    hi everyone,

been awol for quite a while.

mirani is growing really well, trying to crawl atm but just ends up rolling around on the floor and then screaming when she gets stuck.

she now has her 2 bottom teeth, and looks too cute for words.

she got tonsilitis a few weeks back and then teeth straight after, so our house was not full of happy campers. alisha's been sick on and off with colds, so she's constantly booger-girl atm.

the depression thing, i think has resolved itself for the time being. but having dp off work atm is hard.

also whats the pressie exchange thing about? would like to be involved, and know more.

    take care everyone

also, finger food at 7 months, whats ok and not ok? mirani loves her food and hates not eating with the rest of us.

Hey Michelle - So glad you popped in. I was thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were going. Sorry to hear that you've had a rough time with sickness, there is nothing worse than a sick household. I am glad that your pnd has subsided, hopefully it will stay away. I really struggled last month with my moods, but I feel ok atm. Not sure about finger food. I can remember someone mentioning steamed carrot sticks though. Miss Loren is not very interested in food so we are still only testing the waters with basic stuff atm.

hi michelle good to see your back doing well sort of ok.. for everyone. I hope things settle down for you. I hate tonsilitis.. i couldnt imagine a baby with it!

With the birthday thing, a bunch of us have decided to do like a KK thing but not christmas, for birthdays. i have a list of people doing it and on the 1st of August i will put everyone in a hat and email you who you got and we are all going to buy a birthday pressie for that persons bubs. We chose everyone does it for the 1st of December as that was sorta right in the middle of everyones dates and not too close to chrissy.
So if you can email me your address to send the pressie too and obviously the email addy u use as im not doing this through BB, to hard to keep PM everyone. theres not a price limit, but you dont need to go all out my email addy is buzzandash@hotmail.com

I decided yesterday im gonna go back to tafe and study! I used to work at a nursing home when my old boss was taking so much time off work i needed the extra money and i really loved it, so im gonna do aged care cert. at tafe in Feb next yr so mum can start having Ash. and i asked about the price and it was only $155!! because my healthcare card! woot.. so i got really excited and decided im going to take advantage of having it and do lots of courses, there heaps of nursing ones i have wanted to do for soooo long! yay.

LOL - that's cute Nic. I haven't given Kayla a heaps shallow bath for her to just splash around in. That might save my back! I usually help her sit up in it.. and it comes up to her belly. It's shallow enough for her to play on her tummy, but too deep to let go of her, if that makes sense. She'd dip her head in too easily at that depth.

Olivia stuck her head in the first time I let go of her and spluttered and carried on.. I felt so bad.. but no she rolls over before I have let go of her completely and even puts her face really close to the water but doesn't stick her head in anymore

I sat Olivia in the bath the other day but I stuck an old cloth nappy under her.. it worked for a bi but I didn't move my hands away from her,,
