Lauren: Hope Ash goes ok at the Drs tomorrow. he is a great size isn't he Keep on growing Little (big) Man

Took Olivia to the Drs today for a check up.. all is going great her heart is perfect! We discussed seeing a pead and our GP has said that Olivia is 100% healthy (apart from a cold) He said that what happened was most likely a one off and in his medical opinion should not happen again. I do feel reassured and am happy to go with what he says.. We also stopped the Ab's as they are going through her and really aren't doing anything.. I will still worry but I feel better knowing her heart is all good.. Now to go through the mummy paranoia that I am doing the right thing..

Buzzie - Hope Ash was just over excited.

Nic - thats great news, must be a huge weight off of your mind. Trust your instincts you are a great mum and i am sure you are doing the right thing.

I am over baby spew, i have change my shirt 3 times today & yesterday, gone thru 3 wraps both days, 4 sets of bedding & lost count of how many times i have to change Vicky's shirts, plus she is swimming in drool and it was freezing this morning - 1 degree - and the same to come tomorrow morning. At least both kids are sleeping until at least 6am.

Lauren - Wow Ash really is getting big! We should organise another Melb meet up soon so we can see just how much all the bubs have grown. Good luck at the doctors tomorrow.

Nic - Good to hear that the doctor isn't too worried. But mummy paranoia is a good thing I think...

My mothers group went to the park today which was nice. It was a little cool but ok in the sun. Olivia had a great time laying on the picnic rug with the other babies and trying to hold their hands - she has a real fascination with hands at the moment.

I forgot to mention that we started Gymbaroo last week. Olivia seems to enjoy it, it gives her the opportunity to try out equipment and interact with other bubs so I think it is a good thing. The best thing about it is that it TOTALLY wears her out. Literally 1 minute after the end of the session she is asleep (before we get to the car), I am not kidding. So Mondays are a good day for mummy Lauren, did you end up signing Ash up for Gymbaroo?

Michelle- Hi there, woohoo for the 12th of Dec bubba’s. Gabe has also had a few feeding issues but is a real chubba too so it must have been the day for it hehe. Goodluck with the immunizations – I hate them- I can’t wait until they are further apart.
Louise- Happy 6 months to Sofia! Are you happy to be back at work? I was just looking at your ticker, my DD was born in Aug 05 (12 weeks prem) and I have Gabe born in Dec 07, so our kids are similar in age. How early was Sofia, is she doing well?
Liz- Gabe’s sleeping was bad in the sleeping bag to, so I have him out of it tonight to see if he’s any better. Hmm, toilet training, my DD is mostly TT during the day but seems to have gotten a bit lazy recently and has be wetting a bit more (probably because I have been putting pull-ups on her when we go out).
TeenaRose- Go Olivia! Hope you don’t have to suffer with the mouth pain for too much longer.
Nic-Glad to hear Olivia appears to be back to her normal self and that her sleeping has been better. Unfortunately Gabe is still not sleeping very well, I don’t know what’s up. I put him down around 8.30pm and already his woken up twice crying – so I’ve given him some panadol to see if that helps.
Jas- Hi there. Hope that Ethan is feeling better tomorrow and that his temp has gone down.
Buzzie- I Hope that all goes well at the doctors tomorrow and that there are no issues to worry about. Go Asher with that great weight – must be a happy bubba!
Morgan- Yeah, you gotta love that baby spew!

Well, as I was saying to Nic, Gabe has been a bit funny the last few days not sleeping well at all. Don’t know what’s wrong but I hope the panadol helps!

ETA ALicia- Kyla goes to Gymbaroo but I haven't done it with Gabe yet - what center so you go to?

Sorry girls, kind of lost place of the new thread. LOL.

Will have to make it a quick one from me.

First some good news. Abbey cut her first tooth today, second one isnt' far behing it. Feeding her is a nightmare atm though, thinking it's because she has a sore more.

Bad news. Took Abbey back to the Dr this afternoon as I noticed her ears were really runny, again. Her chest still hasn't cleared from her chestinfection and it was a month ago I first ook her to the Dr's about it. Dr took a swab from her ear to send away and Abbey has to go in for a chest xray in the morning. Dr thinks she may have Bronchialitis (sp) Abbey is on AB's again for her ears. Which I am thinking is a reaction from her teeth, she has a runny bum too, again the teeth I think.

    AGGGGGGGG damn kids hey.

On my own with the kids tonight, DP has gone to see the Foo Fighters with a mate. Thanks hun, alone with sick kids once again.

Take care every one and hopefully I can come back with some good news.

Morgan: It would have been good to meet some BBers Maybe if we get down that way in June/July..

Trish: 1st up.. woo on the tooth but holy.. Slow down Abbey lol.. sorry she isn't feeling so well.. poor bub has had a bad run of sickness hasn't she..

My new mattress arrived *drool* I so can't wait to go to bed. OMG it is so comfortable!!

Olivia was so cute tonight. I rolled her on her tummy in the bath and she kicked and splashed.. I got a vid of it which I will upload and link later.

ooo FRiday Night Games on.. woooo something to watch on Fridays

    hi everyone!!

So sorry have been MIA but things have just been way to busy, with relos here from overseas, Greek easter and Chrissie's Baptism last week! I've tried to read most of the posts but there's no way i could tackle personals!!

Hope everyone is well! Thoughts to Teena!

Chrissie had her 4 month needles yesterday and was such a little gem! She didn't even flinch when the first one went in! And a cuddle fixed the second one straight away! what a champ! She's still being real lazy with rolling over.. goes right to the side but doesn't go onto her tummy.. has gone back to waking at 3ish for food again..WT?! i want my 8-6 baby back!!! hehehe

    xxx bbl

    Hi all,
Buzzie- yep I think you can. My step mum got pregnant again when he first was 2 months old with no sign of anything... I've heard that if you're BF and you go more than 4 hours without a feed or expressing you can ovulate? Not sure how true that is but.
OK I'm preparing to be shot down in flames here but we have started solids today. I know it's early but my GP ok'ed it and Ty really seemed to want and need it and I just couldn't keep up with feeding every one and a half hours during the day and every two hours at night anymore. I do feel a bit guilty- I was determined to wait off until six months and I know that part of the reason I've done it is my own selfishness. But it went surprisingly well. We only did a tiny half tpsn of Heinz Organic rice cereal with ebm and he loved it and wanted more. He didn't have tounge thrust reflex either- actually took it off the spoon with his lips and swallowed instead of pushing it back out with his tongue. No bad reactions and so far no belly aches so tomorrow I'm going to give it to him while we have our dinner.
Like I said, I know it's early but i feel like I've done the right thing.
Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend and those of you in Sydney are enjoying the beautiful day! We're off to a bbq at a mate's place
