!

I find the Bonds are 1 size smaller as well.

My DP finally put up the Fisher Price swing yesterday that I got for Maya last Thursday
She loves it so much, since the weather is so nice we go out and she just swings with a little content smile on her face, laughing at the dog running around and just looking around

Has everyone noticed their bubs personalities starting to really show now, there is so many little things or habits Maya is developing now and the different sounds she makes for different moments, I'm really enjoying this age she is at, she is learning something every day.
