Firstly, if your bub needs a feed overnight then feed her. Is she hungry or is the feed for comfort? You could try giving her a bottle with water in it if you think she is feeding for comfort or don't offer her anything. It may take a few nights of being unsettled but it might just work. Secondly if bub is really upset at the 4am wake up take her to bed with you and get some sleep. Eventually she'll sleep through the 4am mark and before you know it she won't come to bed with you. If it is sleep that you need than do what you have to get some rest.
kt - The 3am party is a killer. Loren was doing this about a month ago. I was sick of getting up and trying to put her back to sleep. In the end if she was happy I just let he be and eventually she went back to sleep. It seems that my lack of intervention actually helped her to self settle.
Nic - 6 kids and camping...oh no way.

Took Loren to the health nurse today. She is 9kgs and 72cms!!! Poor little mite hit her mouth on the bath edge tonight and broke the skin on her gum, exposing her second top front tooth. We had lots of blood and screams!!!
Nic - Yes she is standing in the tub and starting to pull herself up on the taps...Although is does get down when I say No!!! Her favourite toy atm is the toilet. She loves to pull herself up onto the loo and play drums. I am constantly chasing her up the hall and catching her before she gets to the loo.
I am so peeved the night wakings have started again.. 5 nights in a row of wonderful blissful sleep and boom!! she starts waking again.. not to worry
Someone asked yesterday about Fathers day gifts.. I will do my usual.. I will scan thier hands and feet and get a photo of all the kids eithe rjust them or with Simon and then I put it all together on one picture and print it out and frame it

Well my lappy is finanlly starting to play up after the coffee spill and the num lock key is stuck on so i cant use it cos i cant type anything, so if i get a chance to get on mums ill try to keep up, dunno how much itll cost to fix, guessing it wont be under warrentee LOL
Dinner was very nice last night. Ash really enjoyed having cuddles and considering ash isnt used to late nights out, it went very well. Rob wants to see ash more and start being Dad so well take it slow and see how we go. He wants to come to the show with us so that would be nice to finally get some pics of him and Ash together. (next step is telling his parents but his brother is expecting a baby in 8 weeks so he doesnt want to take the lime light from him right now - which is fair enough i guess)
When i got home mum was very quiet and is very sad today cos she said she realised how much she would miss Ash if we did get back together. Now its sooo hard if they still go to qld and im left choosing - nanna and grand dad over daddy!!! GGRRHH its soooo not fair!! I think mum would be happier to stay here longer but her hubby is very set on going next yr. I would be so much happier if everyone just stayed here, but at the end of the day i can only do what i can afford to do and if Rob doesnt play daddy and we dont get back together then theres no way i can afford a house on my own so i go to qld regardless! - hmmm will take every day as it comes.. who knows what lies over the next yr!
Hi everyone else.. very me post there... cranky pants needs his morning nap.
We had the best day yesterday.. We spent it laying around watching tv. went to the beach and had fish and chips.. home again.. I day napped!!!! woooot! Ethan and I went for a bike ride that afternoon. Just a short one..
Olivia has been brilliant.. onto her 2nd nap of the day already.. house is clean (ish)
Put up our baby barricades yesterday so now I can breathe easy again.. Olivia kept fiding her way to the bathroom or boys bedrooms.. they are most definitly not baby proof..
Well Thats about it.. hows everyone else doing today

We've had a good day finally got my tax so been lots of naughty shopping! hehe.
Brought a massive toy box from ebay for ash will get it in a couple weeks but itll look great in his toy room!
And yay fixed laptop.. i brought a new computer keyboard plugged in it to the lappy, turned num lock off and took it out again and its working now.. lol good thing it only cos me $2 to buy - i think they scanned it wrong, tag said $19.99 LOL
We're doing the barricades here too... its incredible how hes into anything within seconds. standing up on EVERYTHING!!! ahhh
Decent night here. although she wouldn't go to sleep till almost 9:30 last night. whiny and carrying on.. I really didn't think she would sleep all night but she did. only to 4:30 though but hey its better then nothing. Just sucks that my day starts then . She is now down for her 1st nap of the day..

Bekz- Ouch ouch ouch poor little Loren. I was at a friend's place yesterday, her bub fell forward and her dummy went up under her top lip and split the gum right at the top of her mouth in front of her teeth. I nearly fainted, for someone who works in a hospital I am not good with blood, and there was sooooo much of it.
Dh is away here and I am soooo lonely Dropped him off at the airport yesterday and he's back on Saturday. It's ok during the day but Ty goes to bed at six, so after that I am all by myself...
Ty is still not standing up a lot. He'll push up on things- like the bottom step or my knees- but won't pull up on things yet ( maybe I should be counting my blessings, not complaining about it?)
Lori - No, noone on his side knows. Rob and i have been on and off the the past 9 years, but were not in a relationship when we had Ash. His parents are VERY traditional - must be married before you have kids so we never told them. And his sister announced she was pregnant 2 weeks before i found out i was, so we didnt want to spoil her moment, and then the lies just got carried away and he could never tell them and then his brothers wife found out she was pregnant and so now shes due in 8 weeks and we dont want to spoil there moment (both first bubs for them too) so once things settle down hopefully itll come out and who knows how they will take it.
Lauren- WOW That is full on for you. What a horrible situation. Much respect coming your way from me... that's is amazing. Hats off to you hun, what a fantastic job you are doing... and what a secret to have to keep.

kids are born to drive their mums mental!! all morning while Olivia was playing (and mum did a photoshoot hehe) they were outside having a great time.. Then as soon as Olivia went to sleep and i got up to clean they came inside GRRR..
I'm tired..
