I just read that too Lauren.. so much bad news today.. A 5 yr old boy was taken by a croc up north

and my mum rang a little while ago. She is a foster carer and the little girl she had for most of last year was hit and killed by a car last night. I am so upset. She was only 10..

Hi Nic,that was terriable news to recieve, how sad for the 10 year old girl, may she sleep with the Angels.
We are all going through some very sad & crazy times atm.Glad to hear your not caught up in any floods, hope you and your family are ok,Nic.

Buzzie- I can`t believe some of these fires were deliberately lit, they should be put into gaol, never to be released. I feel for all the families that have lost loved ones & their houses.pets...etc...Our family prays for some relief very soon. I hope tomorrow is a better day for everyone.

Mum and dad are in Yea - close to Kinglake. I went to school with lots of people from Kinglake and still know a lot that live there. Apparently the fire is getting closer to Yea but it doesn't seem to be their major concern at the moment. I know mum said the town is full of people who evacuated from Kinglake and are sleeping in their cars and tents down the main street. It is so scary, my dad is in a wheelchair so really it is just mum fighting the fire if it gets too close... hopefully they will leave but I don't think they will, I think they will choose to fight it, they did last time.
