I'll be in pressie swap, although I agree that the big number one is coming around much too quickly.

Grobags - I have Olivia in her all in one jammies in the sleeping bag that I think is tog 2.5 (?). That was all she was in for awhile as her room usually stays at about 19/20degrees. The last few nights though I have been putting a blanket over her as well just to under her arms. Sometimes I worry about her poor little cold hands but she seems ok.

Does anyone elses baby throw their head around??? Olivia has started shaking her head left to right quite forcefully. My mum suggested that maybe it was because of her teeth (she is pulling her ears sometimes too) and I am just hoping that's what it is.

Will cath up better during the week sorry all. It's been a busy weekend. Sleep vibes to all.

Alicia: Is Olivia unhappy when she throws her head around? If she is just shaking it from what I have read and seen it is just a normal part of development For some reasons babies like it lol

    Teena: Hi

My Olivia has 2 sleeping bags now. I still haven't worked out the TOG thing but the one I bought is for room temp of 19 or thereabouts. I have Olivia in a all in one (no singlet) and as this bag doesn't have sleeves I put a light blanket over the top half and a very light one all over.../ Her other bag I think is a home made one (friend gave it to me) it has long sleeves with a little bit over hanging for her hands I only need a light blanket with this one

Well another awesome night.. This is just brilliant 7:30 - 4:45.. Jacob woke me at 2 for the toilet but oh well..

    Present list:
    Me
    Alicia
    Teena
    Trish
    Lauren?

    Is that right so far?

i am so jealous of all those babies sleeping all night... we got back from church around 9 so thot I'd feed miss (took til 10 to settle her) thinking it'd get her thru a bit. nope up at 12.30 then 2.30 for dummy then 4 ish, then up for the day at 5. I wish she'd do some sleeping. hoping to take her back to bed with me soon so with both get some sleep.

she's cracking me up today - loud is the only word for it. now also cranky.

can't remember who asked, maybe trish? chiro was for wind & poo. the real issue was lactose overload/snacking, but what they said makes sense - what the nurse told you - & they may have prevented future probs cropping up. in our local area (camden) is a chiro who after first consult sees babies free. can pm you if close enough for you.

also i drink peppermint tea (nicer than chamomile) & am taking probiotics - inner health from helth food shop. yakiut not strong enough.

just got the philips monitor w/ 2 parent things - so handy in 2 storey house...

hope everyone has a great day. gotta go - miss is over it...

Well, I'm certainly not in the sleep club! Woke every couple of hours again. Just for feeds and straight back to sleep tho. *shrug* I never got a full night sleep with DS, so I'm not really expecting any different from DD. hehe. It's tiring, but manageable.

Had my first cup of chamomile last night.. it wasn't that bad! I think I could aquire a taste for it Will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.

Jus - Kayla has taken to being loud lately too. LOL. Just yelling and blowing raspberries.. keeps her amused. I'm surprised it didn't wake DS who was in our bed this morning LOL. She eventually went back to sleep tho.

Well, crawling is going great guns.. and we finally got it on video last night. She's getting faster each time she does it.. so it's only a matter of time before she's crawling properly (she's kinda doing a commando crawl at the moment). I'm going to have to think about putting her in the proper cot in our room shortly, once she's crawling properly she'll be able to climb out onto our bed and fall off! I will hate having to actually get out of bed to get her tho

    Well, enjoy your days ladies

yeh im in on the pressies... i reckon if we just do it like secret santa, that way if your picked person has there birthday coming up you buy them the presant on what ever day it is, as everyones b/day is a little apart. so if we organise it well in time, youll have plenty of notice when that particular babys b/day is. how about that???? or we all pick one day right in the middle of everyones b/day and all buy pressies on the same day?? - note chrissy coming up so if we said like 1st december (pretty average day i think) and do that..... just an idea?
And of course we need one person to do the names... Im happy to do it, as Ashs bday is just before chrissy anyways so hell get alot of pressies im sure.. lol or i could still put my name in the hat but ill know whos got me, which isnt an issue..

    Sounds like a plan Lauren.

I have a non sleeping baby too. I can see those top teeth so damn close now it's not funny so I am hoping once they are through it's back to a decent nights sleep from Abbey. One can only hope so anyway.Poor Noah is down with a runny bum, He has to go to the toilet to fart

Had a dentist appt this arvo but called and said to them "Noah has the runs, what would you like me to do?" this way it was in their court, they get grumpy when you cancel. Obviously she said we'd rebook him. He is fast asleep now in bed. Not sure what he has eaten (if it was that) but something has upset his tummy. I sure hope I don't get it. Don't want to spend my time on the plane in the loo.

Hope it is just a 24hour thing and that you don't get it...

stay right away lol.. from him I mean lol

Olivia is being painful this afternoon. She is tired but wants to have me lay in bed with my booby at her beck and call.. Well sorry me dear I have 3 little boys who want an early dinner.. They put in a early dinner order before

she is semi whining in bed.. I hate leaving her to cry but i figure this is just protesting and not actual crying so its ok..

bububububaabubbba bubbba is what she is yelling out

    hey there,
sorry to hear other babies also aren't sleeping, but nice to know i'm not alone. she has to sleep one day i guess. trying to teach her to put the dummy in herself.
is currently having a ball with the activity station we bought her. so far it's been worth every cent.
count us in on the pressie thing. tell me how it works... i reckon it would be easiest to pick a day in the middle & do it then...
    hope noah gets better soon
ps. i am happy for all you mummies who got some sleep. hope some more do tonight.
mother of the year only just got today's slow cooker meal on now. not sure if it'll be ready before breakfast tomorrow. he he he. oh well, at least I tried.
    have a lovely evening
